The Chibaku Tensei shattered with a deafening boom, fragments of rock and soil raining down like a meteor storm.

In the hollowed tree, Nagato's eyes widened in disbelief.

"My… Chibaku Tensei… was destroyed…"

He had poured everything—his chakra, his life force—into that technique, yet Kaede Uchiha had cut it apart with a single strike.

Konan's face turned pale. "Nagato, stop! Your body won't last much longer!"

But Nagato clenched his teeth, hatred flaring in his Rinnegan.

"No… it's not over yet. If I can't seal him, I'll crush him!"

Outside, the dust cleared to reveal Kaede's towering 300-meter Perfect Susanoo, its armor gleaming, its gaze locked on the Deva Path below.

Kaede raised his head slightly, eyes narrowing in the direction of Nagato's real body.

"I told you… once I finish here, I'll come for you."

The Deva Path didn't hesitate—it thrust out both hands.

"Shinra Tensei!"

A colossal repulsive force erupted, the ground splitting and trees uprooting, a wave of destruction rushing toward Susanoo.

But Kaede didn't even take a step back.

Susanoo braced itself, both hands gripping its massive blade.

The moment the wave of force hit, Kaede swung—

The pressure split apart like a river parting around stone, dissipating harmlessly.

Nagato's pupils shrank. "Impossible…"

Konan's voice trembled. "Nagato, enough! If you keep this up—"

But he cut her off with a roar.

"If one blow won't do it… then I'll use all of my power!"

The Deva Path leapt high, palms facing Kaede.

"Super Shinra Tensei!!"

The air screamed as a blinding white shockwave erupted outward.

The earth caved in for kilometers, mountains in the distance crumbling, a hurricane of debris swallowing the battlefield.

From afar, Terumi Mei and her Mist shinobi were forced to retreat at full speed, even then barely resisting the overwhelming pressure.

When the dust finally began to settle…

A dark shadow loomed within the storm.

Susanoo stood unharmed, its blade resting on its shoulder, flames of natural energy flickering across its armor.

Kaede's eyes glinted with amusement. "Is that all you've got?"

Nagato's breathing grew ragged, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth. His limbs trembled.

Yet his gaze remained fixed on Kaede with unyielding hatred.

"Even if I die… I'll drag you down with me!"

The Deva Path suddenly burst forward—

But Kaede was already moving.

In one step, Susanoo closed the distance.

The massive blade came down like the judgment of the heavens.

The Deva Path's body split apart in an instant, crumbling to pieces as the chakra link severed.

Nagato's head jerked back violently as blood spurted from his mouth.

Konan caught him before he collapsed, her voice urgent. "Nagato!"

His breathing was shallow, but his gaze remained locked on the towering Susanoo in the distance.

"That monster… cannot be allowed to live…"

Kaede didn't even glance back—he began walking toward the source of Nagato's chakra.

The hunt for the real body had begun.
