After being pushed to the brink multiple times by Tsunade and Orochimaru, Jiraiya finally couldn't hold back and entered Sage Mode.
From a distance away from the battlefield, Jiraiya quickly began forming hand seals.
"Summoning Technique!"
In an instant, Gamabunta and the Two Great Toad Sages from Mount Myōboku appeared before him.
Shima and Fukasaku were both stunned. "Tsunade?"
They knew Orochimaru had defected from Konoha, so fighting him was no problem.
But Tsunade? What was going on with her?
Wasn't she serving as Konoha's Fifth Hokage?
Fukasaku couldn't help but ask, "Jiraiya, kid, don't tell me you defected too?"
Jiraiya rolled his eyes. "It's Tsunade who's been manipulated by Uchiha Kaede. I'm here to save her!"
"Save the talk, they're already coming at us!"
In the distance, Tsunade and Orochimaru both summoned their own creatures—Katsuyu and Manda.
This time, Manda was surprisingly obedient, because it had seen the terrifying power of Uchiha Kaede.
At this point, Orochimaru was no longer someone it could afford to provoke.
In fact, it even felt somewhat grateful to him—if Orochimaru hadn't summoned it out of Ryūchi Cave to raise it in Takigakure, it would've disappeared along with the cave!
Tsunade and Orochimaru each stood on the heads of their summons and charged toward Jiraiya.
"Bunta, hold them off for a bit," Jiraiya said urgently.
"Two Great Sages, I'm just a moment away from entering Sage Mode!"
Fukasaku and Shima didn't dare to be careless and quickly leapt onto Jiraiya's shoulders.
Jiraiya pressed his palms together to begin preparing Sage Mode, during which he could only move his legs.
A loud crash shook the earth as Katsuyu, Manda, and Gamabunta collided, the ground trembling violently.
Meanwhile, Tsunade and Orochimaru rushed straight at Jiraiya atop Gamabunta's head.
Just as their attacks were about to land, Jiraiya stomped his foot several times and whipped his head forward.
"Ninja Art: Wild Lion's Mane!"
Instantly, his hair shot out like steel needles, stabbing toward Tsunade and Orochimaru.
Orochimaru dodged, licking his lips with amusement.
"Forming seals with your feet? Jiraiya, you really have learned a new trick."
Tsunade narrowed her eyes, clearly surprised.
"You're entering Sage Mode?"
Orochimaru's expression shifted in disbelief.
The technique he himself couldn't master—this fool Jiraiya had managed to learn it?
Jiraiya laughed boldly. "Haha, didn't expect me to have this hidden up my sleeve, did you?"
At that moment, it felt less like they were in a deadly battle and more like old friends catching up after years apart.
But this was still war.
Seeing his smugness, Tsunade smirked coldly.
"Don't get too full of yourself—Sage Mode isn't something only you can use!"
She pressed her palms together.
"Yin Seal… Release!"
A lotus-shaped mark appeared on her forehead as a golden aura covered her eyes.
With Uchiha Kaede's help, even though she hadn't fully mastered Sage Mode, Tsunade had sealed away a considerable amount of natural energy using the Yin Seal.
That stored energy was enough for her to fight at high intensity for half an hour!
"What?!"
Both Orochimaru and Jiraiya were stunned—though for different reasons.
Jiraiya was shocked at how effortlessly Tsunade entered Sage Mode, while Orochimaru was simply jealous.
His two old teammates could both use Sage Mode, yet he—less gifted—could not.
For the first time, Orochimaru felt a sting of defeat.
"I won't be holding back!" Tsunade roared, charging straight at Jiraiya.
"Really not holding back, huh?!"
Jiraiya panicked and turned to flee—his Sage Mode still needed more time to activate.

"Looks like you're done for too," Uchiha Kaede said with mild disappointment as he looked at Killer B before him.
Ever since one of B's swords had been broken, his offense had weakened significantly.
In the next few exchanges, Kaede had broken three more swords.
Now, B was left with only three swords—two in his hands, one in his mouth.
Behind Kaede, the Fourth Raikage was breathing heavily, his stamina worn down by repeated clashes.
"Fool, you're underestimating me!"
B put away his remaining swords, his entire body suddenly cloaked in red chakra.
"Boring," Kaede said with a shake of his head.
If they weren't fighting in taijutsu anymore, there was no reason for him to play along.
He slowly raised Kyōka Suigetsu. "I'll end this in an instant."
"Big bro!"
B ignored Kaede's disdain, shouting toward the Raikage.
"Yeah!" The Raikage instantly caught on.
"Double Lariat!"
The two disappeared from sight, rushing at Kaede from both sides.
In the blink of an eye, they had locked their arms around Kaede's neck, severing his head from his body.
"Something's off!" The Raikage's pupils shrank.
Kaede wouldn't fall for such an obvious move…
Yet the sensation in his arms felt perfectly real.
"Farewell."
Before he could question it, Kaede's cold, killing intent-laden voice spoke right at his ear.
At the same moment, the "body" they had beheaded dissolved into nothingness.
Before the Raikage could react, Kyōka Suigetsu pierced through his chest.
His supposedly impenetrable Lightning Release Armor was as fragile as paper.
Natural energy surged into his body, obliterating all his internal organs in an instant.
"Damn… you'll die a horrible—"
The Raikage's words were cut short as Kaede contemptuously withdrew his blade and kicked.
His head exploded like a watermelon.
"Big bro!" B roared in grief and rage.
"Octo, lend me everything you've got!"
In moments, B transformed into the full Eight-Tails form.
"Die!"
The massive bijū leapt high, swinging its fist down at Kaede.
But in the next instant, Kaede's Susanoo—third form—appeared, its massive hand catching the Eight-Tails' head and crushing it.
Kaede smiled faintly. "Stay still—you'll be with him soon."
Drawing the Futsu-no-Mitama Sword from Susanoo's waist, he sliced off one of the Eight-Tails' arms in a single stroke.
"Damn you!"
B howled in pain, charging a Tailed Beast Bomb.
Kaede shook his head. "I've seen that move too many times."
Susanoo evolved further—without even reaching its final form, its fourth-stage, legged form was already comparable in size to the Eight-Tails.
It seized the half-formed Tailed Beast Bomb with one hand while clamping the beast's mouth shut with the other.
Then it shoved the orb back inside and forced its jaws closed.
A massive explosion tore through the Eight-Tails' face, blasting half of it away.
The agony rocked B's consciousness, stars bursting in his vision.
Susanoo's hand slammed down onto the beast's head.
"Seal!"
