Chapter 3: I'm falling in love with her again

The class ended slowly and was very boring for Peter, as he already knew everything being taught. In his world, he had even taught these things to students, as he had worked as a teacher for some time.

In fact, he was hesitant to come to school, maybe because his school life in his own dimension wasn't particularly attractive-whether due to bullying, the lectures about his lateness because of being Spider-Man,

or because of Harry, who, according to his memories, was in another country. Also, his relationships with Nancy Rachman is the name she got after she lost her memories and her real name is, Natasha Romanoff, known as Black Widow,

And MJ, with whom he seems to have no relationship here at least at this time،And Liz Allen and Gwen.

Speaking of Gwen, throughout the entire class, he could feel her gaze piercing the back of his head. Peter didn't want to turn around, especially after their eyes met when he first entered the classroom.

Honestly, he wouldn't have recognized her as Gwen if it weren't for the memories he had of Peter from this dimension.

What he found strange was that he had visited several dimensions due to spider-related events, or the inheritors, and he always found the same characters, only differing by age.

Peter gathered all his school supplies in his bag and headed out of the classroom along with the others, going toward his locker to put his books there.

As soon as he opened his locker, someone called out to him, "Hey, Parker!"

Peter looked to the side and saw a boy who appeared to be a bit taller than him, with short blond hair and blue eyes. From his memories, Peter recognized him.

It was Eugene, the bully who made his life hell in his own dimension, although he eventually reconciled with him after Eugene was paralyzed, and everything that happened with the symbiote, before Eugene eventually left New York.

Peter just hoped that he wouldn't experience the same things that happened with Eugene from his own world, especially since this Eugene wasn't as mean-spirited as the one he knew.

In fact, this Eugene only teased Peter occasionally with harmless bullying... well, with a few hits.

Peter looked at the blond and acknowledged his presence, "Eugene."

Eugene slowly approached Peter and hugged him. "Hey, man, I heard about your uncle. I'm sorry, dude. Are you okay, my friend?"

The two separated from the hug, and Peter smiled at the blond. "Thanks, Eugene. I'm fine, man."

The blond nodded at Peter and put a hand on his shoulder. "If you need to talk, I'm here, alright?"

Peter nodded his head. "Thank you." The blond also nodded back, then left Peter standing near his locker as he headed to his next class.

Peter watched the blond's back, smiling as he closed his locker and thought to himself, "Man, I don't think I'll ever get used to this younger, kinder version of Eugene. I guess this Eugene still remembers that we were childhood friends."

Indeed, the two were friends; they had even been classmates since elementary school. Although the Peter from this dimension was a bit reserved, even if he was a little rebellious, he didn't dare to show it.

After all, the Peter from this dimension was obsessed with skateboarding and photography, especially photography.

Peter walked slowly toward the school's exit. He wasn't really excited for the following classes, knowing he wouldn't gain anything new since he had studied all this a long time ago.

As Peter walked, a blonde figure suddenly stood in front of him and hugged him as well. Instinctively, he placed his hand on the person's back.

When they separated, Peter found that the person hugging him was Gwen Stacy, his first love.

Peter stood there, motionless, looking at her. Memories flooded his mind-remembering how the Green Goblin had thrown her and how she had died, with him unable to save her.

How he hated her for a time when he was manipulated into thinking she betrayed him, how he hated himself, how he cried at night for her, and how acceptance finally came, letting him accept her fate.

How the world was so cruel to him that it would bring everyone back in a universe-breaking event, except her and Uncle Ben, as if the universe didn't want him to be connected with her.

Peter had years to come to terms with her death, even if seeing her here brought him a little pain.

Yet, living with Gwen from Earth-65 for a while helped him accept things more easily.

All these thoughts and memories passed through Peter's mind in a fraction of a second, allowing him to quickly compose himself in front of her. "Hello, Gwen."

Gwen looked at him with sympathy and sadness. "Hey, Peter. Are you okay? If you need someone to talk to, I'm here."

Peter gave her his trademark smile. "You know, you're the second person today to say that. Are we in some kind of story or something? Like the writer doesn't know what to write."

Gwen laughed at his small joke. "If that's the case, then that writer is really bad at their job."

Peter nodded, still smiling. "You're right; it is.."

Gwen held his arm, looking into his eyes. "I don't know, Peter, but your behavior is different. Are you really okay? Are you sure you don't want to talk about it?"

Peter looked at her with an amused expression, trying to change the subject in any way. "Oh, so you know my behavior? Do you happen to have my picture on your computer?"

Gwen looked down, stammering. "What... what? No, of course not! Last time I checked, you're the one who does that."

Peter looked up at the empty hallway ceiling, speaking hesitantly, "About that... I don't have it anymore."

Gwen looked at him with furrowed eyebrows. "What... why not? I thought you liked the photo."

"I thought you didn't like having your picture on someone's computer," Peter replied quickly.

"I don't think I ever told you that, Parker," Gwen said seriously, looking into his blue eyes.

"Does that mean you want me to keep your photo? Does that mean something, Stacy?" Peter said with a teasing tone.

Gwen looked at him nervously, then quickly looked around and hurried past him. "I'm late for my class; I have to go."

As Gwen ran down the hall to her next class, Peter simply watched her witha big smile on his face. "I think I'm falling in love with her all over again."

Suddenly Peter looked seriously ahead, "fack you stupid hormones"
