Neurolink System in the Modern World

Chapter 466 Incomplete Theory

CRACK!

The void barrier shattered with my awesome punch , and I caught sight of a light on the other side.

Without hesitation, I quickly entered, and emerged to the sight of a lush forest, reminiscent of a fantasy world.

The beauty was eye catching, with a giant tree standing tall in the center, its branches reaching up to touch the clouds in the sky.

As I stabilized myself, I glanced back to see the crack behind me slowly beginning to mend itself. Before long, it vanished completely, as if it had never existed in the first place.

'Is this the right place?' I pondered silently.

This location was much larger and different than I remembered. I was intimately familiar with the design and size of my small world, having created it myself.

'The energy here is concentrated in that tree,' I murmured to myself, my gaze drawn irresistibly towards the towering giant at the center of the forest. Discover more stories at empire

As I made my way towards the towering tree, I encountered a variety of unfamiliar animals. Some of them were unlike anything I had ever seen before.

However, I didn't have time to check on them.

The closer I got to the tree, the more intense the energy became. It was almost visible like water in my vision, as if the air itself was vibrating with power.

The roots of the tree spread out in all directions, forming a dense network that supported the immense weight of the trunk and branches. Some of the roots were so massive that they could easily accommodate a town.

THUD!

I landed at the bottom of the tree, feeling a familiar type of power coursing through it.

"This is Mind Power, and it's very condensed!" I exclaimed.

If this tree Mind Power were measured in units, it would be over 10,,000+. That's a staggering amount, especially considering that my highest recorded MP was around 500, with the help of Alice and the girls.

Curious about how such a thing could possess so much power, I reached out and touched it.

Instantly, I sensed a connection forming, and a projection appeared in my mind.

It was Sung Hei, but it felt like I was watching a recording of her rather than interacting with a living being.

She appeared unchanged from when I last saw her, though her attire had taken on a more fantasy-like appearance.

"If you're seeing this, it means my plan succeeded and you were able to find us," she began speaking, her voice tinged with sadness.

"I'm sure you already know about my plan. We wanted to wait for you. Unfortunately, after taking things into consideration, I discovered that the amount of energy needed in order to time travel was massive. That's why, with the help of others, we decided to create this tree and cultivate Mind Power" she paused to catch her breath.

"This tree is call Yggdrasil. We got the name from a fantasy book," she explained, with a forced giggle in an attempt to lighten the mood, though I could sense the underlying sadness in her tone.

"This tree contains all our power, and by integrating yourself with it, you will be able to gain our abilities. You can also use the energy of this tree to open the space-time continuum," she explained solemnly.

'Space-time continuum,' I mused inwardly, recalling the theory.

It's the concept in physics that time and space are interconnected, forming a four-dimensional continuum where events in one dimension can affect those in another.

Essentially, it's the framework that describes the fabric of the universe, encompassing both the three dimensions of space and the fourth dimension of time.

"This is the research results that I've come up with," she continued, and another piece of information was directly sent into my mind.

In this framework, the space-time continuum was like a fabric that can be bent or warped by massive objects, such as stars or black holes.

According to Einstein's theory of general relativity, this bending of space-time creates what I perceive as gravity.

Now, if I could manipulate this fabric intentionally. If I could create a significant distortion in the space-time continuum, I might be able to create a pathway that connects distant points in space and time. This concept forms the basis of theoretical time travel.

By accessing these pathways, I could potentially traverse through time, moving backward or forward along the continuum.

However, achieving this feat would require an immense amount of energy and mastery over the fundamental laws of physics.

'The laws of physics part was not an issue, and all the needed abilities to make it work are ready, but is that really the only thing I need to worry about? Traveling in space would be a cakewalk compared to traveling in time,' I reflected inwardly.

"I know that you would noticed that there are some flaws in my plan. Unfortunately , this was the only thing I could come up with after centuries of researching, and getting information from the outside world through my dreams.

But , I'm not worried , I'm sure that if anyone could perfect the formula of Time traveling it would be you ," Sung Hei added , her face this time was filled with confidence in me.

I couldn't help but admit that she looked really cool right now. If I ever succeeded, I promised myself that I would make sure to treat her better.

As the message drew to a close, one by one, the girls began speaking, expressing their love for me and their trust in my abilities.

Witnessing their sincerity and affection, I couldn't help but realize that despite my psychotic tendencies, there were still women who cared for me genuinely.

When the message was finish, I got the general gist of everything. I received the power of all the girls , but I decided to not absorbed yet the energy from the tree.

To ensure that no mishaps occurred, I needed to perfect this theory first before taking any action.

If I could master the art of time travel, I would have all the time in the universe, so there was no need to rush things.

"Thank you, everyone," I murmured aloud, my heart racing with gratitude.
