Chapter 98: Weak!
'Are they really part of the trafficking ring.' Tim thought as the idea of it stuck with him.
'I can ask them. But it would be better if better if I ask Idah himself, or just directly access the memories themselves.' Tim thought to himself as he used [Death Embrace] specifically on Idah.
Idah's memories and skills poured into Tim's mind as if it was Tim's mind was a blackhole sucking Idah's entire being.
Tim felt different. It was the first time that he used his death embrace on a battle sage. He was already used to using it on mages that he forgot that he had never used it on a battle sage.
He felt different. Muscle memories that were not his were now with him. battle tips and techniques that he never imagined himself using were now his.
At this point he was Idah himself, and he knew exactly the relationship Idah had with the men in front of him.
He smiled in joy. The mission that he gave himself just submitted itself to him.
He had previously decided to clear the drug trafficking ring that was responsible for purchasing the live humans and using them for their personal use.
He especially hated the fact that they often took advantage of minors. Whether he was back on earth or he was in another planet entirely. Minors were precious gems, that should never be touched. That was his motivation to put an end to the trafficking ring.
Now in front of him were the men that were coordinating the operation that he loathed. He did not need to exchange words with them. He already marked them for death and he had no intention of letting anyone go.
"Shut up you fool. He has intel on Idah's team. Who cares if Idah came alone to the town or not." Italo said, as he did not want to scare Tim off.
"No need. I won't be needing you to give me some silvers. I just need to take it from your corpse." Tim said coldly, as he unsheathed his sword.
The group realizing what Tim did entered a defensive pose and created space from him.
"What are you doing? We come in peace." Ixar yelled.
Tim cursed internally, 'Why do these people yell so much.' Tim thought.
Right now, he had Idah's extensive battle memory, and the next thing he did was to gauge them. Although the appraisal skill that Tim got had been active, he did not actively focus to see the color that hovered over that head.
He first of all looked at the guard, who had the weakest color of all. He had the white color which the system indicated to him as very weak, then he looked over at the other squad that he was not familiar with.
Out of the 5 man squad, 3 of them had a white color attached to their heads, while the remaining 2 had green color which just indicated to him that they were weak.
Then the two main offenders, Ixar and Italo also had green color hovering over his head. His tensed hand over his sword lightened when he accessed their strength.
He did not even feel like battling them, because they were not worth his time. But ultimately he did not want to expose his summons to the outside world. he was still in the open surrounded by other dungeons.
"Kid do not bite more than you can chew. We only want you to tell us where Idah and his gang members are. Trust me, you do not want to enter a battle with me." Ixar threatened, but Tim was not having it.
He was definitely not going to have a long battle with the group that was in front of him. They were seven in number and he had to take them all out as quick as possible.
"It was unfortunate for you to run into me like this. If you met me a week ago then maybe, just maybe you would have survived, but now that you met me.
Your fate has been sealed. Death Embrace." Tim responded coldly as he used his skill on 25 Mystic Lions. Since he could not summon them, then he figured that the next best thing was to use the excess buff that it provided to end the battle as fast as possible.
Looking at the notification showing the additional stats, he smiled. Now he had an additional +25 to all stats, an additional +75 to his endurance and an additional +25 to his strength stat.
To say the very least. Tim was extremely broken at this point. There was no way for them to put up a fight against him. he also noticed that all the threat level that he was seeing changed to white.
Which just meant that at his current buffed strength, they were all weak.
Jaw who had been silent since the group's engagement with Tim, was the first one to notice the change in Tim's strength. Like Faye had witnessed, the air around Tim became overwhelmingly heavier.
His instincts were screaming at him to flee the scene, but he rebelled. He wanted to face the battle head on, so he made the first move.
"Wind Bullet Storm!" Jaw yelled, as he hurriedly loaded his mana to power the spell. Immediately the spell started, and dense wind bullets that were 10 inches long formulated in front of Jaw, and started fire towards Tim.
FOO FOO FOO FOO FOOO
The spell also caught the other members of the group off guard, but thankfully they were not in the line of fire.
SWOO SWOO SWOOO!
One by one Tim accurately cut down all the massive wind bullets that was shot towards him. Jaw was stunned by the way Tim flawlessly dismantled his attack.
It was the type of attack that instantly wiped out a threat, but to Tim it was like his attack was nothing.
"Don't just stare! All of you, attack. He is definitely a threat that we can't allow to survive!" Jaw yelled, as he increased the intensity of the attack.
