While Zou was making complaints as to why Faye wanted to let Tim off easy. Faye was having another different thought entirely.
'Was he this strong the last time that we met him at that center? I could not even feel a single drop of mana circulating around him then, and I can't still feel any drop of mana circulating within him now.
But something feels off about him now. The elf, had he received a power boost. The air around him seems much more thicker than before. I am sure of this.
I can't also gauge his aura. It seems as if he has not started learning it, but where is this feeling of caution and fear coming from?
Is it due to the fact that he was sort of controlling those monsters to attack us? I can't tell. How did he even do something like that?
That seems like something a beast tamer would do, but within the last 48 hours that we saw him last, he had already tamed over 12 monsters.
That is impossible for a beast tamer that is still at the earlier stage. Especially when the monsters are crazy strong.
What has he done? What is he now?' Faye thought in her mind, as she properly scanned her foe that seemed to be enjoying the talk that they were having.
"Are you a Beast Tamer Mage?" Faye asked, as she cut short the meaningless rant that her boss was going on about.
Tim was surprised when she asked such a question, but he was not too surprised. He had just admitted to manipulating the attacks on their guild.
So, it was plausible for such a scenario to come up.
"You should be preparing for your deaths, not asking stupid questions that lead to nowhere." Tim said, as he stood up from the fallen tree that he was previously sitting on.
He had engaged the duo for enough time at the moment, which was crucial. He also had a 3 backup plan. He was stalling for time, because he was waiting for Amiyah to be killed.
He was just waiting the notification, but at this point. He did not mind anymore like that.
It was getting boring for him to be stalling the way he was.
"I guess the notification will come my way either way. I don't need to wait long, I will get it." Tim said, as he swung his sword a few times, stretching his hands and body a couple of times.
He was actually getting used to the new strength that he had access to. He currently had the physical strength of a 2 Star Sage, which was thanks to the cheat like skill that he had, Death Embrace.
But Tim knew deep down that having a lot of raw strength does not mean jack shit in front of absolute skill. He had tested and witnessed that first hand with Idah, and the result of his test proved his point.
"I will no longer hold back." Zou yelled as usual, as he accelerated from his position towards Tim.
Is speed was deadly fast even for Faye, but it was not something that Tim could not keep track off.
CLANG!
Strength and strength. Sword and sword clashed. The result was a stalemate.
Tim had not moved an inch from the spot that he was in, when Zou charged into him.
"Almighty Strike!" Zou yelled in the midst of their stalemate, and immediately the force that he was exacting on Tim's sword tripled.

Seeing this Tim smiled, and smashed the sword with his left hand, which forcefully changed the direction of the stab.
The thing was that Faye had not expected the sudden change in direction of her attack, but it was too late for her to defend now. She was wide open and Tim used his sword swinging hand to slam his sword into her open body.

She flew carelessly, crashing into 3 solid trees at the same time. Fortunately for her. When the sword was about to cut into her, an enchanted defense function of her body armor kicked in which protected her entire body fully.
That enchantment of her armor saved her from being diced by Tim in that brief moment.
"Face me you fool!" Zou yelled, as he dashed towards Tim once more. This time he did not go in for brute force. Ge coated his sword with heavy aura.
The special aura technique that he was trained in. SWOOSH SWOOSH.
The air screamed, as Zou swung his sword towards Tim. The first swing, Tim dodged it luckily and he could feel the sheer amount of force that was present in the skill when force of the swing passed him.
But he could not dodge the follow up swing. BANG!
Zou's sword slammed into Tim's sword like it was a hammer smiting a nail. The force of the swing pushed Tim back a couple of feet. Things were not going well for Tim and he knew it.
But he still wanted to gauge his strength first.
"HAHAH You can't even survive a basic clash with me. I will take my sweet time in killing you." Zou said, as he closed the gap between himself and Tim hurriedly.
Another forceful swing of the sword was coming his way, but as he wanted to dodge the swing to the left. His danger sense flared up. So, within microseconds. He changed his direction, and took the swing head on with his sword acting as a shield to the devastating strike.
POOM!
Once more he was smashed by the crazy amount of force that was transferred unto his body.
Has he was crashing into trees due to the force exacted on him. he saw it, the reason why his danger sense screamed for him to avoid that left and take the force of the swing instead.
It was simply because that in that position that Tim was supposed to dodge to. A small crater had formed in the area, due to the skill that was released in the area.
