"Discard." Tim passed a one-line instruction to his system, because he definitely had no intention of keeping the worst of the worst as his undead.
He turned his gaze to the direction that the remaining 2 criminals, Jaw and Maw escaped to. He had wasted time in dispatching the criminals, but then again, he did not really care. He trusted his speed.
At least he knew how to properly reach his max speed with the help of the aura energy that he was leaching from Idah.

Tim accelerated towards their general location, with his body fully cloaked with aura energy. It was the first time that he had utilised aura energy in that manner, but it felt normal to him – like he had been using the energy for years.

Across the vast wild forest. Two figures ran like they had never run before in their lives. They were not sages that could enhance their physical abilities with the help of aura.
They were assassin mages that relied on spells that dispatched enemies as quick as possible. Although they also had good endurance and decent speed, but their speed was not built for a long-term run.
And sadly, for them, they did not have any long-term movement spell in their arsenal.
"He is going to catch up with us." Maw said, as he was starting to go out of breath while the both of them breezed across trees.
Jaw did not reply to Maw's complain. He had another thing in mind. He was thinking about the battle that he had with Tim.
'That was not even a battle. It was like he was using my attack to test something. I am definitely sure that he was using my attack to gauge something.
Is he a High Rank 2 Star Battle Sage?
No, he can't be. If he was then I won't be alive. His strength his definitely in the middle rank range. If he is in the middle rank range, then he is going to catch up to me soon enough.

The mana bolt struck Maws leg and sent him tumbling till he hit a tree.
Jaw did not even need to look back knowing fully well that he had bought himself minutes, even if it was seconds that it bought him. he was glad because there was no way that he would want to die, not after all he had done to reach the stage that he was in life.
Tim stopped his run. He had been running in the general direction that the last 2 members of the squad ran in, but he did not really know their specific direction, but he suddenly heard noise in the forest.
The forest in the region was usually empty and devoid of animals or monsters, at least that was what he had come to belief.
He knew that for there to be noise in the forest then it must mean too things. Either there was another group in the forest or the noise came from the criminals that he had deemed for death.
It decided to belief that it was the latter, so he accelerated towards the direction of the noise.
Before he even reached the location of the noise, he had spotted Maw with his enhanced vision. On reaching there he wanted to end Maw's life in a single swoop, but he decided against it.
He wanted to see if he could get Maw to point the direction where Jaw ran in, and before he could even ask for Jaw's location. Maw blurted everything out to Tim.
"That bastard betrayed me. Spare me. He ran towards that location. That bastard ran towards that location. Spare me. I can be helpful to you in many ways." Maw said, as he pointed the location that Jaw ran to.
This caught Tim off guard a little. He had not even expected the criminals to rat on themselves. Looking at Maw's legs. He saw the wound that was inflicted by Jaw. Which caused the leg to swell and bleed.
If Maw was not a criminal, maybe he would have pitied him, but Maw was a criminal, at least according to Tim's biased judgement and Tim had no place in his heart for forgiveness.

Tim's sword descended and cleanly dissected Maw's body into equal halves. He had not intended to dissect him, but the strength that he was utilizing was above what Idah was used to controlling. So, he could not accurately control his strength.

He was like a blur that the eyes never catch on to, so did Tim accelerate towards Jaw's location. Not even 20 seconds after his all-out boost, he caught on to Jaw.
With his dangerous acceleration, he could have killed Jaw in a single swoop, but he decided against it. He wanted to test his reflexes.
