Necromancer Of The Shadows

Chapter 1333: Raining Blood (Part 7)

Evan held Bromal by the throat, making it difficult for him to even breathe due to the pressure and his broken neck.

Because of being nourished by the power of laws, Rank Four Core Evolvers wouldn't die even if their heads or hearts were crushed into meat pulp.

Using their Law Power, they could regenerate their injured parts.

However, this was not a problem for Evan, who had many ways to take care of these kinds of things.

Suddenly, his black pupils shrank, turning into bottomless black holes as he activated the second effect of his Null Eyes skill.

====

---) Second Effect (Void Gaze): Upon activation, the caster's pupils expand into bottomless black voids. Gazing into these eyes drains the energy, willpower, and physical strength of those nearby, siphoning their essence into the caster. Any being who makes eye contact with the caster finds their life force and magical power rapidly sapped, weakening them while strengthening the caster.

====

Bromal was already staring into Evan's eyes with a fearful look. As a result, the moment he activated the Void Gaze, Bromal felt as if he was struck by lightning, and all of his energy—including the Law Power and physical strength—began to disappear as if being sucked by the bottomless black holes within Evan's eyes.

Instead of second effect, Evan could have used the third effect of the Null Eyes—Oblivion Eyes—which was far more powerful than the second effect.

=====

---) Third Effect (Oblivion Eyes): Upon activation, the user's pupils become singularities resembling void-like black holes. When the caster focuses their gaze on an object or person, a piece of that target is erased from existence, starting with memories and eventually erasing their physical form. The Void Energy gradually obliterates the target's identity, memories, and eventually their body. Initially, they forget small things, but prolonged exposure to the Oblivion Eyes results in total erasure.

=====

However, the third effect of the Null Eyes was very potent. Even though it could stop Bromal from recovering from his injuries, his entire existence would have been erased by the Void Energy as a result.

One of the reasons Evan came here was to collect some high-ranking bodies to try the Rune of Absorption on them. So completely erasing or destroying them was not an option for him.

As his energy began to sap away, Bromal's body became limp, and even though he struggled to escape from Evan's grip, he couldn't do anything.

Around three minutes later, Evan found Bromal had lost most of his powers, including his law enegry and a golden light flashed in his left hand.

A wave of pure destruction spread in all directions as the Halberd of Destruction appeared in his hand.

Without wasting any words, he plunged the Halberd right into Bromal's head.

A wave of pure destruction spread within his body, and his brain, heart, and other important body parts were destroyed in an instant.

He had already sapped away all of his energy, so even though Bromal tried to struggle to recover using his Law Power, all of it was useless, and his body finally lost all of its vitality.

Looking at Bromal's limp body without any change in expression, Evan threw it toward the wall of the Shadow World, which swallowed it, putting it into his shadow storage.

After taking care of Bromal, he looked around and found Elysia and his other shadow undeads were also almost done.

He wasn't surprised by this, as the moment his nearly fifty thousand shadow undeads made the move, the fate of the guards who numbered less than two thousand was already sealed.

The bodies of most of the Core Evolvers were pierced by the weapons held by the shadow undeads, who lifted them up like rag dolls, showing their achievements.

The sight of thousands of black undeads lifting dead bodies high along with their weapons was so eerie that it could send a shiver running down anyone's spine.

'As expected from the Eldritch Creatures...' Evan commented inwardly, feeling speechless because of what his shadow undeads were doing.

When he was in the Azragoth World, he had created many shadow undeads from the Eldritch Creatures' bodies, and they were the ones who were holding the Core Evolvers like trophies...And their leader was the strongest Eldritch Creature among his shadow undeads—Gobu.

'Do they think this is Lovecraft or something? Just kill them and be done with it. Why run around while holding them as if they are victory flags?'

Evan looked at them and found all the Core Evolvers who were being held like flags ranged from Rank One to Rank Two, with a few Rank Three Core Evolvers.

He shook his head, and the next second—

Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish! - - - -

Small black nails erupted from the black carpet of the Shadow World that spread in the midair and pierced the bodies of all the Rank One and Rank Two Core Evolvers who were being held like flags, shooting them high into the sky like rockets due to momentum.

Once they were high enough, Evan clenched his fist, and the small nails within their bodies went out of control. In the next instant—

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! - - - -

The sound of explosions—like fireworks—rang out as their bodies exploded midair.

A silence engulfed the entire Shadow World as everyone lifted their heads to look at the brightened sky.

"Beautiful..." Evan clapped his hands together as if he was praying for the peace of the dead souls, but most of his attention was focused on Gustav—Who was the only one left alive inside the Shadow World and was still fighting against the strange creature he had summoned earlier.

Evan slowly took a step forward, walking towards Gustav...And as he walked, drops of blood began to rain down from the sky as the bones and flesh of the people who had just been torn apart in the sky fell all over.

"Just last one and then I can go back..." Evan muttered in a low voice as his figured blurred and he disappeared from the spot.
