NBA: Built to Dominate

Chapter 101: Chapter 110: The Smoke Hasn’t Cleared! The Bulls Block the Lakers’ Locker Room After the Game!

Pippen Lays Low—Rodman Goes Down for the Count

Before Dennis Rodman got knocked out cold, Scottie Pippen was already furious.

"Mo cheap-shotted me from behind?!"

"If you've got guts, face me head-on!"

Pippen was ready to go after Alex Mo.

But then—

Rodman collapsed beside him.

The sight of the Bad Boys legend lying on the floor, foaming at the mouth, was enough to make Pippen pause.

"Yeah... you know what? Maybe I'll just stay down too."

At this point, Mo was fully in rhythm.

He had shut down Jordan, put Pippen on the ground, and KO'd Rodman.

There was no stopping him.

So Pippen made the smart choice:

Stay down. Live to fight another day.

Jordan Can't Believe What He's Seeing

Mile Jordan stood frozen.

He had just watched his entire team get dismantled by one man.

It was like something straight out of a sci-fi movie.

But this wasn't a movie.

It was real.

Alex Mo wasn't human.

He was a force of nature.

And if Rodman hadn't gone down, Jordan knew Mo would've kept going.

Seven in, seven out—like it was nothing.

"Who Else?!"

With Pippen down.

With Rodman out cold.

With Jordan stunned.

Alex Mo looked around at the entire Bulls team.

Then, he spoke:

"I just have one question..."

"WHO ELSE?!"

Silence.

No one stepped up.

The entire United Center fell into dead silence.

The Bulls were completely shaken.

The fight was over.

Now, it was about saving face.

Or saving lives.

Commentators Go Crazy—China Declares Mo the "Martial Saint"

Back at the CCTV studio, Sun Zhengping was in shock.

Meanwhile, Zhang Wenli had completely abandoned basketball commentary.

He was now a boxing analyst.

"LOOK AT THAT RIGHT HOOK! Beautiful technique!"

"AND THE KICK! Perfect execution!"

"Rodman got KNOCKED OUT! Mo didn't just hit him—HE'S TRAINED FOR THIS!"

The Chinese audience was going wild.

It wasn't just Mo's dominance.

It was WHERE he did it.

Christmas Day.

The United Center.

Against Michael Jordan's Bulls.

Alex Mo had just walked into the house of the NBA's dynasty team and beat them into submission.

That night, Chinese fans gave Mo a new title:

武圣 (Wǔ Shèng) – The Martial Saint.

With Ben Wallace as "Roaring Tianzun"

With Iverson as "The Boxing King"

The Three Young Stars of the Lakers were now fully solidified.

David Stern is in SHOCK

Back in the NBA offices, David Stern was speechless.

This wasn't supposed to happen.

"Is this a dream? Am I hallucinating?"

He had never seen anything like this in his career.

The Christmas game—the NBA's biggest event of the regular season—had just turned into an all-out brawl.

And the worst part?

It was Alex Mo who started it.

The NBA had spent the entire season hyping him up as their next global superstar.

They wanted him to be the face of the league.

But now?

He had thrown all of that away and turned into the NBA's biggest villain overnight.

"How do we punish him?"

David Stern wasn't sure.

Suspending Mo alone wouldn't be fair.

Because the entire Bulls team had gotten involved.

Rodman started it.

Pippen escalated it.

Jordan didn't stop it.

Even half of the Lakers bench had jumped in.

This wasn't just a fight.

This was a war.

And no matter what Stern did, this was going to change the NBA forever.

Nike HQ is in Full Panic Mode

Meanwhile, at Nike Headquarters in Portland, Phil Knight had his head in his hands.

"What the hell just happened?!"

This was supposed to be Nike's big day.

Mo had just debuted his signature IM1 sneakers. It was the perfect marketing setup.Millions of fans were watching.

But now?

Instead of talking about Mo's shoes…

People were talking about Mo's right hook.

Nike had poured millions of dollars into his brand.

And now?

Their only spokesperson was about to get suspended indefinitely.

"We just lost our biggest sales window!"

Nike's executives were dead silent.

This was a PR nightmare.

And Mo didn't even look like he regretted it.

The Fallout – Mass Ejections

After 20 minutes of chaos, the referees finally regained control.

Rodman was ejected. (Obviously. He was already in an ambulance.)Pippen, Ron Harper, and Bill Wennington were also ejected.Even Jordan got hit with a technical foul. (Though he claimed "chest tightness" and sat out the rest of the game.)For the Lakers:Mo was ejected. (No surprise.)Ben Wallace was ejected. (Also expected.)Iverson was ejected. (The referees didn't forget his cheap shots.)Campbell, who took out two Bulls players, was also tossed.

8 players were ejected.

And several others received technical fouls.

As Mo Walks Out, The Crowd Erupts

As Mo walked into the tunnel, the United Center exploded with noise.

Some fans booed him. (Die-hard Bulls fans who hated what he did.)Some fans cheered him. (They LOVED the chaos.)Some fans chanted "MVP! MVP!"

Because after tonight, some Bulls fans had converted.

They weren't rooting for Jordan anymore.

They had just become Mo fans.

"Who likes soft players?"

"If I'm picking a star, I'm picking the Martial Saint!"

Back in the Locker Room – The Lakers Celebrate

As soon as Mo entered the locker room, Iverson threw his jersey in the air.

"Mo, that was the best Christmas present I've ever gotten!"

"Did you plan on giving me a BOXING MATCH as a gift?!"

Mo laughed.

"You figured it out?"

"Too bad I wasn't done yet."

Ben Wallace grinned.

"Rodman was weak. I thought he could at least take three punches."

Iverson shook his head.

"Bro, you're gonna be suspended for LIFE."

Mo shrugged.

"Worth it."

BUT THEN—THE BULLS BLOCK THE DOOR

Just as the Lakers were about to celebrate...

BOOM. BOOM. BOOM.

Someone was banging on the locker room door.

A Lakers staff member peeked outside.

His face turned pale.

He turned back to the team and whispered—

"Uh… the entire Bulls team is outside."

"And… they're blocking the door."

Silence.

Then, Mo grinned.

"Well then…"

"Guess we're not done yet."
