Naval Gacha System: It's Time To Monopolize The Seven Seas!

Chapter 263: | 263 | Adventures of Tiamat

Tiamat, the sole daughter of the Authority and the Dragon of Liberation. Her status within the United World Government wasn't to be underestimated. Most officials in the country had already considered her as the unspoken princess of the World Government. Her appearance and identity was strictly confidential, ranking higher than even the deepest secrets of the nation.

Even though only born recently, she was thought of as a mythical figure with fame almost rivalling her mother. And to think that such famous daughter of the Authority would stand before him. Captain Campbell of the United Marines gazed upon the little girl with jet-black hair and amethyst eyes. Her dark horn and black dragon-like tail attracted the attention of others.

Although, it also symbolized her status within the United World Government.

"What may I help you with, Miss Tiamat." Campbell could barely maintained his smile since he was practically dealing with the child of his highest superior. One wrong move would cause his reputation as an individual within the United Military to topple down. 'Why did the Fleet Admiral send me his daughter?'

He couldn't help but think to himself. He remembered a couple of years ago when things were simpler. The Port of Dawn was the sole port of operations that the United Navy owned. The Fleet Admiral would trained with them within the gym, and it was an enjoyable memory for the Captain.

Snapping back to reality, Campbell returned his attention to the little dragoness. The amethyst-like irises along with slitted pupils were staring at him with remarkable calm that shouldn't have belong to a child. It was somewhat unnerving, but the Captain was used to dealing with the unnatural.

"I want to explore the United World Government..." Tiamat answered the question of the Captain. On the other hand, he froze while smiling at her and steadily took out his phone to contact the father of this child. As it rang, he could feel the gaze of the little dragoness dawning upon him.

*Campbell, it's rare for you to call me, is there any problem?* Within the other side was none other than the Authority of the United World Government, Abraham Shepherd, the father of the little dragoness. "Sir, may I ask why the little lady is with me? And did you permit her to tour the country?"

*Hmm... So, Tiamat is with you? I was wondering where she had gotten. That child has been curious about everything, exploring the nook and cranny of the Citadel. It seems that she had set her eyes outside.* Inside of the crown above the apex of the Citadel, Abraham sat within his office.

Tiamat has been abruptly disappearing and reappearing throughout the Citadel. At first, he was worried since something might have happened to her. But after she demonstrated her capability of punching a hole through a tank, Abraham surrendered and let her be.

*My daughter is trying to find meaning. Be her guide in the tour of our country and teach her about our culture. Don't forget to take care of her and don't let any young boys near her.* Abraham warned as the thought of someone taking his daughter away from him was strangely irksome.

"A- Affirmative, Sir. I shall do as ordered." Campbell sighed and the communication between the two was cut off. After returning his phone back to his pocket, he turned his attention towards the little dragoness and mumbled. "Shouldn't it be your job as the father to teach your daughter?"

"I heard that," Tiamat tilted her head and remarked. The soft mumbling words of the Captain was as clear as someone shouting it through her ears. Campbell felt chills echoing throughout his spine as he deeply bowed at the little dragoness. "I shall be your tour guide and courier, Lady Tiamat."

The adventure of Tiamat and Campbell soon began. Their first destination was the Dawn City, to which they spent a few days as the little dragoness had visited her aunts along the way. Tiamat discovered the foreign cultures outside of the country within the capital city of the United World Government. It was the melting pot of various cultures, so it was an interesting tour.

Afterward, their second destination were the artificial island cities. These cities directly belong to the United World Government, under the complete authority of her father. The cities reminded her of the Citadel, although much more peaceful and calming. Although beastfolk roam the streets, they were numerous like the streets of Dawn City.

The artificial island cities introduced her to the direct culture of the United World Government. The humans who were under the leadership of her father. It was a culture that belong to the modern world, the homeworld of her father. Her information regarding the modern world was lacking. Although she had gotten some knowledge through the memories she had received from her father.

They were far from enough.

The tour within the artificial island cities consolidated the knowledge she had received from her father. After all, the cities and the modern world weren't that much different from one another.

The next destination required the approval of her father. Though, she was immediately approved to have it as her destination acting cute for an hour towards her father. At any rate, the third destination was the island of Servusarator, the so-called rebel island. Servusarator was a beautiful place, especially with the vast and seemingly never-ending farmland of the Minokins.

Nevertheless, the war against the rebellion had riddled the island with the craters of war. Although, the population of the island was recovering from the war. The toll and damaged that they had went through couldn't be denied. There was also the deaths of thousands upon thousands of Minokins which severely affected the population. Female Minokins now outnumbered the males.

It was a saddening sight, though Tiamat thought of it as the consequences of going against her father after everything he had done for them. If it was her, she would have destroyed them from the face of the earth. But her father was known to be the most merciful ruler alive. And, the island of Servusarator had its uses as a farming island. It would be difficult to replace.

Standing atop the highest hills of the island, Tiamat watched as the lines of the boundless horizon slowly consumed the golden sun. The long day was ending, though she could only mutter one sentence. "My father is a great man." Hearing her, a smile formed on Campbell's face who merely stood beside the little dragoness. "Your father is much more than a great man. He's the best man."

Tiamat didn't pay his remarks any heed and continued.

"No wonder mother fell in love with him. I wonder of there were any men like him." Tiamat questioned, while the Captain broke into cold sweat. His instincts were screaming at him to do something about it. "Your father is one of a kind, Lady Tiamat. Nothing could ever compare to him."

"Many might have his power, some might have his intelligence, and few might have his compassion. But one will never have it all. That is why I consider your father as one of a kind." Campbell answered of his utmost capabilities, ensuring that his mission was success.

The tour throughout the country continued as their next destination was the famed State of Pelagus. It was comprised of an archipelago and was governed by the Pelagus Government. The current governor was the leader of the Liberation Front, Hermona. When she visited the capital island of the state, she was personally escorted by the Governor.

Observing the governor, Tiamat concluded that Hermona might have a tinge of affection towards her father. It was to be expected as he was an amazing man. Even her aunts were completely charmed, despite their great denial. Sadly for them, her mother was the first one who captured her father. Although, she was rather eccentric even for the little dragoness.

The mind her mother operated under was a complete mystery to her, even her father had no idea what had gone through the mind of the Dragon of Liberation.

At any rate, she experienced the culture of the tribes situated within the archipelago. After defeating the Dominion of Tiers, the rivalling nation that had existed within the archipelago alongside the Pelagus Union, the state had experienced a period of peace.

With their economy growing and the rebellion of the State of Minos, the State of Pelagus was set as the second strongest state within the World Government. Spending a few more days within the archipelago, Tiamat set foot within the island where the former Dominion of Tiers dwelled. It had long recovered from war, and the former tribes of the fallen nation had been peacefully recovering.

Ever since the deaths of their ambitious and dangerous leaders, the two tribes that had controlled the fallen nation had turned soft, which was a piece of good news for the State of Pelagus. After all, as long as no one broke the peace that had covered the state. Only growth would follow.

But Tiamat wasn't ignorant about the news of an upcoming war. A foreign and hostile nation outside of the United World Government had planned to invade the country through the State of Pelagus. The archipelago would sooner or later become a battlefield between the World Government and the Colonial Dominions.

However, there was no need to doubt the power and authority of the World Government. With the United Military preparing for war, not even the so-called Sovereigns of humanity would be able to puncture through the borders of the nation.

"Nevertheless, we only have a few days left before war." Tiamat muttered to herself as three months had passed since she began her tour throughout the country. Gazing towards the horizon where the Colonial Dominion of Mavors resided, a cold glint escaped her amethyst-like eyes.

"I'll have a new land to explore after war,"
