Naval Gacha System: It's Time To Monopolize The Seven Seas!

Chapter 215: | 215 | TIMESKIP: Part Three - Neighbors

After the concluding defeat of the Colonial Dominion of Terra, and the following establishment of the United World Government. The sea region of Terra had become the center of attention in the Ferus Sea, signifying the change in the landscape of sovereignty.

The sea region of Terra had three neighbors, each with their own beliefs, government, and ambition. These neighbors had different thoughts from one another, whether it'd be interest, cautiousness, and outright disdain.

Amongst the neighbors was the Colonial Dominion of Mavors, residing in the northwest of the sea region. It neighbored the northern sea of the Island Archipelago and the west of the now, transformed, City of Gaea, formerly known as Terra.

The Colonial Dominion of Mavors was a spectacularly large faction with military, economy, and population much bigger than the Colonial Dominion of Terra. Beyond Mavors was also the infamous Frontier, a part of the Ferus Sea free from the control of humanity.

After the disappointing defeat of Terra, the Colonial Dominion of Mavors had been putting their interest in the sea region of Terra. With the former Colonial Dominion gone, perhaps they could conquer the sea considered to be the Gate to Europa.

However, Mavors was far from a foolish faction. They had fought against the kingdoms of the Frontier, even surviving the onslaught of the Revolting Tide. It was a dominion that had survived countless wars, its armada forged from the blood of its enemies.

The capabilities of the now-established United World Government wasn't to be underestimated. Despite being a newly-created country, it already had gotten a stable economy and powerful military.

One would have previously thought of it as an awakening empire if not for the fact that the substantial growth of the United Navy had been greatly observed by the Magus Tower.

At any rate, their strategies were sly, venomous like a snake. They wouldn't fight against a near-peer opponent head-on, and would use horrid tactics to break their adversary from the inside. It was for this reason why they had contacted the Dominion of Tier.

Other than the Colonial Dominion of Mavors, there was also the Protectorate of Nox. It was homed of the Crescent Worshipers, the faithful believers of the Moon Sovereign, Kaguya. They had considered themselves as humble servants of the Sovereign, serving her as their only god.

The Protectorate of Nox was filled to the brim with fanatic worshipers of the moon. However, as long as you don't directly clash against their beliefs. They would remain neutral, uncaring of the world around them.

Though, if they heard about a kingdom tarnishing their goddess. They would begin a lunar crusade and assure the foolish kingdom the power of their goddess. Whether it'd be through blood or destruction.

Their opinions regarding the United World Government were of cautiousness as they were curious as to why their goddess had given them a covenant of not starting anything against the newly-established country.

But despite their curiosity and cautiousness regarding the matter, they knew more than to question the will of the Moon Sovereign.

The economy and military power of the protectorate was the strongest in the short list of neighbors that surrounded the United World Government. For some unknown reason, the trading routes of the protectorate could go through the Frontier unimpeded.

Whether it was an unknown secret deal between the protectorate and the kingdoms, or the mere blessing of the Moon Sovereign alone, remained a question. What was clear, however, was their wealthy land and people.

Making them amongst the ones that could stand against the UWG, and perhaps crush them. Though, it all depends on the uppermost cards in the deck. How much does the Protectorate have? And could they defeat the cards of the United World Government?

Anyhow, the last of the three neighbors was the Kingdom of Vesta. The kingdom was a peculiarity in the Ferus Sea. It wasn't because of the fact that it had a strong, unrivalled military, or endless, wealth of an economy. It was the simple fact that it was ordinary.

The Kingdom of Vesta was the only actual human country in the Ferus Sea. They were already there before the great colonization into the New World. The populace of the kingdom and its monarch was rather a peaceful bunch, which made Europa accept them with open arms.

Their economy wasn't the strongest in the sea, but it also wasn't the weakest. It was simply enough for the people in the country to live a good life. The monarch was, according to rumors, over three hundred years old.

He was the first and current ruler of the kingdom, making many wonder what secrets it may hide within. Did he discovered a way to immortality, or was he a legendary Magus of the Magus Tower? Many questions emerge when speaking about the Monarch of Vesta.

However, one thing was clear. The Kingdom of Vesta was amongst the rare human countries untainted by the horrendous culture of Europa. There were no slaves, at the very least, confirmed sightings of beastfolk or human slaves.

The kingdom relied on its local products, which had become popular in the continent of Europa. With it alone, the country was set in the future as a stable nation for generations to come.

Now, some might wonder. What thoughts or opinions does it hold towards the United World Government. Well, the answer to that question was as straightforward as it goes.

It was none other than Interest.

They were interested of a human-led country with the beastfolks as part of the population. They were curious as to how this country manage to repel the Colonial Dominion that it stood on. Myths, legends, and stories echoed across the sea, scattered by sailors who have gone through the UWG.

The Dragon of Liberation had become a centermost part of the attention, along with the so-called Authority. Many thought of the Authority as the fleet admiral of the United Navy, who hadn't made an appearance since the establishment of the nation.

Others thought it was merely the second identity of the Dragon of Liberation. Nonetheless, one thing was clear. The Authority stood at the highest of the United World Government, a god-like figure, rivalling the Sovereigns of Europa.

His will stands above all voices below him. His words would make the United World Government act. His actions would bring forth a new era to the sea region of Terra. With sailors spreading the myths and legends about the Authority, his fame skyrocketed and became akin to an epic.

The Kingdom of Vesta desired to meet the Authority. The Monarch wanted to have a talk with this figure, desiring to know the thoughts or plans he may have towards the Ferus Sea, and perhaps the world.

But, the Kingdom of Vesta remained quiet despite their obvious interest towards the United World Government. After all, destiny would bring the two together. The United World Government would come knocking on their doorstep, and their interest would be satiated at that moment.

For now, observe and continue to live as life calls it. Time was a vast path of endless possibilities and futures. Patience and determination, the key of a good life. The motto for a typical Vestan.

...

In the apex of the tower that pierced through the heavens, Citadel. The metallic doors of an elevator slid open, revealing a gorgeous lady with ash-blond hair. Her grayish eyes narrowed as she stepped forward into the home of the so-called Authority.

"Charlotte, it has been a while." The beautiful lady, or Charlotte, heard nonchalant voice of the man she despised yet loved the most. Primarily for the fact that he was rarely working. Nevertheless, she walked forward, meeting the middle-aged man lounging on a comfy, opulent-looking chair.

His gaze was pointed at the dome-like structure that encapsulated the tower, the Foundation, while he gently swirled his wine of glass.

He slowly turned towards Charlotte, a hardworking friend of his. A smile remained on his face as he continued speaking. "Or should I call you... Prime Minister?"

Following the establishment of the United World Government, Charlotte was promoted to become the Prime Minister after receiving most of the votes from the population. It appears that beyond her identity as the Vice Admiral, she was quite popular amongst the population for helping them adjust into the new world.

Despite the obvious loyalty of the personnel towards Abraham, adapting to the realities of a foreign world far beyond their modern counterpart was something difficult for many to swallow. Even though they maintained their calm before the fleet admiral, their anxiousness was clear for all to see.

Especially to the Vice Admiral. As such, Charlotte conducted psychological examinations by hiring psychiatrist or those with experience in handling the matters of the mind. Most of the personnel were carefully given these examinations, helping them adapt and trying to also understand them.

It was a long-winded endeavor, but perhaps the simple act of helping others to steer clear from being lost was enough for someone to land in the spot as the Prime Minister of the United World Government.

"Funny, Abraham. Is this revenge for turning you as the so-called Authority? I didn't even know I was part of the candidates as the Prime Minister." Charlotte sarcastically chuckled, placing her hand on her hips.

"Sorry about that, I'm quite a vengeful one, you see..." Abraham grinned, further swirling the wine of glass in-between his fingers. He gazed at the beautiful face of Charlotte and asked. "So, how may I help you, Milady?"

Charlotte raised her eyebrows, but soon smirked as what was about to come would wipe that grin off his face. Inclining her body forward, she whispered into the ears of Abraham.

"The problem dragon is pregnant."
