A few seconds later, he asked, "Chief Butler, Miss Yao is here to see the boss. Is he available?"

Hearing this, the chief butler glanced at Xu Ruihan, who was working on his laptop, and said, "Wait for a moment. I will ask him first."

Turning to Xu Ruihan, he informed him, "Young Master, Miss Yao is here. Would you like to meet her?"

Xu Ruihan thought for a moment before nodding. "Invite her in."

"Yes, Young Master." The chief butler bowed slightly and left the study.

On his way downstairs, he relayed the order through the communication device. "Please invite Miss Yao inside."

"Yes, Chief Butler." The bodyguard acknowledged the command, opened the gate, and stepped aside. He gestured to Yao Ran and said, "Miss Yao, please."

Yao Ran thanked him and walked in. Before she could reach the main door, the chief butler was already waiting with the door open.

He smiled politely and said, "Miss Yao, my Young Master is expecting you in the study. Please follow me."

"Thank you, Chief Butler."

Yao Ran followed the chief butler up to the second floor. When they arrived at the study, the chief butler knocked on the door.

A second later, Xu Ruihan's calm voice came from inside. "Come in."

The chief butler opened the door and gestured for her to enter. "Miss Yao, please."

After Yao Ran stepped inside, he did not follow but closed the door behind her.

Xu Ruihan smiled at Yao Ran and stood up, motioning for her to take a seat on the couch. He then sat across from her and said, "It's rare for you to visit me so early. Is there something important you need to discuss with me?"

Yao Ran nodded. "Elder Brother Ruihan, I came today to inform you about our next plan. A Yu and I already discussed it with our team and decided to take action."

Xu Ruihan's expression turned serious at her words. After a short moment of silence, he asked, "What is your plan?"

"We decided to find the location of The Ark's headquarters. Since we don't have any clues to start with, we plan to lure out the people working for The Ark and use them to bring us to their headquarters," Yao Ran explained.

Xu Ruihan thought for a moment before realizing what they intended to do. His brows furrowed slightly as he said, "You plan to lure out the kidnappers."

It was not a question but a statement.

Yao Ran nodded and said, "We all know The Ark is targeting me, so I decided to act as bait. Once they take me to their headquarters, I will send the location to our team, and they can launch an attack."

Xu Ruihan's frown deepened at her words. He slowly tapped the armrest as he stared at her. After a long silence, he said, "That's a very dangerous plan."

"I know," Yao Ran replied with a smile, "but it's the most efficient plan we have."

Seeing his concern, she added, "A Yu and Shi Xuan will protect me from the shadows. Shi Xuan can teleport, and A Yu can fly. With their abilities, they will be able to follow the kidnappers without being noticed."
