Natsuki-chan likes the power hungry Kaneki

Kaneki's thoughts*

(Man it's been so long since I've been here. I'm really surprised this place is still being used though)

Kaneki was in the Tree house secret base in the forest thinking to himself after he had left his house in secret.

"I'll be lending you all 32 Demon Knight relics we had found! And I'll allow you to use them whenever you want!"

Kaneki: Seriously Yuuka that's a very risky move to offer the relics to me.

"Look at me, I don't care if you use the relics okay? If it's you who uses them it would be fine"

Kaneki: Sigh~ What do I do now? Should I accept her offer?

Kaneki was conflicted to either accept or reject Yuuka's offer.

Just then.

Shino: Oh so that's why you and Yuuka acted a bit awkwardly to each other.

Shino appeared out of nowhere surprising Kaneki.

Kaneki: Shino?! What are you doing here?

Shino: I'm the one who's supposed to ask that, weren't you in the bathroom 30 MINUTES ago?

Shino said while staring into Kaneki's eyes with an annoyed face.

Seeing this, Kaneki bowed and apologized.

Kaneki: I apologize for doing that.

Shino: Accepted. So Yuuka had offer you all the other 32 relics?

Kaneki: Yeah... You heard just now right?

Shino: I did say "Oh so that's why you and Yuuka acted a bit awkwardly to each other" after all.

Kaneki: Yeah... Yeah that's the case.

Yuuka: Wow, I didn't expect Yuuka to do that.

Shino's thoughts*

(Yuuka must done it as her way of helping Kaneki)

Shino: So how did you accept?

After saying this, Kaneki replied with a Sigh and then sat down.

Kaneki: Sigh~

He then began talking about what happened after Yuuka har offered the relics to him.

A few minutes later*

Shino: Wait so you rejected her offer?

Kaneki: Yes but she was very insistent of me accepting her "help" I honestly don't know why she's doing this.

Shino: Wow, you're denser that I thought.

Kaneki: Hmm? What do you mean?

Shino: She wants to help you, you literally just said it.

Kaneki: But why-

Shino: Obviously to help you in getting more power! Didn't you always wanted to be more powerful to bring your Mom back?

Kaneki: ...

Shino accidentally mentioned Kaneki's mom and she immediately realized it.

Shino: Wait no! I'm sorry I men-

But Kaneki made an unexpected response.

Kaneki: I can't.

Shino: Huh?

Kaneki: I-I Can't...

Kaneki began tearing up and repeatedly saying "I can't".

Shino: Kaneki?

Kaneki: I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't.

Shino: Kaneki!

After Yelling at him Kaneki stopped and calmed down a little.

Kaneki: Oh sorry about that...

Shino: Kaneki is there something in your mind?

Kaneki: No it's al-

Shino: Don't lie to me Kaneki, there is something wrong right? It's alright you can tell me.

Seeing that Shino was willing to listen, Kaneki hesitantly said.

Kaneki: fine I'll tell you.

Kaneki sat down on one of the Treehous's walls and asked Shino to sit by him.

After both had sitted down, Kaneki began talking.

Kaneki: I'm afraid that you guys would hate me.

Shino: Well I understand why yo-

Kaneki: But that's not all.

Shino: Huh? Really?

Kaneki: What I'm afraid the most is... I'd hurt you guys.

Shino: Hurt us?

Kaneki nodded.

Shino: Why would you hurt us? That's impossible.

Kaneki: Don't you remember? Just a few weeks ago I slapped Yuuka after using the crown.

Shino: you weren't yourself back then you were just very stressed and angry.

Kaneki: That's the point.

Shino: ???

Kaneki: I wasn't myself, after I had attained the power of the relics I began "changing" I said things that I don't usually say.

Shino: really? The only times I heard you say something unusual was "No one can beat us when we're together" and "Fear me for I am"-

Kaneki: Please stop I can't stand those moments.

Shino: sorry. But aside from those moments, nothing much had changed.

Kaneki: Yeah that might be so but... What if I end up going completely changing after getting a power that is too powerful for me? For example the Power of the the Demon Knights that had existed?

Shino: that's a bit too much Kaneki, but I doubt that you'll change so much that you can hurt us.

Kaneki: How can you say that?

Shino: It's just a fact, I mean you care about us a lot more than yourself. Which is concerning. And I think you'd just conquer that power.

Kaneki: But it's too risky, you should know that.

Shino: Oh I know, and Yuuka probably knows the risk of lending you more of the powers of the Demon Knights.

Kaneki: But if she knows then why risk it just to help me?

Shino: Kaneki, You've been helping us for a long time, many times. We never ever once helped you at all.

Kaneki: That's not true.

Shino: yes it is, you were the one helping us all the time. Even now but what about us? When you were getting hurt for helping and protecting us we weren't able to do anything to help you when you were hurt.

Kaneki: ... You're wrong, when I first lost most of my senses you guys helped me by cooking lots of food and even when I wasn't able to enjoy them first you still let me eat them, and the Karaoke party too.

Shino: That's right, right now we're trying to help you Kaneki.

Kaneki: But still, isn't her way of helping me a bit too risky?

Shino: It may be, but she's doing this for your sake Kaneki, though she knows the risk of possibly hurting you.

Hug*

Shino for some reason hugged Kaneki.

Shino: She'll do anything to help you! Her best friend who's always been helping her! Even though it may hurt you she'll just try to help again. I'd do the same thing!

Shino then came to her senses and noticed she was hugging Kaneki.

Shino: S-Sorry I didn't know what came over me.

Kaneki: Warm.

Shino: Huh?

Kaneki: What happened? I somehow felt warmth.

Kaneki's thoughts*

"She'll do anything to help you! Her best friend who's always been helping her! Even though it may hurt you she'll just try to help again. I'd do the same thing!"

(Really? You'd do the same? You two remind me of myself... I guess...)

Kaneki: Shino... You'd do anything to help me?

Shino: Of course! I have your back no matter what! The same goes for everyone else!

Kaneki: Even if I were to change?

Shino: Yes! All of us would still be on your side no matter what.

Kaneki: ... Fine then, I'll risk it.

Shino: Are you?

Kaneki: Yes, I'll accept Yuuka's help.

Shino: Nice!

Kaneki: In one condition.

Shino: what is it?

Kaneki: After school tomorrow, I'll train with them immediately and I'll need you guys to watch over me just in case.

Shino: sure, but shouldn't you tell that to Yuuka herself?

Kaneki: Oh crap you're right, well I'll go to her place later but first let's bring you home.

Shino: Okay then!

Kaneki: Darkness Travel.

Kaneki brought Shino back to her home with Darkness Travel.

Shino: Man darkness travel is so fast!

Kaneki: Yeah... I'll be heading to Yuuka's place now.

Shino: Okay then! Good luck!

Kaneki: Yeah... Darkness Travel.

Kaneki then used darkness to and left.

Now that Kaneki is going to accept the relics, how will he face Yuuka?
