Chapter 169: Chapter 169 : Eye of the Moon Plan!!

Jiraiya and Orochimaru had already finished discussing the topic of reviving Danzo, but Naruto's words suddenly caught their interest.

"Pervy Sage, you two are so stupid."

Orochimaru looked at Naruto with interest, a faint smile on his face as he said, "Oh? Naruto, what are you thinking?"

Naruto didn't tease them and directly said, "It's simple. You want to revive Danzo, but you don't have his body tissue. But why can't you use his tissue from when he was young, from forty years ago? Even though it's from a different time, it's still essentially the same person, right?"

Naruto's words hit Orochimaru and Jiraiya like a bolt of lightning, making them suddenly realize the solution.

"Yeah, that's a great idea. How did I not think of that?"

"Heh, looks like even I, the great Orochimaru, can learn a lesson from Naruto."

"Yeah, Orochimaru, we were trapped by our own fixed way of thinking. Now that we have the existence of the light screen, we should think more boldly."

"Right, right, I need to figure out how to turn little Jiraiya over there into a cute girl. Then you won't be able to use my current body as a woman to talk back to me."

"...Please, spare me. He's still just a kid."

"Heh, you want me to spare young you? Fine, I just happen to need some funds for my lab, what do you think?"

"...Alright, I get it, you win!"

"Heh, thank you, Hokage-sama!"

After Naruto's reminder, both Orochimaru and Jiraiya felt much better.

Jiraiya was happy because he could finally get back at Danzo.

Orochimaru was happy because he had gotten Jiraiya's funding.

Both of them got what they wanted, so it was a win-win situation.

Danzo: What about me? Can someone show respect for this dead guy?

[The official book of Fuguki Suikazan briefly reviewed the entire event, making it clear that there was no treason or betrayal, and it was considered the last pillar of the Hidden Mist's dark period.]

[There's no question about Kisame being a traitor either, as bad as things were in the Hidden Mist, the Fourth Mizukage was still the highest leader.]

[For example, if the Fifth Hokage, Tsunade, ordered Kakashi to kill Danzo, Kakashi would decisively cut Danzo into pieces, then take a bath and deliver the task report to Tsunade's room at midnight.]

[If Root's leader, Danzo, wanted Kakashi to cut Tsunade down, Kakashi refused and instead cut Danzo into pieces on the spot. Then, he took a bath and went to Tsunade's room in the middle of the night to deliver a report.]

[So, is Kakashi a traitor?]

"Kakashi, why did you have to go to Tsunade's room in the middle of the night to deliver the report?"

The Fifth Hokage, Jiraiya, stared sharply at Kakashi, causing him to break into a cold sweat.

"I never went to Tsunade-sama's room to deliver a report, and I never would. What the light screen said was just an example, a metaphor."

"Heh heh heh, why did the light screen pick you as an example? Why not anyone else?"

Kakashi swallowed hard. He wanted to ask Jiraiya if it bothered him that the light screen mentioned him and not Jiraiya going to Tsunade's room, but of course, he kept that thought to himself. If he said it out loud, it was sure to come back to haunt him.

"Well, I really don't know. After the video ends, maybe you can write a note and ask Hayashi Sora?"

"...Forget it. Don't bother Hayashi Sora with such a trivial thing."

Seeing Jiraiya turn away, Kakashi breathed a heavy sigh of relief.

He glanced at his father, Sakumo Hatake, and wanted to ask why he didn't speak up for him just now.

However, to his surprise, his father was giving him the same sharp stare as Jiraiya.

"Dad, why are you staring at me?"

Sakumo leaned in close to Kakashi and whispered in his ear, "Be honest with me. Did you really not go to Tsunade's room in the middle of the night to deliver a report?"

"…Crazy," Kakashi shot a glare at his father, making his feelings quite clear.

He, Kakashi Hatake, had never, at any point, gone to Tsunade-sama's room to deliver a report.

"Very well, Kakashi, you just said that my words were nonsense earlier, and now you're calling me crazy. I'm really looking forward to tonight's little 'test' for you."

Kakashi: What a tragedy!

[To get back on track, the situation visible from Fuguki Suikazan is something that Kisame, a lowly worker, can't fully understand.]

[Kisame's situation has always been controlled by his superiors. That mission to kill his comrades left him numb, making his entire adolescence a period of confusion.]

[But to be fair, anyone who went through Kisame's experiences would likely be just as numb.]

[After Kisame betrayed Fuguki Suikazan, he was once worried that he might end up like how the Mizukage dealt with him.]

[That was until Uchiha Obito appeared, using Uchiha Madara's reputation to recruit Kisame and revealing the "Eye of the Moon" plan, which promised a world of happiness for everyone.]

"Eye of the Moon"? What kind of plan is that? Rin, did Obito ever tell you about this?

"Reporting To the Fifth Hokage, no, Obito never mentioned the Eye of the Moon plan to me."

"I see. Well, if Obito comes to find you again, you should try to ask him about it. I don't know why, but I have a bad feeling about this 'Eye of the Moon' plan."

Through speculating on the Chibaku Tensei Jutsu, Jiraiya and the Third Hokage, along with others, expanded their thoughts and guessed that something must be sealed on the moon.

Now hearing about the "Eye of the Moon" plan, it only fueled Jiraiya's suspicions.

The word "moon" obviously refers to the moon.

Jiraiya wondered, Is Obito trying to break the seal on the moon?

"I hope my guess is wrong."

"The 'Eye of the Moon' plan? What is Obito trying to do with the moon?"

In the office of Tobirama, the others were also speculating about what the plan was really about.

Unlike Jiraiya's guess that Obito was trying to break the seal on the moon, they had their own theories.

Senju Tobirama leaned more toward the idea that Obito wanted to do something with the moon.

However, since there was insufficient information, he didn't want to make random guesses.

Considering Akatsuki's goal of capturing all Nine Tailed Beasts, Tobirama could only guess that Obito wanted to seal all Nine Tailed Beasts on the moon.

If there were no more threats from the Tailed Beasts in the ninja world, maybe it would be a more peaceful place?

If that were the case, wouldn't Obito be doing a good thing?

But, then again, the Obito in the light screen had turned dark—could he really be doing something good?

Tobirama felt it was unlikely.

So, this guess was probably not reliable.

"With insufficient information, you shouldn't make wild guesses. If you really want to know what the 'Eye of the Moon' plan is, it'd be better to have the Third Hokage personally ask Obito."

"Teacher, what you're saying makes sense. Since it's Obito's plan, asking him directly is always the best approach."

"But we don't know if Obito will even talk."

"I think it's a bit difficult. He still has strong defenses against Konoha, and getting him to accept or return to Konoha anytime soon seems unrealistic."

"If he doesn't talk, it's fine. After all, with the light screen, it's only a matter of time before we know the things he doesn't want others to know."
