Sasuke didn't know that Orochimaru had only added fragments of his own soul into the Heaven and Earth Curse Marks, such as those on Sasuke, Kimimaro, and Anko. 

However, for people like Jirobo and Tayuya, he didn't place any of his soul fragments in their curse marks.
