Chapter 505: Chapter 505: Sanada Chamber of Commerce’s Problem!
Prime Minister Sanada shared his thoughts with Reiki.
"What you said makes sense," Reiki acknowledged. "However, the most important thing right now isn't just about pride or self-esteem. You are not only the president of a chamber of commerce but also the head of the economic department for the entire Rouran Kingdom. Plus, when I take action, I bear the weight of the entire ninja world."
Reiki agreed with Sanada's perspective but stood with his hands at his sides, exuding confidence rather than hesitation.
"The ninja world?" Sanada repeated. "Reiki, with your talent, strength, and fame, there's no need to rush. Besides, if we aim to dominate the entire ninja world, the five great nations will never agree."
Sanada voiced his concerns. Initially, when Reiki contacted him about expanding the Sanada Chamber of Commerce's business model, he had his doubts. However, Reiki's contributions were unparalleled. Using resources provided by Reiki, Sanada had expanded the chamber's reach across the entire ninja world. Their exclusive potions even garnered respect and favor from dignitaries of major nations.
Despite the chamber's growing influence—rivaling that of ninja villages—Sanada worried Reiki was moving too quickly.
"What are you talking about?" Reiki responded firmly. "Chairman Sanada, when I say I carry the ninja world on my back, it's not in the way you think. Secondly, I have no intention of controlling the ninja world."
Sanada hesitated but nodded. "Reiki, your vision is vast, but I hope you won't become the kind of person who forces us onto opposing sides."
Reiki clarified his plans and learned more about the power Sanada had amassed. After the meeting, he departed for the special training camp, confident that his next steps awaited him there.
Meanwhile, Okita Mi, Sanada's deputy, voiced concerns to the Prime Minister.
"Sir, the individuals we had arrangements with are starting to question our plans. Should we continue?"
Sanada waved dismissively. "Stick to the previous plan. Even if Reiki doesn't share our ambitions, our actions won't negatively affect him. They'll only further our chamber's growth and establish our path."
Okita hesitated but eventually agreed. "Understood."
Sanada, however, couldn't relax. He knew the risks but felt bound by his choices. Turning back now would mean abandoning years of effort, a thought he found unbearable. He needed time—to reconcile his decisions or commit to his chosen path.
On Reiki's end, after bidding farewell to Nawaki and Sara, he headed toward the special training camp. Along the way, Black Zetsu appeared, shadowing him.
"Roy, don't you sense something is amiss?" Black Zetsu asked, hesitating.
Reiki stopped. "What exactly are you talking about?"
Black Zetsu elaborated. "Prime Minister Sanada seems to be making moves to dominate the ninja world. He's infiltrating the five great nations, believing that's your ultimate goal in promoting the Ninja Alliance. From what I've gathered, Sanada might already be walking this path. Doesn't this concern you?"
Reiki listened calmly. "Prime Minister Sanada, dominating the ninja world?" He shrugged. "I understand. Let's move on."
Black Zetsu clung to Reiki's arm, incredulous. "You're not even curious?!"
"Curiosity over such matters would only distract me," Reiki replied. "Right now, I have more pressing concerns. Let him do what he thinks is right; I can't impose my will on everyone. Besides, there are limits to what he can achieve."
Black Zetsu's eyes narrowed. "Did you already anticipate this? What measures have you put in place?"
Reiki smirked but didn't elaborate. By the time Black Zetsu finished his questioning, Reiki had arrived at the special training camp.
"Alright, Black Zetsu," Reiki said, dismissing him. "Focus on your task—convincing your mother. It would be beneficial if Lady Kaguya Otsutsuki joined this special training."
Without waiting for a response, Reiki walked off to find Tsunade, eager to share his latest surprise.
As Reiki left, Black Zetsu stared after him, stunned, before sinking into the ground and vanishing.
