"Chief Chiluo," Reiki greeted cheerfully, observing the clan members training rigorously. "How are the clan members faring lately?"

"Reiki-sama?" Chi Luoluo exclaimed, surprised. "Didn't you mention you wouldn't be back for a while?"

He looked at Reiki with genuine gratitude. In his eyes, without Reiki, he would still be a puppet, powerless and manipulated. Addressing Reiki as "sama" was an acknowledgment of the life-changing impact he had made.

"Training's been accelerated," Reiki replied. "The special training camp exceeded expectations, so I came earlier than planned. I need to know how much combat power your clan can contribute now."

Chi Luoluo hesitated before answering. "Most of us can fight. But against equally skilled ninjas, controlling our power perfectly might still be an issue. You know what could happen if things spiral out of control…"

His caution was evident, though his desire to contribute was just as clear.

"Let's test it," Reiki said, his tone shifting to one of authority. A powerful aura enveloped him as his Sage Chakra surged, affecting the natural energy around them. The Chiluo clan members, who had been training, instinctively reacted as the natural energy within them began to surface.

"This is the method you've been developing to control natural energy?" Reiki asked curiously, observing the changes in their bodies. "An incomplete form of Sage Mode?"

Generally, when natural energy was mishandled, it would corrupt the user, turning them into monstrous red beings. However, the Chiluo clan's approach seemed to be stabilizing the energy in an unusual way, showing early signs of mastery.

"It's not perfect," Chi Luoluo admitted. "But it's the best we can do with the medicine you provided. It's enough to prolong our lives and give us some control over our power."

Reiki nodded, impressed. "Good progress."

Just then, Orochimaru emerged from the shadows, his eyes gleaming with interest. "With the support of your medicine, this method has potential. I can refine it further, but I'll need a few volunteers from the Chiluo clan for experimentation. We must determine the optimal Curse Seal configuration."

Chi Luoluo turned to his people. Before he could speak, three young clan members—Chi Luo Qingyan, Chi Luo Shangping, and Chi Luo Wenxi—stepped forward.

"Me too!"

Just as Orochimaru departed, Kakuzu arrived with members of the Kara Organization. Seeing his familiar face, Reiki raised an eyebrow.

"Just you guys?" Reiki asked, clearly displeased.

"Well…" Kakuzu began awkwardly. "We haven't found suitable candidates. The organization has standards, right?"

Reiki's eyes narrowed. "You're just worried new recruits will cut into your profits, aren't you?"

"Wha—!?" Kakuzu stammered, caught off guard. "No! Absolutely not! Chief, you can't just accuse me like that!"

Reiki smirked. "Fine. Let's motivate you, then. For every new recruit you bring to me for approval, I'll pay you 50 million ryo. Other terms remain unchanged. How's that sound?"

Before Reiki could finish, Kakuzu was already gone.

"He probably has someone in mind already," said Chana, one of the Kara Organization members, suppressing a laugh.

Reiki shook his head, amused. "Let's proceed with the plan. The Hunting Operation starts now."

"Understood." Chana's eyes sparkled with anticipation. "Let me see the bounty list. It's been too long since the last hunt."

Reiki handed her the list, his expression calm yet determined. As the team prepared to launch their next move, the winds of change blew through the region.

In the distance, the fortified walls of Loulan Kingdom loomed—a testament to the changes that had already taken place. The hunt had begun.
