Naruto: You Call This A Medical Ninja?

Chapter 501: Chapter 501: It’s Not Me, It’s Black Zetsu’s Hand!

One by one, geniuses joined the battle.

"Tsunade, Reiki moved fast enough!"

"This setup came not long after he left."

"Moreover, these ninjas are highly skilled in combat."

"As training opponents, they're pretty good," Jiraiya commented with a smile as he observed the battlefield.

The strength of these ninjas was at least at the level of special Jōnin. Their unique combat methods made Jiraiya's eyes light up—it was a refreshing approach, providing the young prodigies with worthy adversaries.

"True," Orochimaru nodded. "But these individuals don't seem to be the hired ninjas Reiki mentioned. Their numbers are too great, and their tactics too organized. This isn't the work of freelancers; this is a coordinated, well-trained force."

At that moment, Yashamaru rushed over, his face tense.

"Tsunade-sama, hurry! The medical ninjas are overwhelmed. There are too many injuries, and we're running out of potions!"

"What? How is that possible? Didn't Reiki leave enough supplies?" Tsunade frowned as she moved quickly toward the medical team.

"They've already used most of the potions during the battles. The reserves are running dangerously low," Yashamaru explained.

"Is this Reiki's idea of a special training exercise? Isn't this pushing it too far?"

Jiraiya and Orochimaru exchanged serious glances.

"Orochimaru, we should step in," Jiraiya said. "If this escalates any further, the consequences could be severe."

Without hesitation, Orochimaru dashed toward the battlefield. They couldn't risk the safety of the young trainees just to validate a hunch. With the instructors joining the fray, the tide of battle shifted.

The once-arrogant trainees quickly realized the gravity of the situation. In this camp, the word "genius" was commonplace. Yet, even prodigies faced overwhelming odds against relentless and coordinated enemies.

The fighting raged for three days. Finally, on the fourth day, the attackers retreated, leaving devastation in their wake. The special training camp lay in ruins, with the trainees and instructors alike physically and mentally drained.

Tsunade stood amidst the destruction, her expression troubled.

"This battle... even with the combined power of the five great ninja villages, the cost was staggering. And the most unsettling part is how none of them were captured alive. Those who were captured either escaped or self-destructed using secret techniques. This enemy is terrifying."

"Tsunade, have you managed to contact Reiki yet?" Jiraiya asked, concern evident in his voice.

"No," she admitted, "but I trust him. What about the report to the Hokage? Any updates?"

Jiraiya shook his head. "Nothing yet. These attackers seem to have appeared out of nowhere. But... the members of Konoha's special training camp have vanished."

"Vanished? What do you mean?" Tsunade demanded.

"They weren't killed," Jiraiya explained. "They were never here. They were just shadow clones."

"Shadow clones?!" Tsunade's eyes widened as the realization dawned on her. A smirk spread across her face. "Reiki... that brat."

Jiraiya chuckled. "It seems he planned this whole thing. He even tricked us into playing along. The results speak for themselves, though."

Tsunade nodded. "I'll contact him. Jiraiya, handle things here with Orochimaru. Gather the medical team and assess the casualties—though I suspect the death toll will be zero."

With that, she disappeared, leaving Jiraiya to explain everything to the other villages.

Meanwhile, Reiki and his team had successfully escaped the encirclement. They now stood outside the ruins of the Rouran Kingdom, near Yucun Village.

"Reiki, are you sure we don't need to worry about the special training camp?" Shisui asked, his voice tinged with concern. "Something feels off."

"The battle's already over. The teacher just sent word," Reiki replied with a grin. "Our special training exercise is complete."

He snapped his fingers, and Black Zetsu emerged from the ground.

"The ones we fought earlier were manipulated by Black Zetsu," Reiki explained, scratching his head sheepishly. "And the ninjas? Those were shadow clones from Konoha's special training camp—Hatake Kakashi and the others."

"What?!" Shisui and Nozuki exclaimed in unison, utterly dumbfounded.

Reiki chuckled, the mischievous glint in his eyes unmistakable.
