Chapter 383: ### Chapter 383: My Major!
Orochimaru's words surprisingly eased Tsunade's worries. She realized that, under the current circumstances, his logic made sense—it was the best course of action.
"Alright, I'll take my leave," Orochimaru said. "Danzo still needs my assistance, so I'll refrain from contacting you for the time being." He then turned to Reiki. "Check my body and prepare the necessary potions. I've brought the payment."
Orochimaru had initially come for the potions, but upon noticing Tsunade's somber mood, he decided to share his thoughts.
"Understood," Reiki replied. He meticulously adjusted Orochimaru's condition and prepared a set of basic and life-saving potions, handing them over.
"I'm off," Orochimaru said after paying, disappearing into the night.
Reiki counted the money, stashing it away, but a sudden chill ran down his spine as he noticed Tsunade's stern gaze.
"Teacher..." Reiki hesitated, quickly taking out the money. "Do you... want some of this?"
Tsunade rolled her eyes. "What would I want from you?! Reiki, are you short on money?"
Reiki nodded sheepishly. "A little... I've been saving to buy a village, but I'm not sure how much it'll cost yet."
"A village?" Tsunade blinked, startled. "Why on earth do you want to buy a village? Are you planning to leave Konoha and start your own?"
Reiki quickly shook his head. "No, no, it's not that. It's something I promised Queen Sara of Rouran. When I entered the fairyland, it was thanks to her assistance. Plus, the dragon veins in Rouran were sealed by Konoha ninjas. We bear some responsibility for their future."
He continued, "I'm looking at a small village called Yucun, near the border of the Land of Fire and the Land of Rivers. It has fewer than 100 residents, the terrain is flat, and it's suitable for building a temporary city. Resources are scarce, but it's manageable."
Tsunade listened carefully, her initial confusion giving way to understanding. "So, this is to fulfill your promise to Rouran's queen."
Reiki nodded. "Exactly."
Tsunade sighed in relief. "Alright. Leave it to me. I have connections with the daimyo. His wife still requires treatment for a condition I couldn't fully cure before. I'll be heading there next month. You can come with me and discuss this request while we're there."
"Thank you, Teacher," Reiki said with a smile.
Tsunade shook her head with a faint grin. "You always think about the most complicated things. Go take a rest now."
"I'm heading to the hospital!" Reiki declared, waving before running off.
"This guy... always prioritizes his medical duties," Tsunade muttered, half-amused, before returning to her house.

After leaving the small hospital, Reiki made his way to the orphanage.
"Boss Reiki!" a familiar voice called out as Ma Chuan and several others gathered around him. They had recently returned from missions and were taking a brief respite in the village.
"In the near future, report to the hospital," Reiki instructed. "Stay there and rest. Here, take these—body-enhancing potions and poisons. The poisons won't harm your bodies but will disrupt your chakra flow. Under no circumstances are you to participate in the upcoming battle!"
"Battle?!" Hanyu Azawa asked, confused. "Boss, what battle?"
Reiki sighed. "It's a struggle among Konoha's higher-ups. Trust me, you don't want to be involved in this mess."
Azawa and the others exchanged uneasy glances. "Yeah, we'd just end up as cannon fodder," one of them admitted. "But how do we get into the hospital when we're perfectly fine?"
"Isn't it obvious?" Reiki asked with a sly grin. "Have you forgotten my specialty?"
"Your specialty?" Azawa echoed, confused.
"Medical ninjutsu," Reiki said before launching a quick attack.
*Bang, bang, bang!*
Before anyone could react, the six of them were incapacitated, sprawled on the ground and unable to move.
"See? Now you have a valid reason to be in the hospital," Reiki quipped. "You're lucky I'm a medical ninja." Without waiting for a response, he disappeared, leaving the six groaning on the ground as other orphanage residents scrambled to get them to the hospital.

Reiki's next stop was the Hyuga clan. Although Tsunade had already visited them, Reiki wanted to make an appearance as her disciple and provide assistance. He then spent the rest of the day delivering potions to various clans.
However, when it came to the Sarutobi, Shimura, Mito, and Tenjin clans, Reiki opted to leave the preparations to them. "They have plenty of resources," he muttered to himself. "Let them handle it."
As he moved between households, preparing for the inevitable conflict, Reiki couldn't help but feel the tension mounting. The storm brewing in Konoha was about to unleash, and everyone would have a role to play—whether they wanted to or not.
