"Kiyoshi. Next time, I'll definitely defeat you." 

Not long after— 

On the desolate surface of the Land of Whirlpools. 

Tsunade, Shizune, and Karin waved goodbye to Kiyoshi. 

"Goodbye. I'll come find you as soon as I'm done here." Kiyoshi replied with a smile. 

"Thud…thud..." 

Shortly after— 

A wooden helicopter, crafted by Tsunade using Wood Style, carried the three into the distance, while Kiyoshi watched them depart. 

Then, he returned to the hidden chamber of the Uzumaki Clan's underground sanctuary. 

Gazing at the shelves filled with scrolls, he took a deep breath and brought his fingers together in a seal. 

"Multiple Wood Clone Jutsu." 

In an instant, over a hundred Wood Clones appeared, almost filling the not-so-spacious room packed with books and scrolls. 

"Alright, everyone, your task is to read through all the sealing jutsu scrolls here, master each one, and fully understand their mechanics," Kiyoshi commanded, observing his clones. 

"Every half hour, gather to share your insights." 

With the power of his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, Kiyoshi's spiritual energy had soared, making such information gathering and mental fatigue nearly negligible. 

With the growth of his Shared Training Mode, his efficiency in this area was significantly enhanced, especially when combined with Sage Mode, which further amplified his powers. 

This Sage Chakra kept him invigorated, eliminating mental exhaustion entirely. 

As for physical strain, with his Perfect Sage Body or more specifically, the Perfect Yang Release powers, Kiyoshi could ignore it altogether thanks to his unique Wood-Wood Fruit abilities. 

Meanwhile, Kiyoshi's true self didn't remain idle, diving into the study of the Uzumaki Clan's sealing techniques.

Time passed swiftly. In the chamber, the vast library of scrolls was combed through by his clones. 

Scrolls that had been studied were sorted, organized, and sealed within storage scrolls. 

Thanks to his powerful Shared Training Mode, Kiyoshi fully absorbed the Uzumaki Clan's generations of knowledge and legacy in less than three days. 

He didn't just memorize the techniques but fully grasped them, converting every last sealing jutsu, forbidden art, and accumulated technique into part of his own repertoire. 

"Hah...finally, I can begin." 

Shutting off Sage Mode, Kiyoshi, his mind now processing the last wave of information, smiled lightly.

No more of the exhaustion and struggle he had felt two years ago in Konoha, studying Genjutsu at home. 

For three solid days, Kiyoshi's main body maintained a basic schedule of three meals and normal rest, feeling quite relaxed. In contrast, his Wood Clones worked tirelessly, 24/7. 

It was as if he were a human-tailed beast. Or more precisely, the sapling of the God Tree combined with the potential of a young Otsutsuki. 

The chakra dispersed among his clones was quickly replenished, achieving an efficiency beyond the imagination of ordinary people. 

"Swish..." 

Looking around the now-empty chamber, Kiyoshi activated the Flying Thunder God Technique and vanished in an instant.

Deep within the Land of Fire, at the Root Base hidden beneath Konoha— 

"Lord Kiyoshi." 

Shortly after Kiyoshi's arrival, Danzo and his subordinates, including Tatsuma, rushed over. 

"The person I asked you to track down—did you find him?" Kiyoshi asked Danzo directly, skipping any formalities. 

Kiyoshi had no intention of tolerating Danzo for anything beyond his usefulness. 

To Kiyoshi, Danzo had always been a mere tool. 

If Kiyoshi hadn't been powerful enough, Danzo would have likely controlled him with Kotoamatsukami long ago. 

Expect Kiyoshi to forgive and forget? No chance. 

He couldn't care less whether Danzo's intentions were good or bad. For now, Danzo was only useful. Once that value faded, he would no longer be of use to him.

Kiyoshi was even considering, at an opportune moment, having Danzo take the blame and clear out all internal obstacles within Konoha, making way for Tsunade to take her place as the Fifth Hokage. 

"We've already captured him. It turns out he was indeed a remnant of the Land of Sky." Danzo nodded, somewhat impressed. 

"Who would have thought he'd possess secret techniques for bodily regeneration and revitalization? He nearly escaped." 

"Fortunately, we had the Second Tsuchikage with us." 

Before leaving, Kiyoshi had instructed Danzo to locate someone named Shinno within Konoha and retrieve his secrets of bodily regeneration and revitalization. 

Kiyoshi remembered clearly that this man had used these techniques with the Eight Gates, allowing him to open all gates without harming himself. 

Though not very powerful and with certain limitations, the technique held considerable value. 

"Interestingly, we discovered that his creation, the Zero-Tails, can combine perfectly with the 'Nue' creature," Mu remarked, crossing his arms. 

"In a year or two, our project should be complete." 

"Good. That's what I wanted to hear," Kiyoshi replied with satisfaction. 

This was precisely the purpose of Root's existence—to efficiently handle such matters without him lifting a finger. 

Unlike the Seventh Hokage, Naruto, who had worn himself out with Shadow Clones, sacrificing personal life and family time for Konoha. 

Such a life held no appeal for Kiyoshi. 

"Lord Kiyoshi, here is the scroll with the forbidden techniques for bodily regeneration and revitalization." 

Danzo respectfully handed the scroll to Kiyoshi. 

"Additionally, after interrogating him with the Sharingan." Tatsuma adjusted his sunglasses and added.

"We raided the Sky shinobi's base, retrieved their technological advances, and are now researching improved flight devices and related scientific tools." 

"All Sky shinobis remnants have been sealed away, so there's no shortage of experimental subjects." 

Kiyoshi valued Tatsuma's efficiency. Although not as strong as Danzo, Tatsuma's competence in executing tasks was remarkable.

Training someone to reach Kage level wouldn't be difficult, especially given Tatsuma's existing high-level Jonin skills. 

Kiyoshi had already ordered Danzo to gradually transfer Root's authority over the next few years. 

Now, Tatsuma was undeniably Root's second-in-command and would succeed Danzo as leader one day. 

"Hmm, well done." 

Glancing through the forbidden scroll that Danzo handed over, Kiyoshi nodded in satisfaction. 

He had promised Tsunade that he wouldn't turn into another Orochimaru, but taking a page from the Second Hokage and using enemies as test subjects seemed perfectly reasonable.

Using the Sky shinobis as experimental fodder—Kiyoshi had no qualms about it. 

Plus, the Land of Sky's technologies weren't half bad. With Tsunade as the Fifth Hokage, Kiyoshi could consider implementing new tech upgrades within Konoha. 

"Oh, and Lord Kiyoshi, during the operation, we captured a girl named Amaru. She seems to have Uzumaki blood." 

Knowing that Kiyoshi cared about those with Uzumaki lineage, Tatsuma hesitated before adding.

"After interrogating Shinno, it seems he intended to seal the Zero-Tails into her body. Should we keep her here?" 

"Uzumaki Amaru?" 

Kiyoshi raised an eyebrow, examining the photo Tatsuma handed him. 

It was of a young girl, around eight or nine, with red hair and a healthy tan. Her expression was bright and lively. 

"Leave her to me." He recalled her vaguely as a charming girl with a strong spirit. 

Since she was an Uzumaki, it would be best for Keiko to take her in. She could be nurtured within the village, adding to their strength. 

Occasionally, raising someone with potential could be enjoyable.
