Chapter 152: Chapter 152: Farewell Hugs
Time flew by.
Several more days passed.
It had been nearly ten days since Kiyoshi brought Karin back to the village.
The break Tsunade granted them was about to come to an end.
At the gates of Konoha—
"Mom, take care, okay? I'm heading back to Lady Tsunade for more training."
Karin clung to her mother, her eyes brimming with tears and reluctance.
"Then... goodbye, Kurenai-nee, Anko-nee."
Kiyoshi smiled at Kurenai and Anko, who had come to see him off.
"Take care, Kiyoshi."
"Hehe, don't worry, I'll be here waiting for you." Anko said, a teasing grin on her face as she and Kurenai hugged Kiyoshi.
Though a bit reluctant to part, neither of them tried to stop him.
"I'll be back."
Kiyoshi hugged them, drawing envious looks from people around them.
After all, thanks to Kiyoshi's skillful use of spiritual healing techniques and advanced medical jutsu, Kurenai and Anko now looked like they were only eighteen, their skin flawless, fair, and glowing.
Yet their demeanor carried the allure of mature women, a charm impossible to resist.
Despite his boyish looks people assumed it was just a close sibling bond between him and the two women.
If they knew the truth about his relationships with Kurenai and Anko, their jaws would drop, and many Konoha men would want to kill Kiyoshi on the spot.
"Return quickly, Kiyoshi."
Bold as ever, Anko leaned in close, whispering into his ear, "When you return…. a little 'three-way' action wouldn't be a problem."
"Anko!" Kurenai blushed fiercely, giving Anko a mortified glare.
No matter how much Kurenai tried to guard her relationship with Kiyoshi, it had gone as she feared.
After claiming the first spot, Anko took advantage of a moment of inattention, brazenly drawing Kiyoshi into her embrace, sealing their connection.
Fortunately, Kurenai had been one step ahead, and at least, Kiyoshi had shared their first time together.
Over these past few days, their life together had turned exactly as Anko had hinted in jest.
On odd days, Kiyoshi was with Kurenai, on even days, he was with Anko.
Besides their training in the Forest of Death, their nights in Kurenai's house had evolved in ways Kurenai could never have imagined.
"What are you worried about? You know his stamina. I really can't keep up if this continues." Anko shot Kurenai with a sideways glance.
After finally stealing a night with Kiyoshi, Anko had discovered just how overwhelming his strength was. Despite the thrill, it was daunting.
Kurenai's face turned redder as she recalled her own moments with Kiyoshi, realizing that she, too, had grown addicted to his presence.
Though he held back for her sake, even then, his intensity was nearly too much for her alone.
One day, she might have no choice but to let Anko in on their shared time with Kiyoshi.
If it was with Anko, at least they understood each other. Though. she hesitated, wondering if it really was such a bad idea.
"Kurenai."
Kiyoshi's gaze softened as he looked at her, his eyes filled with hope.
"Kiyoshi." Feeling a pang of sadness, Kurenai's heart softened.
With a blush, she whispered, "Alright. I'll be waiting for you."
"Then it's settled. I'll be back soon." Kiyoshi's eyes lit up, and he gave each woman a heartfelt kiss.
Anko took it in stride, her usual bold self.
But Kiyoshi always respected Kurenai, never forcing her, knowing her more reserved nature. So, winning her agreement for the future had been an achievement.
"Kiyoshi."
From afar, Ino came running over, followed closely by Tenten and Hinata.
Just yesterday, Kiyoshi had invited the three girls for a farewell dinner, taking the opportunity to officially welcome Hinata into his circle of close friends.
Ino had, of course, thrown a small fit about gaining yet another "rival," but after some sweet-talking from Kiyoshi, her jealousy quickly faded.
"Hmph." Nearby, Karin glanced over, noticing Ino, Tenten, and Hinata, and her brow twitched.
"Kiyoshi is such a hopeless flirt,"she muttered, pouting.
"Mind your manners. You should call me Senpai," Kiyoshi chided playfully.
Keiko, smiling softly, advised Karin, "Now, don't be rude and get along well with Kiyoshi."
Watching Kiyoshi and Anko, Keiko had always found their closeness a bit peculiar. While she brushed it off as sibling affection, it seemed... a bit much.
"I don't want to." Karin pulled a face at Kiyoshi.
Ignoring her, Kiyoshi turned and caught Ino, who jumped into his arms, clinging to him like an octopus.
"Hey, Ino, you need to be more composed," he said, slightly exasperated.
"I don't care. It's going to be ages before I see you again." Ino hugged him tightly, her eyes glistening, before planting kisses all over his face.
"Let go of him already, you're making a scene." Karin fumed, glaring as jealousy flared in her eyes. If it weren't for her mom being nearby, she might have lost her temper entirely.
"Kiyoshi…."
Standing there shyly, Hinata blushed, twiddling her fingers as she called out to him.
Despite growing more confident in the outside world, she was still just as bashful with Kiyoshi as when they first met.
"Kiyoshi, be safe out there." Tenten said with a supportive smile, though her eyes betrayed her reluctance to part with him.
Seeing the display, Anko and Kurenai shared a knowing look and nodded in silent agreement.
These young girls were their "rivals," after all.
And with Kiyoshi's impeccable taste, it was obvious that each of them would grow into beautiful women who would rival their own beauty—only younger.
There was no choice. They'd have to form an alliance.
