entering the training ground, the first thing I saw was a young kid, with typical Uchiha attire. 

Black half T-shirt with a Uchiha logo pasted on it. 

I could see his ninja tools. they were packed to the brim however carefully enough so they don't fall out in between a fight.

" That's a good quality to have Shisui ". the young kid looked suprised as I shun shined in the middle of training ground. 

" hello there mister and what do you mean ". I could see his muscles first contracting then relaxing after identifying me as a friend.

" The way you handle your weapons is what separates clumsiness with carefull-ness" I pointed at his ninja pack to be direct. 

I smiled looking at him and said ," well, I think, I am ready for our spar". 

he nodded at that and I continued, " the rules are simple, none for you, you can come at me with all you got " I paused and after a second continued, " me on the other hand, will limit myself to sword skills". 

" of course no killing or maiming ".

he looked serious, " yes sir ". 

" so let's start? ". I asked Shisui. 

he suddenly started fidgeting a bit," mister , actually , before we fight, I haven't asked for your name yet". 

I half smiled, " Kagami Hatake ". 

I could see him muttering Something before speaking up ," Kagami was my grandfather sir ". 

I nodded at him," I have heard of him, disciple of the second Hokage, He was one of the strongest ninjas of his time ". 

he looked at me seriously and said, " I will take this spar seriously now mr Kagami". 

I nodded and unsheathed my sword. 

next moment he rushed at me with his kunai. 

' A Taijutsu spar '. 

I could see his intentions from a mile away.

metals clashed and soon four sets of slashes came at me from different directions. 

however a simple parry and step back was enough to dodge them. 

The moment of stepping back, Shisui threw his Kunai's at me and started knitting hand signs. 

the very next a huge fireball started making its way towards me.

' Impressive '.

I quickly shun shined out of the way...I saw him standing ungaurded and shunshined behind him.

' maybe I expected too much from a academy graduate '.

seeing his exposed back, I stopped my sword at his neck.

however next second I realised it's a clone and stopped a kunai aimed at my neck. 

' Such impressive clone jutsu, he even made the shadow '.

shisui was good, with a little bit of experience and chakra flow technique, he could very well reach my level of power pretty quickly.

' however for this instance, he is too weak '. 

our weapons clashed and my display of strength was clear. 

I was almost a decade older than him, naturally, he could barely handle the weight I pushed behind my sword. 

seeing his Kunai coming at me, I quickly parried it and back kicked him into a tree. 

" urgh " saliva spew out of his mouth and I could see him barely standing. 

' I went too hard '. 

he however stood up through the pain and started knitting hand signs at me and I let him. 

Fire style phoenix flame jutsu.

A c-ranked jutsu that acted as small fire bullets covering a large area. 

' Good, I can only shunshin back right now '. 

he was buying himself some time, however measly fire such as this could barely stop me.

instead of moving backwards,I ran forwards.

slipping below the fireball, I slipped through the open surface. 

Shisui looked panicked for the first time in our fight.

shun shin no jutsu .

I could see him making signs for the substitution jutsu.

' too late '. 

my sword was already at his neck by the time he even brought his hands upwards. 

" I lost " he looked dejected for a second, " However, thank you for the spar mr Kagami ". 

I put my sword back and ruffled his hair, " Your so young kid, barely look a day over seven , you have a lot of time to grow ". 

he nodded and visibly relaxed, " how do you use shun shin in a fight like that?".

' Already curious about the shun shin , aren't you '. 

I sat down beside him and patted the ground next to me ,signalling him to sit as well. 

" well, I started learning Shun shin jutsu just like everybody does, for a quick movement however everybody told me, it had no place in a fight".

I paused for a second and continued, " However if you increase your control over the shun shin, you can control where you land " 

I looked at him pointed with my hands , " so when a fire ball comes at me, rather than making a earth wall and spend chakra, I just dodge the damn thing ". 

" what doesn't hit me , doesn't affect me, plus most genins relax after casting their jutsu subconsciously, that's when I attack ". 

" but isn't it dangerous mister, if the opponent can predict your destination, you will die ". 

I nodded at him," It's risky, however it's not the jutsu it's the caster, I usually land in unusual places ". 

he smiled at that. 

I stood up and told him , " if you ever have any doubts about swordmanship or infact anything, you can come up to me, My house is pretty conspicuous in the Hatake land ". 

" I will do my physical excerisizes now, want to join me ?". 

" sure, I am free right now ". 

we both slowly stood up, and I took the kid to the Hokage mountain. 

" Up and down till we tired, got that ".

he nodded excited, " winner gets to eat extra dumplings ". I added.

Soon we started climbing the mountain, seeing me take the harder route he also followed me.

the evening was a fun one, of course I won, but I still let Shisui eat the extra dumplings.

right now ,I was in my bed, " Tomorrow I will learn the other two moves of my Kata".
