Naruto: Uchiha Rejects Konoha

Everyone in the Third Hokage's generation was confused when they heard that Tsunade had become the Uchiha clan's chief medical consultant and was going to help the Uchiha form a medical team.

But when he heard that the Uchiha clan was willing to repay all of Tsunade's debts and offered her a monthly salary of thirty thousand ryō, he couldn't help but twitch the corner of his mouth.

In a one-to-many situation, Asuma naturally couldn't keep up and was pinned to the ground shortly after.

When he saw Kurenai Yuhi coming out of the police department's task room, a surge of enthusiasm immediately rushed to his head, and he challenged Yagami.

People thought it would be an exciting showdown, and many had come to watch, but as soon as Yagami released his powerful flame, everyone scattered in all directions in fear.

Asuma was stunned by the sight. Using the same jutsu, he had managed only a small fireball.

And what about Yagami's? The sky was blazing with flames. By comparison, Asuma's fireball looked like a tiny spark in Yagami's inferno.

"Tsk! You're already a Jōnin, yet you still lose focus in battle…"

Seeing Asuma frozen in place, Mingfeng was speechless. At least dodge, will you?

With no other choice, Yagami darted over to Asuma, grabbed him, and shoved him aside.

After all, he was the Hokage's son, and a lesson was enough. Killing him would only provoke the Third Hokage, and right now, with the clan's growth, unnecessary issues were best avoided.

The wave of fire roared past Asuma, crashing into the barrier set up by the police department and breaking through it without resistance.
