Naruto: Tobirama Reborn, Invincible in the Ninja World

As soon as the words left his mouth, Tobirama's figure vanished.

Yet, Konohagakure erupted into chaos like never before.

"Wait, are we seriously going to war with Sunagakure? Can we even win?"

"Of course we can! You saw it, didn't you? The Hokage captured their emissaries! That old man lying on the ground—he's Ebizō, Chiyo's brother! If even he was taken alive, there's no way this doesn't end in war. And as for victory? With Tobirama-sama on our side, there's no chance we'll lose to Sunagakure—a village whose Kazekage is already dead!"

"Yes… Yes! Finally… Brother, I can avenge you…"

"Let's go! Tell everyone at home—we're going to win this war!"

The heated discussions quickly transformed into an outpouring of loyalty and enthusiasm for the Hokage.

"Victory for Konoha! Long live the Hokage!"

"Victory for Konoha!"

"Victory!"

The fervor spread rapidly, and the shinobi of Konoha began rallying the village's morale.

Meanwhile, spies from various other villages hidden within Konoha were left in shock.

Konohagakure is really going to war!

The revelation was staggering, almost impossible to believe. Tobirama Senju had been resurrected for barely a month, yet here he was, already taking such decisive action. The spies scrambled to relay the news to their respective villages as fast as possible.

"Is this true?!"

Hiashi Hyūga slammed his hand on the table, rising abruptly as he glared at the kneeling branch family member before him.

"The Hokage is truly going to war with Sunagakure?"

"Yes, Clan Head," the kneeling Hyūga replied immediately. "The Hokage refused to negotiate with Sunagakure over the 'Konoha Crush' incident. Instead, he detained their emissaries and declared that Konoha will officially go to war with Sunagakure in three days."

"Good… Very good..."

Hiashi's fists clenched tightly, memories of his deceased brother, Hizashi, flashing through his mind. If Hiruzen Sarutobi had been as strong-willed as the Second Hokage when Kumogakure pressured them, the Hyūga clan might have avoided so much tragedy.

"Tobirama-sama…" Hiashi looked toward the Hokage Tower, his heart quietly acknowledging this resurrected Second Hokage.

The news of Konoha's declaration of war against Sunagakure spread across the entire shinobi world in less than a day.

Once again, the world was shaken.

Leaders of the other villages struggled to understand Tobirama's motives.

Why would the Second Hokage declare war on Sunagakure? Were their peace terms that unacceptable? Even if they were, couldn't they have continued negotiating?

A war like this could easily ignite the Fourth Great Ninja War.

Then again, it had been fifteen years since the Third Great Ninja War ended. Most villages had long since recovered, licking their wounds and rebuilding their strength. Aside from Kirigakure, which had been weakened by years of the Bloody Mist policy, every major village now boasted formidable power.

Still, no one was more anxious than Sunagakure itself.

"Damn it!"

The elderly Chiyo slammed her fist against the table, her face dark and stormy.

"My brother and five others have been captured by Konoha. According to reports, they've been detained by Tobirama Senju in Konoha's Interrogation Unit."

"Chiyo-sama," said an equally aged man with a cold tone, "I understand your concern, but this isn't a critical issue. Counsellor Ebizō may be your brother, but he only handles the village's finances. He doesn't have access to sensitive secrets. There's no need to worry about Konoha learning anything important."

"What we should be worrying about," he continued, "is the impending war with Konoha."

"Shut your mouth!" Chiyo snapped, glaring daggers at him. "I know the war is more important! I don't need you reminding me!"

She paused, her expression darkening further.

"Konoha's overall strength has always been greater than ours. On top of that, we recently lost both our Fourth Kazekage and the jinchūriki of the One-Tail. The Fifth Kazekage hasn't even been chosen yet! Fighting Konoha now puts us at a massive disadvantage!"

Another elder, his voice trembling slightly, added, "And there's more. According to reports from Iwagakure's Ōnoki, Tobirama Senju was revived through a forbidden technique he himself created: the Impure World Reincarnation. The technique grants those resurrected an immortal body. Unless a sealing jutsu is used, they can't be killed!"

"And he's also the creator of the Flying Thunder God Technique," the elder continued. "Imagine an immortal shinobi with the abilities of Minato Namikaze running wild on the battlefield. The consequences would be catastrophic!"

"We need to find a way to deal with Tobirama Senju," he concluded, looking around the room.

The Counsellors fell silent, their faces grim.

How could they possibly fight an immortal warrior with Kage-level strength and the ability to teleport across the battlefield at will?
