Feng was asking Orochimaru some questions about ninjutsus and the human body.

The downside of being Orochimaru's disciple is that it is very dangerous. The advantage however, was that Orochimaru is proficient in many techniques, and with his frequent experiments, his understanding and knowledge towards the human body cannot be surpassed by anyone.

His fight with Hidden Cloud during the Chunin examinations gave Feng some ideas about the creation of Chidori, but he failed in all of his attempts, this is why Feng decided to come to Orochimaru to ask for advice.

"...Changing the form of your Thunder Blade?"

Orochimaru was sitting on a stone chair. Hearing Feng's question, he raised his hand.

The Chakra that was gathered in his palm made crackling noises and quickly his hand was enveloped with arcs of lightning.

This is not ninjutsu, it was just pure chakra nature transformation.

Orochimaru's master was the Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, coupled with his own research on Ninjutsu and the human body and of course given his talent. It can be said that he was proficient in all nature transformations, Fire, Wind, Lightning, Water, Earth as well as both Yin and Yang Release.

The cell activation technique can be classified as Yang release, while spiritual and soul secret techniques belong to Yin release.

"The characteristics of Lightning attributes are towards 'Chaos' and 'paralysis', which is different from that of for example a Fire attribute which is more on 'violence'. The difference lies in..."

Orochimaru spread out his palms, allowing the lightning to interweave in between his fingers as he thought Feng the key points on Chakra natures.

Each type of Chakra nature has its own characteristic.

The 'violence' of Fire, the 'sharpness' of Wind, the 'hardness' of Earth, etc., the key to Lightning was 'condensation'.

Large-scale Lightning Release Ninjutsus are far less common than large-scale Fire and Wind Release Ninjutsus, and even those large-scale Thunder Release are used in a straight line.

Lightning releases use of weather is also another method.

He has been practicing Rasengan for some time now, and he was basing on controlling his chakra because of this, but now it counteracts on how he should properly use Lightning Release Ninjutsus.

"Hahaha...based on your question, it seems you wanted to create an even more powerful Lightning Release Ninjutsu that compliments your Hatake Swordsmanship?"

Feng Ye nodded and said: "Yes."

After he completed his training in the Cell Activation technique, he now resumed practicing his three major techniques.

In the past, he could only rely on his own and his own experimentations, but now that he has someone like Orochimaru who he can ask for guidance, of course it's naturally better than spending his time racking his brains for an answer.

Orochimaru turned to look at Feng.

Suddenly.

Orochimaru disappeared from where he's standing and appeared right next to Feng as he placed his hand on his shoulders then showed a slightly surprised look.

"In just over half a month, and the Cell Activation technique is already on this level?"

Orochimaru is very clear about the principle of practicing, one should be persistent and greedy. For geniuses, practicing several types of jutsus at the same time is normal, as long as they're interconnected and related with one another. However, the Cell Activation technique and Lightning Release, are both entirely on different directions.

In just half a month, Feng came to ask about the difference between Chakra natures which got Orochimaru to think that Feng should've lost his focus. However after he placed his hand on Feng's shoulder and did an investigation on his body. He found that the cells on Feng's body had already been activated at a very high level.

But, Orochimaru was not the only one that was shocked. The moment Orochimaru appeared beside him, Feng was also startled.

'That speed…'

'It's probably faster even if I opened the First Gate, and this for sure is not Orochimaru's limit.'

'Sigh! Sure enough, there's still a huge gap between me and this kind of existences... Even though I've already opened up to the Third Gate, I still shouldn't be carefree.'

Several thoughts flashed in Feng's mind but he still kept his composure and responded: "Well, this technique is not that difficult to practice… and I remember that teacher, you said that the key to this technique is to carefully monitor my progress, right?"

Orochimaru stared at Feng with approval, and said.

Feng didn't know whether this "not bad" refers to his answer or to his achievement on the Cell Activation technique.

"Now that you've reached this level, you can now learn some of my techniques, however my techniques might be in conflict with your Hatake Swordsmanship so nevermind that."

Hatake swordsmanship is known for its rigor and also for its speed and lethality. Totally contradicting his style of flexibility. Making Feng train on his Soft Physique Modification will give him no positive effects, on the contrary, he might suffer some negative setbacks in the future with it.

Feng knew this too.

Orochimaru thought and said: "Everything's fine with your practice, but if you still have some questions, you can just ask me."

Feng looked at Orochimaru and asked: "...Teacher, can I teach my brother the Cell Activation technique?"

"No problem."

Orochimaru chuckled slightly as he looked at Feng with his snake eyes, a gleam of light flashed, and said: "It's normal to take care of your brother, but your brother doesn't have ambitions such as yours . He might go and choose an entirely different path.

His sentence made the atmosphere suddenly strange.
