Naruto : The ultimate Troublemaker

Chapter 136: Kamui !

Shikai's shadow stretched like a viper, seeking to immobilize Jura. But Jura, thanks to his body scintillation and Raiton affinity, dodged with almost inhuman speed.

— "You're fast, but I'm faster," Jura taunted before reappearing behind Shikai.

He attempted a direct blow with a wind blade formed from Futon chakra, but Shikai turned around just in time, creating an electric shield around his arm.

The battle became a game of wits. Shikai, more tactical, exploited every opening and terrain, while Jura, more instinctive, relied on his phenomenal speed and brute strength.

Shikai, his eyes narrowed in anticipation, projected a finely engraved kunai with his personal teleportation seal. The blade, obsidian black, sliced through the air with deadly elegance, leaving a faint trail of azure chakra. He hoped to catch Jura by surprise, but Jura, like a mirage, vanished in a yellow-black flash. The Hiraishin, perfectly mastered, propelled him directly above Shikai, a predator dominating its prey.

— "Katon: Burning Ash Rain!" Jura roared, his voice grave resonating like thunder. Myriads of incandescent embers drew an infernal spiral towards Shikai. Each particle seemed to burn with contained fury, threatening to engulf the ninja in a blaze.

Before the burning ashes reached his skin, a network of white lightning crackled around him, forming a dome of pure energy. The Raiton: Storm Barrier thundered, deflecting the fire rain in an electrifying explosion that made the air crackle.

— "You won't get me so easily," Shikai replied, his pupils shining with an electric gleam. Shurikens, razor-sharp and threaded with Raiton chakra filaments, erupted from his hands. Their trajectories described luminous arcs, each leaving a sparkling trail. Jura dodged with monstrous agility.

But, in a flash, Shikai was no longer there. He had teleported, his feet resting on the kunai he had thrown, his speed bordering on invisibility. A scalpel of Raiton chakra, blindingly white, appeared between his fingers, its energy pulsing like a lightning blade. He aimed at a vital point on Jura's back.

Yet, at the critical moment, a strange phenomenon occurred. The air itself twisted and deformed, a space-time vortex emerging near the duo.

*Kamui*

Jura's immense Rasengan was swallowed by the vortex, devoured by Kakashi's glowing red eye, who suddenly stood up. He had feigned weakness, concealing and waiting for his moment.

Taking advantage of Jura's stunned state, Kakashi followed up with surprising fluidity, performing the same mudras as his opponent had previously used.

— "Raiton: Lightning Lances!"

A rain of electric light erupted from his hands, five sparkling blue lances piercing the air with terrifying velocity. Jura, still suspended in mid-air, contorted, attempting a spin to avoid the projectiles. He used Shikai as a springboard, leaping onto his back to change direction, but he was trapped.

At the same moment, adamantine chains, black and gold, erupted from Shikai's back. They wrapped around Jura's limbs, depriving him of all movement. The lightning lances struck their target with deafening violence, spreading electric arcs across Jura's body. He was thrown to the ground like a rag doll, the earth trembling under the impact.

Kakashi and Shikai, side by side, watched the ninja struggle to get up. His body, marked by the aftermath of the electric attack, was smoking. Yet, his eyes shone with an even more terrifying gleam.

— "You impress me, both of you," Jura said, spitting a mouthful of blood. The metallic taste filled his mouth, stimulating him in a strange way. "But it's time to get serious."

He executed a complex mudra, his hands moving with unexpected precision. A natural aura enveloped him, a brute and primordial energy, making the surrounding atmosphere tremble. Strange marks, amber-colored, appeared on his skin, and his chakra, already powerful, became overwhelming, causing gusts of energy.

— "Hermit Mode..." Kakashi murmured, his pupils widening.

Shikai's face hardened.

The confrontation, already intense, was now going to reach a higher level, where Kakashi's survival would depend on the slightest of their decisions. After all, it had nothing to do with him. He was Jura's master and wanted to stretch his legs. Let it rain, let it thunder, Naruto would be taken. He had worked hard. From simulating conversations with Hiruzen, through the child who had insulted Naruto. Except that Sakura had helped him more than he had thought. His ingratitude had blown the roof. Making Shikai's plan a resounding success.
