Naruto The Thunder Calamity

The usually quiet Hokage's office was packed with people today. 

Aside from the current Hokage, Tsunade—the Third Hokage in title—and her so-called assistant, Uchiha Raijin, who was essentially the real Hokage...

There was also Uchiha Suisei, who had just returned to Konohagakure. 

Finally, the seven Jinchuriki were present. 

In short, everyone in Konohagakure with influence or connections to this matter was gathered here. 

The Hokage building itself was completely surrounded by multiple layers of Anbu and Konohagakure police forces.

Tsunade was the first to break the silence in the room. 

As soon as Tsunade spoke, everyone's attention turned to her. 

"I feel like there's no need to even discuss this." 

Feeling everyone's eyes on her, Tsunade spoke slowly. 

"After all, it's just a random unknown ninja showing up. We just need to investigate it, right?" 

Tsunade rested her chin on one hand, blinking as she spoke to the group. 

"But what if that ninja teams up with Uchiha Madara?" 

Hearing this, Shimura Danzo was the first to frown and question her. 

Raijin immediately looked over at Shimura Danzo. 

"If that ninja teams up with Uchiha Madara, Danzo-sama, do you have any plans to deal with it?" 

"That's why we need to discuss it!" 

Shimura Danzo shot back at Raijin. 

"There's nothing to discuss." 

Senju Tobirama shook his head slowly. 

"Uchiha Madara is an enemy. That unknown ninja is also an enemy. If the two join forces, Konohagakure has no other option but to fight with all its strength." 

"But what if we lose?" 

As Tobirama finished speaking, Sarutobi Hiruzen frowned slightly, voicing his concern. 

"If we lose, we die. And if we die, there's nothing left to think about." 

Raijin shrugged casually as he responded to Sarutobi Hiruzen. 

"Raijin, watch your tone." 

Senju Tobirama gave Uchiha Raijin a somewhat exasperated look. 

"We don't even know what that unknown ninja wants yet." 

Utatane Koharu sighed helplessly, smiling bitterly as she spoke. 

"If nothing unexpected happens, even if Anbu investigates, they likely won't find anything." 

Raijin immediately chimed in after Koharu's words. 

"Are you looking down on Anbu's capabilities?" 

Senju Osamu's forehead instantly showed a vein of frustration, and his voice carried barely contained anger. 

"Hmm? How could I be? Since Commander Osamu is so confident, I'll leave this task to Anbu. I look forward to seeing how quickly you can uncover information on that unknown ninja." 

Raijin gave Senju Osamu a surprised glance and casually handed the task to Anbu.

Tsunade couldn't hold back her laughter. 

"You…" 

Senju Osamu nearly stood up and drove a kunai into Raijin's head. 

How was he supposed to investigate? 

Arrest that unknown ninja and torture him for information? Laughable. They couldn't even catch him! 

"Enough." 

Senju Tobirama, exasperated by the way the meeting was getting sidetracked, stepped in to stop it. 

"Raijin, share your thoughts." 

Senju Tobirama directed the question straight at Raijin.

"I don't really have an opinion. If Madara wanted to attack Konohagakure, he would have done so already. The fact that he hasn't means he's made his choice."

Raijin shrugged and said to everyone, 

"The threat from that unknown ninja seems to outweigh Konohagakure in Madara's mind."

Shimura Danzo immediately spoke up at this, 

"While this is beneficial for Konohagakure, I can't say I'm happy about it."

Tsunade pursed her lips and leaned back in her chair. 

"He's looking down on you."

Raijin nodded earnestly and said quietly to Tsunade, 

Though he spoke softly, the room was so quiet that everyone heard him. 

"Uchiha Raijin!" 

Tsunade snapped her head around and said each word clearly as she grabbed Uchiha Raijin, who still had a mischievous smile on his face, and pulled him down onto her lap. 

Watching this scene, Senju Tobirama rubbed his temples, feeling a headache coming on. 

How had Konohagakure managed to maintain such a thriving state under the leadership of these fools? Sunagakure and Iwagakure must have contributed significantly to this. 

What was supposed to be a serious meeting of the higher-ups now looked more like a team-building event. 

There wasn't even a trace of tension in the air. 

Sitting there, Senju Tobirama realized that this situation didn't really require much discussion. 

After all, when facing an opponent whose intentions were unclear, it was difficult for Konohagakure to take the initiative. 

Right now, Konohagakure was in a passive position, but so was Uchiha Madara.

Sarutobi Hiruzen nodded at this and didn't say anything further. 

"When dealing with an incredibly strong individual, the best approach is usually to send someone equally strong. But I can't leave Konohagakure casually, or it would leave the village vulnerable." 

With that, Raijin nodded slightly and spoke to everyone in the office. 

"Then why not take us along when you leave Konohagakure? Isn't Uchiha Madara's target us anyway?" 

Uzumaki Mito smiled as she said this to Raijin. 

"You always like to joke with me." 

Raijin responded to Uzumaki Mito with a smile. 

"What I mean is, while I can't leave Konohagakure myself, I can use the Shadow Clone Jutsu to investigate that mysterious ninja." 

After a brief pause, Raijin continued speaking to everyone. 

Of course, this was just an excuse. 

Before taking action, there were no signs of a presence at all.
