Naruto The Thunder Calamity

Chapter 245: Chapter 245, Uchiha Traditional Skills

Inside the Kazekage office, Kazekage lowered his gaze, his voice trembling slightly.

The deaths of his comrades and the possible consequences of the missing materials made it hard for Kazekage to remain calm.

Sunagakure... has really a lot of problem.

Everyone in the village had been doing their best to create value for this batch of materials.

Under Konohagakure's economic blockade, they had slowly pieced together these supplies.

And now...

The materials were gone.

The escorting ninjas were dead.

Since birth, even when he had been nearly humiliated by Raijin during the Chunin exams, he had never felt so broken.

These bastards...

They truly deserve to die!

"Is that so?"

Raijin, upon hearing Kazekage, pressed his lips together, stood up, and stepped forward, patting Kazekage on the shoulder.

To be honest, Raijin could feel Kazekage's pain. Some of his past experiences made it easy for Raijin to empathize with Shigeru.

But Raijin also knew very well that in village-to-village negotiations, emotions should have no place.

The pain of Sunagakure had nothing to do with Konohagakure.

No, there was still some connection.

Konohagakure would be pleased to see Sunagakure in pain.

Because Konohagakure would be more than happy to see Sunagakure's overall strength drop another level.

"Now that the matter has been investigated, I'll return to Konohagakure."

Raijin pressed his lips together and ultimately chose not to say directly what Sunagakure should do.

Even without saying it, Kazekage already knew what needed to be done.

The loss of supplies in Sunagakure had nothing to do with Konohagakure.

The only connection was that Konohagakure might receive the supplies from Sunagakure a bit later than expected.

But it wasn't a big deal—it would just be adjusted with interest.

After all, according to the original ceasefire agreement, Sunagakure and Iwagakure should have already returned these supplies by now.

The reason they hadn't yet was largely due to Senju Tobirama.

At the moment, Sunagakure and Iwagakure were still in the process of paying back the interest.

The principal?

They hadn't even touched it.

"Don't worry, Sunagakure will definitely give Konohagakure an explanation."

Kazekage looked up at Raijin, swallowed, and held back his emotions.

"Mm, I'll wait for Sunagakure's envoy in Konohagakure."

Raijin raised an eyebrow, nodded, and in the next moment, his figure disappeared.

The advantage of the Flying Thunder God technique and the Sound Thunder fruit's element-based flight is that no matter how far the distance, it only takes one second.

And it's silent and very cool!

Looking at where Raijin had been standing, Kazekage closed his eyes with a bit of a headache.

The already heavy financial burden on Kazekage's shoulders had been suffocating enough.

And now, the raid Sunagakure suffered nearly became the final straw that broke Kazekage's back.

But there was nothing to be done. Kazekage would have to spend more money and send an envoy to Konohagakure to seek a reasonable solution.

As for war…

Sunagakure had long lost the ability to wage war.

It's almost laughable, but the reality is that Sunagakure was now so weak it couldn't even hunt down rogue ninjas hiding somewhere.

This... is the price of starting a war.

...

Meanwhile, things weren't looking great on Je's side either.

In the afternoon, Yuki and Takuya were carrying a stretcher, their faces downcast, walking toward the house where Uchiha Suisei lived.

Uzumaki Nagato and several of his companions stood at the door, silently watching the scene without saying a word.

"I'm sorry, we encountered Konohagakure's Thunder Blade Saint on the way, so..."

Placing the stretcher on the ground, Yuki knelt before Uzumaki Nagato with a sad expression.

Uzumaki Nagato's lips twitched slightly, as if he wanted to say something but couldn't.

"Yue died while covering our retreat. Uchiha Raijin found an opening and struck him down with his sword."

Yuki's eyes were filled with sorrow as she spoke to Uzumaki Nagato.

Yue was the name Uchiha Suisei went by when facing these ninjas.

It symbolized the moon, always accompanying the stars.

"Teacher... he..."

Uzumaki Nagato opened his mouth but choked on his words, a hint of tears in his voice.

He closed his eyes and tried to hold back the tears that were about to fall. In the darkness, every moment he spent with his teacher played out in his mind.

It seemed like... ever since he could remember, his teacher had always been by his side.

He still remembered it was a sunny afternoon, and his teacher was lazily leaning against a large tree, resting with his eyes closed.

He was probably not even four years old at the time. He went over to his teacher and asked why he wore a mask.

"As ninjas like us, once we take off our masks, people will remember our faces, which would expose our weaknesses."

"Even someone as strong as you, teacher, has weaknesses?"

Nagato's eyes widened in surprise as he asked Suisei.

"Of course, you are my weakness."

Nagato clearly remembered that was how his teacher had answered him.

That was a line Nagato would always remember.

At that moment, Nagato decided he would learn ninjutsu well and become a ninja stronger than his teacher.

He wanted his teacher to be able to take off the mask and live openly in the ninja world.

But now, his teacher was dead.

Dead... and with him, his dreams died as well.

That dream that had not yet been declared to the ninja world.

And the one who killed his teacher, the one who killed his dreams, was Uchiha Raijin.

The Thunder Sword Saint...

What a loud title. Kill him! The intense negative emotions caused Nagato's Rinnegan to begin spinning uncontrollably.

Seeing this, Snow felt a surge of joy in her heart, but her face still wore a sorrowful expression.

This time, aside from gathering enough supplies for everyone to stay hidden, the other most important goal was to make Nagato awaken the Rinnegan.

That eye, said to belong to Rikudou Sennin.

No one knew how to defeat Uchiha Raijin.

And the Rinnegan, with its legendary name, had become everyone's last hope.

"Don't be too sad. Tsuki is gone, but now, let us take care of you."

Yuki extended her hand toward Uzumaki Nagato. Her words, which seemed caring, were like a knife stabbing deep into Nagato's chest.

If she really didn't want to make Nagato sad, Snow should have kept quiet at that moment.

"Get away!"

The moment Yuki's finger touched Nagato's arm, he jerked away, as if shocked by electricity.

As his voice rose, an invisible force spread outward from Nagato in all directions.

"Bang!"

Yuki instantly felt like she had been hit by something, and before she could react, she was sent flying backward.

Several nearby ninjas, unable to control themselves, were also knocked over.

They collided with some ninjas who hadn't had time to dodge.

Shinra Tensei!

A small vacuum-like space formed around Uzumaki Nagato.

Except for Uzumaki Nagato, only Uchiha Suisei, now in a phasing state, remained.

At that moment, Uzumaki Nagato felt as if he hadn't vented all his anger yet, and another wave of frustration hit him.

When the two forces collided, Nagato felt a tight, painful sensation in his chest.

"Ah... good afternoon, Nagato."

Seeing Uzumaki Nagato acting like a wild beast, Suisei chuckled awkwardly and waved at him.

"Ah!!! You go die!!!"

Uzumaki Nagato's scream echoed relentlessly in front of Uchiha Suisei's house...

"How is it? Have you sensed anything?"

In the Hokage office, Tsunade asked Raijin.

Tsunade wasn't interested in Sunagakure at all.

Although Sunagakure was still officially one of the top hidden villages in the ninja world, in reality, it was on the verge of collapse.

Relatively speaking, Tsunade was more interested in Zetsu.

The potential threat posed by the possible appearance of Uchiha Madara was far greater than the combined threat of Sunagakure and Iwagakure.

"Zetsu must have noticed by now, as long as he's not an idiot."

Raijin chuckled lightly, shaking his head as he spoke to Tsunade.

"However, even if Zetsu has noticed, there's nothing he can do about it."

Tsunade nodded in agreement.

"Yeah... right now, the situation is that everyone is just waiting."

Raijin chuckled again, speaking to Tsunade.

"Then let's just wait and see."

Tsunade nodded, knowing that with time, the members of the Hokage Guard Squad would become stronger under the influence of Senjutsu.

Once the Three-Tails and Six-Tails are revived, and when the final battle arrives, what will Uchiha Madara do...?

Tsunade clearly knew that even though she had learned Senjutsu and mastered Wood Release, there was still a big gap between her and her grandfather.

However, with the permanent Senjutsu technique now available, Tsunade believed that it wouldn't take long before she reached her grandfather's level.

Maybe even surpass him!

"Ah... sorry, okay? I won't be angry anymore."

Suisei, looking at the frustrated Uzumaki Nagato, said helplessly.

"How did you come up with such an idea?"

Uzumaki Nagato stared at his teacher, his eyes filled with complicated emotions.

Was he angry? Maybe a little.

But there was more relief.

At least his teacher was lying to him, at least his teacher was still alive.

As long as he was alive, there was hope.

"Actually, you're not the first person to go through something like this."

Suisei seemed to recall something, narrowing his eyes.

"Who else?"

Seeing the expression on his teacher's face, for some reason, a bitter feeling rose in Uzumaki Nagato's heart.

It was like something that once belonged to him had been taken away.

"Ah... that was my younger brother. He was the same, frightened enough to activate the Three-Tomoe Sharingan."

Suisei's eyes showed a hint of a smile as he remembered Raijin from back then.

"But why didn't I..."

Uzumaki Nagato was about to ask why he hadn't heard of this before, but he stopped himself before the words left his mouth.

"He... he's already dead. He died during a mission, killed by a Konohagakure ninja."

Suisei laughed lightly and said to Uzumaki Nagato.

"Konohagakure ninja?"

Nagato was stunned, pursing his lips as he whispered.

"Yeah..."

Suisei nodded, his voice filled with a sense of peace.

"My brother had amazing talent. He mastered many ninjutsu at a young age. If I weren't a few years older than him, maybe I wouldn't have been able to beat him when we were kids."

His tone was gentle, but there was a deep longing in his words.

Uzumaki Nagato could easily sense the emotion in Suisei's voice.

"Teacher, you and that senpai must have had a really strong bond, right?"

Uzumaki Nagato took a couple of steps forward, holding Suisei's hand and asking.

"Of course."

Suisei didn't deny it. He simply nodded quietly, turning to look at Uzumaki Nagato.

"Actually, you're a lot like my brother. You're both so talented, and both so strong..."

Watching Uzumaki Nagato holding his hand, Suisei couldn't help but speak.

This wasn't Suisei lying; he wasn't bad at everything, but he had a sharp eye for picking people.

A child in infancy usually doesn't show much.

However, the child chosen by Absolute not only had good talent but also had the same toughness as Raijin did when he was young.

"I will defeat Konohagakure, and... avenge."

Nagato said firmly to Suisei.

"My goal is not revenge."

Hearing this, Suisei gently shook her head and said seriously to Nagato.

"Revenge only causes more people to lose their loved ones. Compared to revenge, I hope this world can become peaceful and stable, so that people can live quietly. I wish there were fewer poor souls like mine."

"Is that so..."

Nagato blinked and asked Suisei.

"Yes, but I can't do this alone."

"I will help you, with all my strength!"

Nagato clenched his fist and placed it on his chest.

"Mm, if it's you, Nagato, you can definitely do it."

Suisei nodded in approval, giving Nagato full recognition.

"But now, you should go rest. Tomorrow, I will check your training."

Suisei ruffled Uzumaki Nagato's red hair and spoke to him.

"Mm! I will definitely impress you!"

Nagato said confidently to Suisei.

"Mm, I'm looking forward to it."

Suisei patted Nagato's back and watched him leave her sight.

Suisei's form twisted, disappearing from the spot.

In the Kamui space, Suisei jumped nine times, and in the next moment, Raijin appeared before her.

"Nagato has awakened the Rinnegan. He's strong."

Suisei said to Raijin.
