After waking up the next day, Kozuki immediately got dressed up and went towards the assigned meeting point with Kurenai and rest.

"Huh" Kozuki who was on his way suddenly stopped for a second but then started moving forward again as if nothing happened.

"Anbu" said Kozuki in his heart as his Observation Haki located the Anbu that was following him from a distance.

"Looks like the news about my strength has been delivered" this was the only reason Kozuki could think of but wasn't much surprised as he expected such a situation already.

By revealing his strength, Kozuki knew that he'll get the attention of Sarutobi but he wasn't afraid since he had enough strength to protect himself.

Konoha Mission Assignment Center.

Kozuki arrived here since today his team will formally start taking missions.

"Here Kozuki" a sound rang throughout the hall as Kozuki saw Kurenai waving towards him and beside her stood Shizune and her father Shinku.

"Good Morning" greeted Kozuki arriving in front of them.

"Good Morning" both Kurenai and Shizune responded as their face showed expectations for the upcoming mission.

"You're late Kid" reminded Shinku as he moved towards the mission assignment desk.

The three of them followed him soon reaching the assignment desk.

Shinku walking in front of Kozuki suddenly stopped as Kozuki nearly collided with him from behind.

"Lord Hokage" Shinku said these words as Kozuki looked in front and saw Sarutobi wearing Hokage Haori sitting at the chair beside the table.

"Welcome Shinku Oh are these your students?' Sarutobi said while looking at the Kozuki, Kurenai and Shizune but his gaze obviously stayed at Kozuki a bit longer.

"Nice to meet you Lord Hokage" said both Kurenai and Shizune looking at Sarutobi with admiring gaze.

"Nice to meet you" said Kozuki plainly but neither did he bow nor did he said "Lord Hokage" as by only greeting him he gave Sarutobi enough face.

"Ha-Ha no need to be so polite, just looking at you kids I can't help but remember my own son who was as cute as you at your age"

Sarutobi laughed creating a warm atmosphere as everyone including Kurenai and Shizune admired Sarutobi at how easy going he was.

Kozuki curled his lips in disdain looking at the hypocritical Sarutobi.

"I hope you won't mess with me otherwise I don't mind killing you even if I go rogue" thought Kozuki hoping such a day would never come.

Kozuki didn't hate Konoha as here lived so many of his friends who he cared for but if you ask him to completely obey Sarutobi then he would rather defect.

Now, Kozuki just wanted to increase his strength because when he had enough strength no one could stop him from doing anything he wants.

As Kozuki was lost in his thoughts, Sarutobi handed a Scroll to Shinku.

"Your mission details are inside it, Good luck as of today, is the start of your Ninja Life" Sarutobi said these words as he stood up from his seat and arrived near Kozuki.

"Kozuki Shiro, right? I heard that you defeated Shinku" the eyes of Sarutobi looked at Kozuki hoping to find anything suspicious.

"It was just a fluke; Sensei was a bit careless. Otherwise how could I defeat him" said Kozuki rubbing the back of his head putting an embarrassed expression.

Sarutobi heard his answer and kept looking at Kozuki but after finding nothing suspicious he smiled and said to Kozuki.

"You're the future of Konoha I'm very optimistic about you" Sarutobi patted Kozuki's shoulder as he left the hall.

"Yosh! Let's start our mission" shouted Kurenai waving her fist excitingly eager for her first mission.

"Ah!! I wanted to do exciting mission not to catch cats, Dad" Shouted Kurenai holding the cat they had caught after running around the whole village.

"Don't complain, Kurenai this is necessary for the development of teamwork" Shinku said educating his daughter and Kozuki and Shizune who stood beside.

"Okay let's hand over the cat to the client" said Shinku as the three of them followed him.

"Here's your task remuneration" Shinku handed the task payment to three of them equally.

"Finally I don't have to hunt thought" Kozuki holding the task money as even the D-Class task provided him with much more money then he got by hunting animals.

"Tomorrow arrive at the same time as today, we'll be doing such mission whole month but I'll train you as well since you still need to learn many things" Shinku informed the three of there next month schedule.

After parting ways with them, Kozuki marched towards his home as the setting sun highlighted his figure.

Arriving home, Kozuki started today's share of practice but he didn't practice any strong moves since he could sense the Anbu at some distance from his house monitoring him.

After the practice and taking a shower, Kozuki slept with his sword near him since from now on he needed to be vigilant even during his sleep as he had gotten the attention of upper echelons of Konoha and didn't wanted to be assassinated.
