Chapter 241: Chapter 241: Obito's Malice

Ka-ka-ka—The Ten Tails, which had remained calm until now, suddenly began thrashing violently. Its body's outer layer peeled away like blooming petals, revealing a brand-new form inside.

"What's happening? Is something wrong?" Ai, who was standing on the Ten Tails, asked in confusion. From his vantage point, he couldn't fully see the transformation taking place.

As the skin of the Ten Tails peeled off, Tsunade observed closely and replied, "The Ten Tails seems to be... blooming?"

"Hoohoo!!"

The discarded skin, once bound by vines, was flung away and trampled underfoot. Its thick, clumsy tail regrew into a slender, flexible appendage with palm-like ends, far more agile than before.

"Be careful!" Gaara shouted suddenly.

Before anyone could process the rapid transformation, the Ten Tails lashed out with its new tail, targeting Ai.

Zzzt! Ai's incredible reflexes allowed him to dodge the attacks momentarily, but the Ten Tails' tail moved with alarming speed and agility. It wasn't long before Ai found himself surrounded, his movement restricted on all sides.

He tried to counterattack, but the rubbery texture of the tail rendered his strikes ineffective. With no other options, he leapt into the air, exposing himself further.

"Damn…!"

Suspended mid-air, Ai watched helplessly as the massive tail approached, its palm closing in.

Swish! At the last second, Gaara's sand wrapped around Ai's elbow, yanking him out of harm's way and pulling him back to the ground.

"Are you okay, Raikage?" Onoki asked, his eyes still fixed on the Ten Tails.

"I'm fine," Ai replied, regaining his footing. "But the Ten Tails has changed. Its strength has increased!"

The Five Kage stared at the beast in shock. Its transformation wasn't just physical—it was a qualitative leap in power.

"Roar!!"

The Ten Tails tore away the remaining vines binding its body, shedding its bulky form entirely. What emerged was a grotesque, emaciated figure—a humanoid monster with a single eye, a gaping mouth, and one ear.

"This just keeps getting worse," Tsunade muttered.

The towering form of the Ten Tails stood straight, its sheer size making it visible to all the allied ninja forces nearby.

"Give up," Obito declared from his perch. "You're no match for the Ten Tails."

The Ten Tails' Barrage

Click! The Ten Tails tilted its head skyward and opened its massive mouth. Energy began to condense rapidly, forming a terrifyingly dense, cone-shaped Tailed Beast Bomb.

"The sky?" Many of the allied shinobi were puzzled, watching as the Ten Tails fired its attack vertically rather than at the battlefield.

Kirito, standing amidst the crowd, suddenly realized what was happening. "I've seen this before…"

The Ten Tails unleashed its attack—a Tailed Beast Bomb streaking into the heavens. Without pause, it began condensing another, launching it in rapid succession like a relentless machine gun.

"Damn it! There's no way to stop this with Earth Release!" Kitsuchi muttered, withdrawing his hands from the ground.

He had tried using techniques like Earth-Style: Mountain Jutsu to interfere with the Ten Tails' movements, but the vines from Gaara's earlier attack had destabilized the terrain, making it impossible to execute.

The Ten Tails let out a long breath, pausing its barrage. The allied forces, however, began to grasp its strategy.

Their eyes turned skyward, where the once-star-studded night now held the potential for doom. Every bright "star" above them could now be a falling Tailed Beast Bomb.

"Hehehe…" Obito chuckled, spreading his arms wide. "Go ahead, panic. You have no idea where the Tailed Beast Bombs will land. If you spread out, you'll leave your allies vulnerable. If you stay together, you'll be annihilated in one strike. What can your so-called alliance do now?"

Obito's mocking laughter echoed as the Ten Tails lowered its head and began preparing a massive, spherical Tailed Beast Bomb, this time aimed directly at the center of the allied forces.

United Resolve

"The end of a ninja is loneliness," Obito taunted. "Abandon your comrades and run if you want to survive!"

The tension among the allied forces grew palpable. Many shinobi hesitated, their resolve wavering.

"Don't make me laugh!" Tsunade's voice rang out, cutting through the fear.

The Five Kage leapt into action, scaling the vines surrounding the Ten Tails. Tsunade, her Strength of a Hundred Seal fully activated, took the lead.

"No need to hesitate—attack the source!" she shouted. Her plan was simple: Obito wouldn't dare drop a Tailed Beast Bomb on himself.

Obito remained silent, directing one of the Ten Tails' tails to intercept Tsunade. Sharp, jagged branches sprouted from its palm, aimed directly at her.

"Be careful, Hokage!" Onoki warned, his hands glowing as he prepared a Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique.

The branches shot forward like a swarm of locusts, overwhelming Tsunade.

Swish! Onoki's white beam obliterated many of the branches, but their sheer number proved too much.

Whoosh! Gaara's sand surged forward, forming a dense shield in front of Tsunade and blocking the remaining branches. The sand also created a platform beneath her feet, propelling her closer to Obito.

With Obito now within reach, Tsunade concentrated all her chakra into her fist and swung it at him with full force.

"Now's the time—"

Boom! A massive wave of repulsion erupted from Obito, centered on the Ten Tails. The attack hurled the Five Kage and their defenses back to the ground.

The Ten Tails folded its tails around its body, shielding itself completely.

Shhhh—

Above, the sky filled with countless crimson Tailed Beast Bombs, glowing ominously under the red moon as they began their descent toward the battlefield.
