Naruto-The secret sage

Chapter 132: Done

I sent him home after that while I myself casually jumped down from the top of the monument and merely slowed myself down with wind release before I landed on the ground below. The moment my feet touched the ground I flickered and immediately reached the Hokage office like the distance had simply decided it didn't exist anymore. Even at that speed however I didn't so much as create a breeze as I controlled the air to part and reform around me as I went. This sounded impressive but in truth any half decent wind release user could do something similar as the trick was to not exceed your perception as you flickered.-

What I did was simply apply this concept at a higher level of speed but the concept itself was quite simple. Anyways I didn't bother going through the normal route to see my sensei of asking her assistant(Shizune) but just walked up the side of the building to her window. I knocked on the edge with a smirk making her jump slightly in surprise.-

"Why is it always you?" she asked with an annoyed look.

"Because everyone else is afraid of you for some reason." I answered with a chuckle as her eyebrow twitched at that.

"Hmph! Why are you here since you aren't the sort to just casually visit?" she asked and I shrugged.

"Just came to let you know that Kakashi has entered sage mode for the first time and will only be training a bit more with me to fully master it." I said casually.

"Is his sage mode like yours since he learnt it from you?" she asked curiously.

I scoffed "Not even close! My sage mode covers the entire animal kingdom, his covers dogs." I say slightly annoyed at the mere idea of comparison.

"Touchy much?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.

"You wouldn't understand, it's like comparing the sun to a campfire. Sure you can do it but it's almost insulting for the sun. I may not go about acting like an arrogant ass but I have my own pride." I say seriously.

She nods "I understand. I suppose that trying to compare your sage mode with a "normal" version might come across as insulting. Still I can not be blamed for what I couldn't know. And there is no mistake, I couldn't know how his training would turn out. Nobody could, this entire situation is unique in the entire world and frankly unprecedented as well so theres no telling how it would turn out until it was over." she said seriously.

"Well as nice as it would be to stay and chat for a bit, that report was the only reason I came so I'm going home now." I said before flickering away before she could say anything else.

When I got home Karin totally ambushed me like I hadn't known she was waiting on the other side of the door at all.

"Welcome home!" she said with a wide smile as she hugged me tightly.

"Good to be back. Have you eaten yet?" I asked with a small smile of my own.

She shook her head "I was waiting for you." she said honestly.

"I see, Yakiniku Q then?" I offered and her eyes lit up.

"Yes, please!" she said eagerly.

We held hands as we walked to the bbq place in question that let you grill your own food so if it was burnt or undercooked you only had yourself to blame. It was quite expensive though so we only went maybe once a week.-

Not that money was a problem at all for me as I earned money hand over fist by having a mitosis clone completing missions while I stayed home. Add on the profits Kiseki and my other beasts brought in and I was easily one of the most wealthy individuals in the village. I'm not talking about the clans though as those had WAY more wealth than I did just that individually speaking I was top five in the village. I had thought about spending my money to improve things around the village but after looking into it found out that all options other than posting missions would involve stepping on toes.-

Restaurants, laundromats, flower shops, construction, seals, you name it and someone else had already gotten a monopoly on it in the village so long as it wasn't new. I certainly wasn't about to go introducing stuff from earth here just to make the village a miniscule amount better. I had thought about introducing video games but I neither knew how to make the tech for that nor did I really want to learn how to. Besides only an idiot would fail to notice that the tech age for this world was right around the corner with how "modern" things were turning.-

Since this was the case I was content to sit on my ever expanding pile of money like a dragon on it's hoard of gold. The ironic part was that I was literally the only person in the world who genuinely wouldn't ever have to worry about money as I could literally create anything near limitlessly thanks to my eyes. I barely made use of my awakened eyes that I refused to name out of spite for the reason I even have them.-

My ocular dojutsu were simply not the sort of things you use for no good reason but genuinely dangerous things. The innate abilities of the eyes that let me see energy was nice but even without activating my eyes I had a small degree of that so I never used my eyes actively. Sure the temptation was there but I had no need of those abilities at the moment. Over the next week I guided Kakashi into refining his sage mode to be more and more smooth and perfect. I also helped him estimate how much sage chakra to use for his signature techniques.-

After this week of training however I was officially done with him as all that was left was the work he could do on his own. That said as a "graduation" gift I gave him some of the crystal from my chamber that drew natural energy to it. It wasn't enough to replicate the effect of my chamber but it would allow him to have a higher density of natural energy in a single room of his house than normal. It may have been my own bias but a sage without a special meditation chamber just seemed wrong to me.
