In the pitch-black forest, only an oppressive silence prevailed, utterly still and soundless. Under the moonlit night sky, the spreading branches looked even more terrifying, as if something or someone was lurking in the shadows, watching them.

"How is it possible that the village was attacked, but there's no trace of battle here?" Tsunade frowned slightly, her voice cold as she spoke.

Hearing her words, Jiraiya, standing beside her, wore a solemn expression, scanning the surroundings before saying gravely, "It's not that simple. Listen carefully—there's no sound of battle at all. There's only one reason for that."

Upon hearing Jiraiya's words, Tsunade exchanged a glance with him, her eyes narrowing with seriousness as the same thought flashed through both their minds.

Behind them, Minato's young face turned grim without saying a word, while Kushina beside him couldn't help but ask in confusion, "Tsunade-senpai, Jiraiya-senpai, what's the reason?"

Tsunade and Jiraiya kept their eyes tightly fixed on their surroundings, taking defensive stances, fully alert to any possible attacks, and did not answer Kushina's question.

Minato gently pulled Kushina's arm, his face heavy as he said, "Kushina, it's possible that the ninjas from the village who came here are already dead."

Kushina's face changed, her voice filled with shock, "How could that be!"

Tsunade stared intensely at the dark forest ahead and said seriously, "Nothing is impossible. With Aizen involved, this attack is far more complicated than we imagined."

Just as her words fell, the ground where they stood suddenly cracked open!

"Boom!"

A massive wave of golden sand surged toward the four of them like a tidal wave!

Seeing the sudden flood of golden sand, the faces of those present changed drastically.

"Dodge!"

Jiraiya waved his hand, shouting, and then stepped forward, standing in front of everyone, forming seals with his hands.

"Fire Style: Flame Curtain!"

Tsunade, Minato, and the others quickly retreated without hesitation.

As Jiraiya finished his hand seals, he spat out large fireballs that hit the ground.

Like water melting into the earth, the flames sank smoothly into the ground, and moments later, pillars of fire shot up, colliding with the advancing golden sand.

"Boom—"

The flames scorched the golden sand, and the intense heat turned the sand a glowing red, temporarily halting its advance.

The searing heat waves billowed outward, causing Jiraiya and the others to narrow their eyes as they watched the sand warily.

At this moment, a calm voice sounded from the shadows.

"So it's Jiraiya and Tsunade of the Three Legendary Sannin. I didn't expect you to block my Gold Dust Burial."

As the voice fell, several figures leapt down from the dark trees at the edge of the forest, appearing before Jiraiya and the others.

Leading them was a young man with noticeable black rings around his eyes, his expression calm.

Jiraiya furrowed his brows, looking at their headbands, and spoke gravely, "You're from the Sand Village, aren't you? So you're also involved in this attack on Konoha!"

The young man's face remained calm, his voice cold as he responded, "Why wouldn't we be? If I recall correctly, it was Konoha who attacked the Third Kazekage. This is merely Sand's revenge on Konoha."

Tsunade stepped forward, her eyes flashing angrily as she shouted, "You've been played by Aizen! Konoha has already explained that we had nothing to do with the Third Kazekage's disappearance!"

The young man spread his hands slightly, his expression indifferent. "That no longer matters. Both Iwa and Sand have begun their actions. After tonight, whether Konoha will still exist is uncertain."

Hearing this, Tsunade and Jiraiya felt a jolt in their hearts, their faces turning grim.

So, this attack was a joint effort by Iwa and Sand, with Aizen pulling the strings behind the scenes.

Unfazed by their reactions, the young man continued, "I'm glad I can face two of the Three Sannin here. If I can deal with both of you now, the destruction of Konoha should proceed much faster."

Frowning, Tsunade demanded, "Who are you, to say such things?"

The young man lifted his head slightly, his calm eyes under his dark circles looking at them as he answered, "I'm Rasa of the Sand. Remember that name when you die."

With that, he formed hand seals.

"Boom!"

The golden sand, still burning from the fire, suddenly surged forward again, breaking through the flames!

Tsunade and the others frowned slightly, murmuring, "Can this guy control the gold sand? Just like the Third Kazekage's ability?"

As if hearing their murmurs, Rasa said coldly, "My bloodline ability is not just about controlling gold sand. These sands respond to me even after enduring high temperatures. It doesn't hinder my control."

"Magnet Release: Gold Dust Shuriken!"

With a soft shout, the molten gold sand in mid-air condensed into countless golden shuriken, which then rained down upon Tsunade and the others!

The sound of the shuriken cutting through the air was enough to chill anyone's heart.

Seeing this, Jiraiya's expression grew stern as he said, "Minato, you focus on protecting Kushina. Leave this fight to us!"

Minato nodded gravely, placing himself in front of Kushina protectively.

Meanwhile, more and more Konoha ninjas, alerted by the earlier killings, were gathering at the northwestern corner of the battlefield.

In a secluded part of the village, inside a quiet house...

"Swoosh!"

A short blade gleamed momentarily before being sheathed once again.

"White Fang, follow me into battle one more time!"

In the house stood a one-armed man, his face etched with melancholy, but his eyes flashing with sharp determination as he sheathed his dark blade behind him.

"Creak!"

As he pushed the door open to leave, a worried, gentle voice called from behind him.

"Sakumo... please be careful. Kakashi and I are waiting for you to come back."

Sakumo's body stiffened slightly at the sound.

After a long pause, he turned around, showing a guilty smile, and said softly, "I'm sorry... Please take care of Kakashi while I'm gone. I'll be back."

With that, he left, leaving the woman behind leaning powerlessly against the wall, her face full of concern.

Meanwhile, in another part of the forest...

Aizen calmly extended his hand into the air.

A blue rectangular shape radiating intense light appeared before him, its branches spreading out like a tree.

"Bakudō #77. Tenteikūra!"

"Prepare for battle, everyone. Follow my orders and meet me where I am. A new chapter is about to begin!" Aizen smiled faintly, his eyes gleaming as he spoke softly.

Behind him stood Nawaki and Saki, quietly awaiting orders. As Aizen's words fell, in another part of the distant forest, several figures suddenly opened their eyes.

One of them, an old man with a defiant expression, smirked and muttered, "Tch, it's finally starting."
