Naruto : Shadow King

Setting up a base, arranging funds, securing rations and weapons, coming up with training plans and finding more like minded people to join the newly build organization.

There was a lot of work left to do. Unlike Sasuke and Karin who didn't asked much due to the former's only desire to get stronger and find Itachi and latter being partially depended on Shika to some extend, other members who will join will surely asked for the real purpose of the newly build organization Shika was creating.

Shika decided to stay low for the time being, at least until he have a good hold of his own condition. His next actions depends on what Konoha ended up doing, whether he will be reported as a Missing Nin or not determined his next action.

For the time being, his own funds were more than enough to sustain the organization. Geto's money was enough for him to keep the Organization going for a long time. But it turn out that he didn't had to put his money in his organization at all, he got enough from Root's base that he can sustain this new organization for half a decade.

So, funds were not actually any problem, even if more people ended up joining him later on. The more pressing matters were finding a stable source of rations like Food, Water, Weapons and other Shinobi tools.

This was relatively easy for either Shika and Sasuke to do, however Shika decided to give this job to Karin. She don't have much fighting power so she can handle this logistic thing on her end.

So, Shika directly allocated funds to her and let her handle the logistic problem.

"Remember there are not many people who will recognize you but for good measure have a good disguise. And I'm not talking about a temporary one, go for a permanent one since you will requite to travel frequently in public and your red hair stands out like sore thump..." Shika handed the money to her and said.

To which, he only got a big pout in return and the Tsundere just turn around with a huff and before going just leave this remark.

"Hmph... and here I thought you like red hair....

"???"

'Sigh...woman...'

'This job shouldn't be that hard since the land of Snow don't have a Ninja village. Due to using portal, there shouldn't be any leads which point those Anbu that they are here. So the possibility of Konoha Anbu coming here all the way to the land of Snow is almost nill. Just hope that she stay safe.' Shika thought and saw the redhead muttering something to herself and going away to complete her task. Shaking his head he just return to his work.

'Okay lets see, creating a base... done.

Funds...done.

Securing stable channel of rations and other necessary items... in progress.' Shika muttered to himself.

Now that the basic necessities are out of the way, he had to start preparing for the real reason he was creating the organization in the first place.

'Intel Network, a way to hide our presence from that bastard Zetsu, a way to protect this base from space time jutsu like Kamui. Finding members for this new organization to counter Akatsuki, Nagato, Obito and Madara and finally getting stronger.

There was still a lot of things which he has to do. Now that Karin was out working, his attention went to the emo duck who was training alone.

Sasuke harrassed him to fight against him all morning and upon denial from Shika, he had no other option but to train alone.

'I personally have to go to find people for the organization, so its better if I leave Sasuke here alone, there should be someone to look after them look out after all.' Shika thought and then got up.

"Sasuke, stay vigilant, I am going out to find more people..." Shika said before his eyes turned blue and Rinnegan came to life. Sasuke sensing the chakra turn around and this time Shika wasn't hiding his eyes with a Genjutsu so Sasuke did get a glance of those intrigued blue eyes with rings around them.

He narrow his own eyes, he was expecting some sort of red eyes, like Itachi but this was completely different. His curiosity was aroused, he knew after seeing this that those eyes were not Sharingan, till now he was under perception that Shika had unlock his Mangekyo Sharingan.

That why he was able to use all those strange ninjutsu, or at least that what Sasuke thought. But after seeing Shika's eye, he wasn't sure anymore. He only had seen Mangekyo Sharingan once and that too he didn't remember that well. But at least knew that it should be Blue but rather red. As for Rinnegan, Sasuke had no idea about that, he might have known he he was a little older when Uchiha clan was annihilated. He was too young when Itachi massacred Uchiha

'Maybe its blue due to Shika's mix heritage ?' an idea come to his mind but he just shook his head, that didn't matter right now, he had to asked Shika what that eye was.

However, before he could do anything, Shika was gone, he open his portal and went somewhere.

"Tch..."

[Konoha.]

The situation in the village was chaotic at best, after the dead of Hiruzen Sarutobi, elders were the one who was running the village in the absence of Hokage.

Them being kill was an big blow. Now there was no experience person in the village who can handle the entire situation. It was also an power struggle.

The Konoha 4 or the 4 last living students of Tobirama Senju hold the most power in the village. They eagerly hold on to their power to the very end, and that why when they were dead, the power they hold was up for grabs.

From their clan's man to other clans and even some high-standing officials in the village. This was the kind of situation which could not stop until a Hokage is appointed and the only person right now who had both the power and the public support was Tsunade.

And the said woman was right now lying in her room, clenching her head with a drunken state, she was cursing Shika.

"That bastard kid, let me just fine him, I'm gonna beat him to dead." Tsunade mutter to herself, not wanting to let others know who it is, she keeps the thing to herself.

More importantly, she was now in the most pressure, after the death of Elders and Danzo, she was the most suitable candidate for becoming the Hokage. In the original series she became one because Naruto some how convinced her with his plot armor.

Shika don't have one of those, so he can only hope that Tsunade can take up the position of Hoakge in dire times.

Still now Shika wasn't targeted due to his original mission which take him out of the village were the Root members attacked him.

If not for that, those sharp Anbu only would have connected his absence. Though technically he should be back by now but seeing his own track record of being late in missions, no one did anything.

Tsunade was drowning in her own sorrow when suddenly the door was open and Shizune came inside.

"Lady Tsunade, the council and the Clan heads request for your presence..."
