Naruto: Saving the Universe by Stealing Attributes

Chapter 90: Chapter 90: Even a Tailed Beast Can Change Its Face?

Mirai surveyed the wreckage of the once-pristine island and dismissed his Susanoo with a casual wave of his hand.

As far as islands went, this one was already large enough.

At least...it could easily sustain a battle between thousands of shinobi without issue.

But even such a place felt fragile before the might of a fully manifested Susanoo.

He hadn't even exerted himself, and the island was already on the verge of sinking.

Descending slowly from the sky, Mirai landed gracefully atop the head of the Isobu (Three-Tails).

"Isobu," he said, his voice calm but commanding. "It's your turn now."

The Three-Tails flicked its tails in surprise. "You...you brat. You actually know my name?"

"Not just yours," Mirai replied with a faint smile. "I know the names of all the Tailed Beasts."

"But that's not the point. The point is—you just made the mistake of provoking me."

The Three-Tails let out a low growl. "So, what do you intend to do about it?"

Hearing that, Mirai chuckled softly. "Simple. You're going to join me. Become part of my strength."

"And if I refuse?"

"That's not an option," Mirai said flatly. "I wasn't asking for your permission."

"Then why waste time with all this talk?" The Three-Tails shifted its massive body in annoyance.

This brat's eyes—they were just like that man's from the past, Uchiha Madara. Eyes brimming with malice and dominance.

The Three-Tails knew all too well that resisting those eyes was futile. It had learned the hard way.

From the moment it saw the complete Susanoo, the Three-Tails resigned itself. Resistance would only invite further suffering.

Humans lived for just a few fleeting decades—barely a blink of an eye to a Tailed Beast. It could simply bide its time until this brat was gone, then wreak havoc on his village.

To Mirai's surprise, the Three-Tails showed no resistance. Even so, he laid out his terms.

"Isobu, unlike other Jinchūriki, I don't intend to cage you completely."

"If you ever want some fresh air, just ask. I'll let you out."

The Three-Tails opened its jaws in shock. "Really? You're not afraid I'll go berserk?"

Mirai smirked. "If you think you can, be my guest."

"Hmph!" The beast snorted but couldn't deny the truth in the brat's words.

Seeing its silence as agreement, Mirai used his Mangekyō Sharingan to extract the Three-Tails from its current Jinchūriki and sealed it within himself.

The process was smooth and effortless—helped along by the Three-Tails' lack of resistance.

In mere moments, the body of a fallen Kirigakure shinobi was all that remained.

Inside his mental landscape, Mirai stood before the colossal Three-Tails.

"From now on, I'll be counting on your cooperation, Isobu."

"Enough with the pleasantries, brat," the beast scoffed, closing its eyes dismissively. "Don't think your little tricks will win me over."

Mirai's lips curled into a dangerous smile. "My name is Uchiha Mirai."

"Brat! Brat! Brat!"

"Alright," Mirai said with a hint of menace. "If you insist on being difficult, I'll make sure not to spare you when I resurrect the Ten-Tails."

"...What did you just say?" The Three-Tails' eyes shot open in shock. "Resurrect the Ten-Tails?"

Mirai nodded. "Exactly."

"You know the truth, don't you? When the Sage of Six Paths split the Ten-Tails, you nine Tailed Beasts were born. While you can revive after death, being reabsorbed by the Ten-Tails will mean true oblivion."

"Am I wrong?"

The Three-Tails' expression darkened. "How do you... How do you know about this?"

Only the Sage and the Tailed Beasts should have known this secret. How did this brat know it in such detail?

"The how doesn't matter," Mirai said coldly. "All you need to know is that your fate is in my hands."

The Three-Tails grumbled, "Even if you know all this, resurrecting the Ten-Tails won't be so easy."

Mirai chuckled. "You've seen my power, haven't you? Gathering the nine Tailed Beasts is only a matter of time. As for the Gedo Statue, it's sealed on the moon by the Sage, isn't it?"

Hearing this, the Three-Tails fell silent.

No matter how unbelievable it seemed, it had to face reality.

For the first time in its millennia of existence, the Three-Tails truly feared for its life.

Finally, the beast spoke, its tone submissive.

"Fine. I understand. From now on, I'll remember your name—Uchiha Mirai."

Seeing Mirai remain unmoved, the beast added with an awkward grin,

"You're the boss now. If you need my power, just ask. I'll help you out."

Mirai smirked at the sudden change in attitude.

Who would have thought? Even Tailed Beasts can change their faces.

"If you keep this up, I might let your consciousness survive when I revive the Ten-Tails," Mirai said before vanishing.

The Three-Tails heaved a long sigh of relief.

It had to take back its earlier thoughts—this Uchiha Mirai was far more dangerous than Uchiha Madara.

Returning to the battlefield, Mirai approached the gathered Konoha shinobi.

The awe in their eyes was palpable.

"Kirigakure has fallen," Mirai declared.

"Clean up the battlefield. Then, we head home."

"Yes!" the shinobi chorused, their faces alight with excitement and reverence.

None doubted Mirai's words.

Having witnessed his overwhelming power, they knew Kirigakure wouldn't dare oppose Konoha again.

"Mirai-sama showed us what true strength looks like today!"

"Yeah, especially when he said, 'Let's go home.' So cool!"

"I think I want to marry an Uchiha now."

"Fighting alongside them, they're not so bad after all!"

"Not bad? They're incredible! Every time, they're the first to charge into battle!"

As the chatter continued, the Uchiha clan members stood tall with pride.

Now, no one could question the strength of the Uchiha.

With Mirai's unprecedented power and leadership in the war, a thought burned in their minds:

Perhaps an Uchiha Hokage wasn't just a dream anymore.
