NOVEL NEXT Chapter 4: 2. New member of Team 7

In one of the many secret ROOT bases, Danzo looked at his most powerful ROOT operative kneeling before him.
Long purple hair, cold and emotionless white patches in her mask signifying her eyes, clad in a purple and golden bodysuit.
"Remove your mask."
As Danzo ordered her, her mask shifted and retracted back into her skin.
A cold and emotionless face, with beautiful purple eyes was revealed.
It's been 13 years in ROOT, and Shiori has grown to be Danzo's most loyal and powerful subordinate.
"What are your orders, Danzo-sama?"
Danzo couldn't help but glance at his own hand in bandages, and smile at the treasure he found by luck.
"I have made preparations for you to join Team 7, replacing Sasuke Uchiha. First familiarise yourself with the team, and await my orders.
For now, keep the jinchuriki safe from Akatsuki."
"Yes, Danzo-sama."
"When I become the Hokage, I will place you as the commander of ANBU. Earn some achievements. That Hidan guy, isn't he immortal?"
"Thank you for your kindness, Danzo-sama."
Danzo's lips curled up in delight as she understood his intent.
"You can leave now. I have prepared an apartment for you near the Jinchuriki.
And, how is the progress with the vessels going on?"
"Three clones are perfected. But they are..."
"Gender doesn't matter. Run some tests and make sure that when the time comes, they work."
"Yes, Danzo-sama."
"Leave now."
Danzo watched as she got up and left, and his smirk widened.
His dream of becoming the Hokage is coming closer and closer. Once he becomes the Hokage, everything will come under Konoha. And he will be able to live to see that, even if it takes a century.
Heavens must have blessed him to send such a useful tool his way.

"I am finally here!"
Naruto stood at the top of a building, overlooking Konoha.
He was now 16, and has come back to the village after his two and a half years of training with the Pervy Sage.
"Yo, Naruto."
Naruto heard a voice from behind, and found Kakashi-sensei sitting on a rooftop, reading Icha Icha Paradise.
"Kakashi-sensei!"
Naruto shouted excitedly and went to Kakashi, handing him the latest volume of Icha Icha series, that is yet to be released.
Kakashi's eyes widened in shock as the treasure came to his hands.
Before he could say anything though, an ANBU appeared before them, with red hair that Kakashi recognised.
"Hokage-sama has called you both, and Sakura. Naruto Uzumaki, where is Jiraiya-sama?"
"He came with me- huh!? Where did he go!?"
Kakashi looked at the direction of bathhouse, and the ANBU understood, nodded to him, and disappeared.
"Alright Naruto. Let's go and meet Tsunade-sama."
"Heh! I will show granny how strong I have become!"
As the two went to the Hokage Tower, Sakura was already waiting for them.
"Huh!? Naruto, you have grown taller than me!"
He is looking more mature!
But, her new view of him was shattered as he performed Sexy Jutsu as soon as he saw Konohamaru coming out of the Hokage Tower.
"IDIOT!"
Sakura tried to punch him, but suddenly, someone appeared and caught her punch.
"Huh!?"
Kakashi, Naruto, Sakura and Konohamaru were surprised as someone with flowing purple hair appeared out of nowhere, protecting Naruto.
"Stand down. You will not harm the Jinchuriki."
She ordered Sakura, while her hand firmly grabbed her fist.
"What is happening outside my office!"
Tsunade kicked the door, and saw the commotion outside, and sighed.
"Konohamaru, go catch Tora with your team. And you four, come inside."
As Team 7 and the unknown girl entered the Hokage office, and Naruto couldn't help but glance at the unknown girl's backside.
Afterall, it is the first time he saw someone wear such tight clothes.
"Naruto, welcome back to the village."
Tsunade smiled at him, but frowned as she saw Naruto looking at his new teammate's backside.
Did he learn those things as well from Jiraiya!?
Kakashi coughed, and Naruto finally stopped looking.
"Then, let me introduce the temporary member of Team 7."
The girl turned around, and Naruto finally saw her face.
She was beautiful, a lot more than Sakura. Beautiful, almost mystical purple eyes, purple hair, a tall, athletic yet curvy body, wearing a purple bodysuit with gold designs, especially a golden spider design on her chest.
She smiled at the team. Though it looked really fake and creepy.
"Hello, Sakura, Kakashi-sensei, and Naruto. I am Shiori, thank you for welcoming me into your team. I will be protecting Naruto from now on."
She said, and smiled sweetly at Naruto.
"I don't need any protection! I have gotten stronger, dattebayo!
And, no one can replace Sasuke!"
Shiori's smile faltered, as if she just got rejected.
"Hokage-sama, can I test his strength to determine whether he needs protection or not?"
Shiori asked Tsunade, and she shrugged.
"Alright. To the training ground 7."
Afterall, Tsunade also wanted to see how much Naruto has grown, and what are the capabilities of Danzo's spy. The more she reveals about herself, the better it will be.
She looked at Kakashi to keep an eye on her.
You can never know what sinister plan Danzo is forming.
Naruto hmph'ed at Shiori, not liking a new member replacing Sasuke.
Shiori just kept a forced smile as she watched Naruto as if he was her prey.
Though what her internal thoughts were, no one knew.
Afterall, she has spent 13 years in ROOT.
