Chapter 55: Killer Bee
"Stop!"
The muscular, dark-skinned man who had been leading the charge suddenly halted his advance, and the ninjas behind him, following orders, stopped their movements.
"Bee-sama!"
A light-skinned ninja made a hand seal, clearly using a sensory ninjutsu.
A moment later, he said to the leading man, "There's a trap, and quite a few ninjas are laying an ambush not far from here."
"A trap?"
The man sneered, his body enveloped in a glow of Lightning Chakra, and he charged directly into the so-called trap.
It was a display of boldness, knowing there was a tiger in the mountain yet choosing to go towards it.
Of course, he wasn't afraid of those traps.
As the man stepped into the trap, a "rumble" of explosions sounded, and countless kunai flew towards him, yet they caused not a single scratch on his body.
"Oh no, it's Killer Bee!"
Sakumo, hidden in the forest, saw the newcomer, and his expression became extremely serious. His right hand unconsciously gripped the short blade on his back, and he held his breath, ready to strike at any moment.
"Killer Bee?" Kazuki blinked.
"Killer Bee is the second-in-command of Kumogakure. His strength is not much inferior to the Raikage."
Tsunade whispered in Kazuki's ear. "Every generation in Kumogakure has a Bee. They are the Raikage's right-hand men. Their position is equivalent to Danzo's to Sarutobi-sensei."
Kazuki nodded in understanding. He remembered that the future Killer Bee was also the Fourth Raikage's Bee.
He hadn't expected that his first mission outside Konoha would involve encountering this generation's Bee.
However, what the opponent was using should be the Lightning Release Chakra Mode that he had been longing for.
Just a short while ago, he was talking about wanting to see the Lightning Release Chakra Mode, and now he actually saw it.
"I didn't expect you to have the potential of a jinx." Tsunade then complained.
She kept her gaze fixed on where Sakumo was located not far away.
Once Sakumo made his move, Tsunade would also strike without hesitation.
"Uh…"
Kazuki pursed his lips, thinking about how he would deal with this Killer Bee.
Sasuke's experience told Kazuki not to use Lightning Release in front of a strong Lightning Release user, unless your Lightning Release is stronger than theirs.
Sasuke was crushed when facing the Fourth Raikage.
Although, if the Raikage hadn't had Gaara's help, he might have perished with Sasuke. At that time, the Raikage was a bit impulsive.
But the fact proved that Sasuke's Chidori was inferior to the Fourth Raikage's Lightning Release Chakra Mode.
"I'll leave a Flying Thunder God Mark on you." Kazuki said, placing his hand on Tsunade's shoulder.
"Alright." Tsunade hesitated for a moment, then agreed.
Kazuki was only leaving a Flying Thunder God Mark on her clothes, not on her body, and she was willing to trust Kazuki. Even if it was permanent, what then?
Could Kazuki possibly harm her?
In such a battle, Kazuki would undoubtedly play a huge role later on.
Boom!
Just as Kazuki left a Flying Thunder God Mark on Tsunade, Bee had already made his move, launching an attack first in the direction of the Root ninja.
He kicked a Root ninja with unimaginable speed, leaving him in an unknown state of life or death, and then attacked the other ninjas.
"Move out!"
Sakumo saw that things were not good, drew the short blade from his back, and slashed towards Bee.
Unlike Kazuki, this time, the short blade in Sakumo's hand was enveloped in terrifying Wind Release Chakra.
Wind Release counters Lightning Release.
Sakumo was most proficient in Lightning Release, and he could almost be said to be Konoha's most proficient Lightning Release user at the moment, but there was still a gap compared to Bee.
Sakumo was also very skilled in Wind Release, and when combined with his swordsmanship, it was even more compatible than Lightning Release.
Wind Release's penetrating and tearing abilities were his forte.
"Konoha's White Fang, eh? As expected, you set up a trap, didn't you?"
Facing the White Fang slashing towards him, Bee's hand was enveloped in a terrifying aura of lightning. His fist met the White Fang short sword, and he actually directly blocked the White Fang's short sword.
This made the surrounding people gasp in cold air. Sakumo was a renowned strong ninja in Konoha, yet the opponent blocked his attack with his bare fist.
"Attack!"
The other Root ninjas all moved to gang up on Bee.
"Let's go help."
Tsunade hesitated for a moment, then said to Kazuki, "He alone is not his match, I need to go help."
"You decide who you want to deal with. Those Kumo ninjas who came later are all quite strong."
"Also, do not use Lightning Release in front of someone whose Lightning Release is stronger than yours."
In Tsunade's opinion, Bee almost countered Kazuki. Although Kazuki had talent and Chidori was a good Ninjutsu, there was still a considerable gap when compared to Bee.
It wasn't that Kazuki's talent was truly inferior to Bee's, but rather that Bee's Ninjutsu was learned, not self-created.
Self-creation is always harder than learning.
However, the later ninjas were different. Tsunade was confident that Kazuki would do better than them.
Moreover, killing more of these Kumo ninjas would also be a way to weaken Kumogakure.
Tsunade leaped out and headed towards Bee. At this moment, the scene had already descended into chaos.
The Root njnjas all engaged the Kumo ninjas.
There was one thing Kazuki had to admit. These Root ninjas were indeed killing machines.
When facing enemies, they resorted to all means. Even if it meant dying themselves, they wouldn't let the opponent have an easy time.
However, Kazuki would not consider them comrades, as no one knew if these people would turn on him at a critical moment and attack him.
Ever since he transmigrated to Konoha, and into the Uchiha clan, Kazuki knew that Danzo would be his enemy, even though Kagami and Danzo were comrades and their relationship was quite good.
But their becoming adversaries was only a matter of time.
Just look at when Danzo attacked Shisui, he didn't hesitate at all.
