Naruto : Please Torture Me!

Chapter 3: The First Painful(Pleasure) Steps: 2

The sun was warm against the gentle breeze, casting golden rays over the training grounds. Flower stood at the edge of the clearing, her small hands clutched tightly at the fabric of her sleeves. Her lavender eyes shimmered as they focused on the boy darting across the field, his bright orange jacket glowing like a beacon against the greenery.

"This is him," she whispered again, her voice trembling as though speaking the words aloud might shatter the fragile moment.

Naruto Uzumaki—the boy whose smile could outshine the sun, whose loud, boisterous energy made him impossible to ignore, and whose unwavering determination had inspired her countless times in her past life.

He was clumsy, his attempts at practicing jutsu full of mistakes. His punches missed their marks, his movements lacked precision, and yet... he didn't stop. Over and over, he stumbled, fell, or misfired. But every single time, he got back up with a grin that lit up the entire field.

Flower felt her chest tighten, her heart fluttering as she watched him. *He's amazing,* she thought, her delicate fingers twisting nervously in the fabric of her sleeves. *Naruto-kun... you never give up, do you?*

She ducked behind a nearby tree, peeking out cautiously as her cheeks flushed. Her small frame trembled as she pressed herself against the trunk, her gaze never leaving him. She didn't even deserve to be this close to him. He was so bright, so full of life, and she... she was just Hinata. A shy, clumsy girl who could barely speak without stammering.

Her fingers tightened on her sleeves as her heart ached. *But maybe... maybe I can help him,* she thought, her lavender eyes softening. The idea warmed her, chasing away some of her nerves. *Even if I'm not strong, I can still support him. I can cook for him, heal him when he's hurt, cheer him on... I'll do anything, anything to help him achieve his dream. I just want to be useful to him.*

Her mind filled with warm, hopeful thoughts of caring for him: preparing meals after long days of training, bandaging his wounds, cheering him on from the sidelines. Her cheeks burned hotter at the thought, her hands clutching at her chest. *I'll be the perfect support for him... like a good wife. A perfect wife.*

Her thoughts were abruptly interrupted when Naruto suddenly turned, his bright blue eyes locking directly onto hers.

"Hey!" he called out, his voice bright and curious. "What are you doing over there?"

Flower froze. Her entire body went stiff, her breath catching in her throat. *Oh no. He saw me. What do I do? What do I say?* Her heart pounded so loudly she was sure he could hear it.

Before she could gather her thoughts, her foot slipped on the soft earth beneath her. With a startled cry, she stumbled forward, landing in an ungraceful heap on the ground.

"Ahhh!" she squeaked, her hands flying out to catch herself. Her hair fell across her face, and she scrambled to sit up, her cheeks burning brighter than the afternoon sun.

Naruto was already rushing toward her. "Hey! Are you okay?" he asked, his voice full of concern.

Flower's heart felt like it might explode as he crouched beside her, his face far too close for her trembling form to handle. His bright blue eyes searched hers, his hand reaching out to help her up.

"I-I'm fine!" she stammered, her voice trembling as she quickly looked away. Her hands fumbled to fix her disheveled hair, but her fingers wouldn't stop shaking. *Oh no, oh no, he's so close...*

Naruto tilted his head, his brow furrowing. "You sure? You're all red and shaking. Did someone hurt you?"

Flower's breath hitched. *Hurt me?* she thought, panic swirling in her chest. *Oh, Naruto-kun, it's not someone else—it's you. Every word you say, every glance you give me, every time your clueless, perfect self gets too close, it feels like my entire body is about to give out.*

Her hands clutched at her sleeves, her head bowing further as she tried to steady herself. *My heart races, my legs feel like jelly, and my mind... oh no, my mind keeps wanting things it shouldn't. Please stop looking at me. No—don't stop. Look at me harder.*

Naruto was still staring at her, his concern deepening. "Seriously, Hinata, if someone's messing with you, just say the word. I'll slap them so hard they won't forget it!"

Flower's head shot up, her lavender eyes wide with panic. "N-No! No one's messing with me!" she blurted, her voice high-pitched and frantic.

Naruto blinked, surprised by her sudden outburst. "Oh, okay," he said, scratching the back of his head. "That's good, I guess."

Flower felt her face grow impossibly hotter, and she ducked her head again, wishing she could disappear. *Why does he have to be so kind?* she thought, her heart aching. *Why does he have to care so much?*

And then, as if the universe wanted to make things worse, the system chimed in her mind, its cheerful tone echoing like a smug little bell.

---

Masochist Points Earned: +15 (Flustered Reaction).

+10 (Emotional Vulnerability).

---

"W-What?" Flower whispered under her breath, her face burning even hotter.

Naruto leaned closer, his expression curious. "Huh? Did you say something?"

"N-No! Nothing!" she squeaked, waving her hands frantically as though to erase the moment.

---

You're doing wonderfully, dear. Keep it up, and the rewards will flow.

---

Flower groaned softly, burying her face in her hands. *Why does this system keep encouraging me?* she thought miserably, her entire body trembling.

Naruto didn't seem to notice her distress. Instead, he stood and offered her his hand again, his grin as bright as ever. "Come on, let's get you up!"

She hesitated for a moment, her small hands trembling as she stared at his outstretched palm. Slowly, she reached out and placed her delicate hand in his. His grip was warm and steady, and it sent a jolt of heat through her chest.

"See? You're fine!" Naruto said, pulling her to her feet with ease. His grin widened as he gave her a thumbs-up. "You just gotta be more careful, Hinata! But don't worry—I've got your back!"

Flower's heart swelled at his words, and for a moment, she forgot about the system, her embarrassment, and everything else weighing on her. All she could think about was how bright and warm Naruto was, like the sun itself.

"Th-Thank you, Naruto-kun," she murmured, her voice soft but sincere.

He laughed, scratching the back of his head sheepishly. "No problem! Anyway, I gotta get back to training. See you around, Hinata!"

And just like that, he was gone, jogging back to the clearing with his usual boundless energy.

Flower stood frozen in place, her hands pressed to her chest as she watched him go. Her heart was still pounding, her cheeks still burning, but there was a faint smile on her lips.

*I'll do it,* she thought, her resolve growing stronger. *I'll use this system, no matter how embarrassing it is. If it makes me stronger—if it helps me support Naruto-kun—then I'll endure anything.*

The system chimed in her mind, its tone smug.

---

New Quest Unlocked: Prepare a Meal for Naruto.

Objective: Cook something for Naruto and deliver it to him.

Reward: +50 Masochist Points.

---

Flower's mouth fell open, her face turning a deep shade of crimson. "C-Cook for him?" she whispered, her voice trembling.

The system's voice responded, its teasing tone making her wish she could bury herself in the ground.

---

You're aiming to be the perfect wife, aren't you? Better start practicing.

---

Flower groaned, burying her face in her hands. "This is going to be the death of me..."

But despite her embarrassment, a small smile tugged at her lips. For Naruto, she would endure anything—even this.
