Naruto: Path towards Godhood

Ken and Shinku stood in front of each other.

Since this was going to be a battle, Shinku promised to use Genin's Level of Chakra and physical strength to make this fight much closer.

They dashed toward each other. Despite using low Chakra, Shinku was faster than Ken as he quickly appeared in front of Ken and punched him in the face.

Ken was able to see it using his Sharingan and ducked. He placed his palms on the ground and spun his waist toward the left, jumping up to his side.

Shinku's side was open to Ken. Seeing this opportunity, Ken tried to kick him while he was in the air.

If he let down his guard, Shinku would've been attacked. But knowing the advantage of Sharingan, he didn't lose his guard and instantly twisted his body.

His control over his body stunned Ken as he saw his kick being blocked by Shinkus' palm.

Not only blocked, but he also managed to catch Ken's kick and throw him on the ground.

Ken landed on his back. His expression changed as he felt a jolt of pain in his spine.

Ken quickly pushed Chakra into his palm and jumped from the ground, landing on his feet.

This time, he was bearing a lot of pain, which made it impossible to jump without using chakra.

"Can you still fight?" Shinku asked.

Ken nodded and slightly moved his back. After a few stretches, the pain disappeared, and he rushed toward Shinku once again.

He tried to throw a barrage of punches at Shinku, but he was left stunned when the thing he hit was just a small log.

That shock only lasted a split second when his Sharingan recognized the Chakra in the air and quickly turned toward that Chakra.

He took out several Kunai and threw them toward the tree where Shinku was hiding.

The Kunai flew past the tree, but before Shinku could properly react, they stopped and started coming towards him.

'Shuriken Jutsu of the Uchiha Clan. Those Kunai are connected by ninja wires. That being said, it isn't good enough.'

As Kunai began to move back, they were easily deflected by Shinku, who used his own Kunai.

Not being able to hurt Shinku, Ken decisively gave up his Shuriken Jutsu and started weaving hand signs.

[Fire Style- Great Fireball Jutsu]

He inhaled a large amount of air, molded his Chakra into his chest, and used Nature Transformation on top of it, releasing a powerful stream of fire from his mouth.

The fire slowly combined and turned into a large ball that moved toward Shinku like a blazing sun.

The tree in front of Shinku began to melt, but when it destroyed the tree and moved toward his sensei, it was split in half.

It was a simple swordsmanship that required him to release Chakra through the tip of his sword.

That chakra reinforced the blade to make it durable enough to slice through a fireball that was even powerful enough to turn the tree into ash in just a few seconds.

As he split the fireball, he sensed another fireball coming towards him, but this time, it was even bigger than before.

He quickly put back his sword and took out a scroll. This scroll released a ton of water as he began to weave hand signs.

It had a lot of hand signs, but he was fast enough to finish it within just ten seconds.

[Water Style- Water Dragon Bullet Technique]

A large dragon rose from the water and charged toward the fireball that was only a meter away from it.

Boom!

The Fire and Water collided, releasing large shockwaves around them. The shockwave was more than enough to send several trees flying.

Ken and Shinku utilized their Chakra Control exercises to stick themselves in the ground.

But the moment his fireball was destroyed by the water dragon, Ken dashed forward with all of his speed.

In an instant, he came next to Shinku as he swept his hand that held a Kunai.

Because of the mist, Shinku and Ken were unable to see each other, but Ken had the inherent advantage of reading Chakra.

Even if it was blocked by the mist, this mist didn't have any Chakra on it. So he could easily see through it.

This allowed him to launch a sneak attack on Shink, but just like before, he underestimated the Jonin.

Despite not having a proper vision, Shinku was able to rely on his powerful senses to feel the Kunai coming towards him.

He held a kunai in his hand and raised his hand, blocking Ken's kunai with his own.

Ken seemed to have predicted this as he quickly jumped in the air, dropped the Kunai, and finished two last hand signs instantaneously.

[Fire Style- Great Fireball Jutsu]

A fireball at such a close range was enough to kill even a Chunin. This wasn't something Shinku expected.

Because just the previous Fireball required him to launch a B-rank Jutsu, which should've consumed most of Ken's Chakra.

But he underestimated Ken's Chakra Reserves. Due to his improvement in the Uchiha bloodline, his Chakra reserves had increased drastically, giving him more mobility with his Jutsu.

Despite that, Shinku pushed a lot of Chakra into his foot and utilized the Body Flicker Jutsu to run away.

Whoosh! Bang!

The fireball didn't hit anyone. Instead, Shinku quickly arrived behind Ken after using Body Flicker Jutsu twice and putting his Kunai on Ken's neck.

"You did a good job there."

Shinku didn't continue to put his Kunai on Ken's neck. Instead, he pulled him out of the mist.

Looking at the destruction caused by his third fireball, Shinku's lips twitched.

"It seems like you have a lot of Chakra."

"Not a lot, Sensei. At most, I can only release one more Fireball." Ken shook his head and replied.

Shinku replied.

"That's already amazing. You know, when I was of your age, I couldn't even release one proper D-Rank Jutsu until I trained to increase my Chakra Control."

"During this battle, you showed me how much you have learned from your previous mistakes. Even I didn't expect you to charge forward with incomplete hand signs."

"If I hadn't seen your hand sign weaving speed, I would've believed you completed the hand signs in just one second."

"That's an amazing strategy, and for you to pull it off without breaking the concentration, you are already miles ahead of most Genin. That being said, you still lack a few things. Can you tell me what those are?"

Shinku already had an idea in his head, but he still wanted to hear from Ken because he wanted his students to think on their own instead of relying on him.

"A Jutsu that can actually hit my enemy." Ken replied the first thing that came to his mind, and continued.

"I planned to learn a new Jutsu, which is Fire Style- Phoenix Sage Fire Technique."

Hearing that, Shinku nodded his head.

"That's a good idea. Right now, you have a proper arsenal of Jutsu, but since you can't utilize the full power of Shuriken Jutsu and Fireball is too slow, you need something to compensate for the lack of sure-hit Jutsu."

"Phoenix Sage Fire Technique does have an inherent advantage of distracting the enemy with several small fireballs. But, I suggest you train Fire Style- Dragon Fire Technique of Uchiha Clan."

"You can improve your Shuriken Jutsu and Fireball Jutsu while training this technique. Once both are improved to a certain level, the power of Dragon Fire Technique will increase even more."

"But, there is another thing you need to learn. I believe a Body Flicker Jutsu is something that you truly need right now."

Hearing that, Ken thought for a moment. Indeed, he had Sharingan. With the help of Body Flicker Jutsu, he could become more precise and efficient with his attacks.

Thinking of this, Ken nodded and said.

"I will ask the clan for those Jutsu."

Knowing the big clan behind Ken, Shinku didn't feel it necessary to teach him anything more.

But, that being, giving him Jutsu was one thing, and teaching him was another.

"I am not that good at Fire Style, but if you need any help with your Body Flicker Jutsu, you can ask me."

"Thanks, Sensei!"

Ken smiled and nodded. Then, they continued their training for six hours and finally left the training ground.

After Ken reached his house, he took a bath. Since it was only two in the afternoon, he decided to train more.

Certainly, that training required him some energy, so he went to Ichiraku and devoured three bowls of ramen.

After paying for his meal, he decided to visit someone he knew closely from the clan and ask for those Jutsu.

This person was none other than Yakumi Uchiha, one of the members of the Konoha Military Police Force.

He was also someone who knew about his parents. He was the one who taught Ken Great Fireball Jutsu.
