Naruto : Nameless Brothel

Chapter 15: The True Art (2)

Naruto got back up, shaking his head to rid his hair of dust. Deidara still hovered above him on his clay bird, his arrogant smile plastered across his face.

"So, kid, what are you gonna do?" he sneered, molding a new round of explosives between his fingers.

"This lunatic really wants to roast me," Naruto thought. "I need to find a way to reach him. With Gaara still unconscious, I can't afford to waste time."

"If I can't go up to the sky… then I'll just bring him down."

Quickly, he pulled out two specially prepared kunai from his pouch and threw one toward Deidara, who tilted his head to dodge it with a smirk.

[Kawarimi no Jutsu]

In the next instant, Naruto vanished, catching Deidara off guard as he scanned the ground for him.

"Looking for me?"

A voice echoed behind him. Deidara barely had time to react before a sharp pain shot through his shoulder.

"How?!" he thought, scrambling to defend himself. Naruto had used a substitution technique with the kunai he had thrown earlier and managed to land a hit.

"Now die, you lunatic!" Naruto growled, delivering a powerful kick that sent Deidara tumbling off his bird.

"As if!" Deidara shouted, still grinning, flipping Naruto the middle finger. "You're the one who's about to die… ahahaha!"

"Huh?!"

A massive centipede ensnared Naruto on the bird, which was already showing signs of exploding.

"Damn it!"

BOOM!

A massive explosion rocked the desert, its shockwave spreading everywhere, silencing the battlefield. The blast was so intense that everyone paused for a moment.

"Admire my art, vermin!" Deidara laughed loudly from the ground, battered but seemingly satisfied.

"NARUTO!"

Temari's voice rang out as she rushed to assist. What had started as a straightforward plan was quickly spiraling out of control. Gaara was safe for now, but retreating was becoming increasingly difficult.

Suddenly, beneath a mountain of smoking debris, something stirred.

A rock rolled aside, revealing a bloodied hand weakly grasping the ground.

Then, slowly, a figure rose.

Naruto emerged from the rubble, breathing heavily. His ANBU uniform was in tatters, his torso exposed in places, revealing deep cuts and burns. His once-pristine mask was now cracked.

A vertical fracture ran down its right side, and through the opening, a blood-red pupil gleamed in the darkness.

A faint aura of orange chakra swirled around him, flickering like a living flame.

His fingers dug into the scorched earth. His breathing was ragged—almost animalistic.

Temari, standing at a distance, watched with a mix of relief and concern.

"He's alive…" she murmured.

Naruto slowly lifted his head, his gaze locking onto Deidara as the Akatsuki member molded a new bird.

"You're dead!"

His crimson eye gleamed in the shadows, sending a chilling shiver down Deidara's spine.

"The Nine-Tails' jinchūriki…!" Sweat beaded on Deidara's forehead. He wasn't in any shape to fight the host of the Nine-Tailed Fox—not now.

In the blink of an eye, Naruto shot toward him, destroying the bird and the rock behind it. The impact was so violent that it hurled Deidara far away.

It wasn't just Naruto who had emerged from the wreckage.

It was the demon inside him, beginning to awaken.

Deidara staggered to his feet, struggling to process what had just happened. The scorching wind lifted dust into the air around them. The ground, cracked and blackened from the explosion, trembled under the oppressive aura emanating from Naruto.

Deidara, bloodied and panting, knelt with one arm hanging uselessly at his side, broken from the previous attack.

"Tsk… Damn it…" he spat, backing away slightly.

Naruto didn't respond.

In an instant, he vanished.

Deidara had no time to react before a hand plunged into his abdomen, lifting him off the ground. His eyes widened in agony.

"GAH—!"

Naruto gave him no respite. His other hand grabbed Deidara's throat, yanked his first hand from his stomach, then hurled him like a ragdoll against a cracked boulder.

The impact was so brutal that the rock exploded.

Deidara collapsed onto his knees, coughing up blood. His breathing was erratic, his skull throbbing from the pain.

He tried to lift his head… and what he saw froze him in place.

Naruto was walking toward him slowly, like a predator stalking its prey.

His red chakra danced around him, forming an indistinct beastly silhouette. His claws had slightly elongated, and his fangs glistened in the firelight.

He was the pure embodiment of rage.

A chill ran down Deidara's spine. It was either him… or Naruto. One of them would die today.

With a trembling hand, he reached into his clay pouch and created a dozen small spider bombs, sending them straight at Naruto.

"C4 Karura!!" he roared, triggering an explosion of microscopic particles capable of disintegrating all living matter.

But…

Naruto was gone.

"What… again?!"

BOOM!

A vicious spinning kick slammed into Deidara's temple, sending him spinning through the air.

The world blurred around him, but before he could hit the ground, Naruto was already there.

"You won't escape this time," Naruto growled, his voice rough—almost bestial.

He grabbed Deidara by the collar and drove his knee into his ribs.

Crack.

A scream of agony tore from the Iwa ninja's lips as one of his ribs shattered under the impact.

Naruto released him… then brutally drove his elbow into his back, slamming him face-first into the ground.

The earth trembled beneath the force of the blow.

Deidara, teetering on the edge of unconsciousness, trembled.

He had never felt such pure terror in his life.

Naruto planted a foot on his back, keeping him pinned. His breathing was heavy, uneven, and his hands trembled with murderous excitement.

But suddenly, Deidara's body glowed—then exploded. Yet, it didn't seem to affect Naruto.

"You'll pay for this, Nine-Tails brat!" Deidara's voice echoed from a distance as he fled.

In that brief moment, Deidara had made perhaps the most crucial decision of his life—replacing his body with a clay clone before hiding and waiting for an opportunity to escape.

Naruto, on the other hand, had no intention of chasing him. He had regained control and prioritized the mission. After all, he was injured too.

He slowly turned his head toward the others.

"Retreat!" one of the Iwa ninjas yelled in a desperate attempt to withdraw, but the moment he uttered the words, his head separated from his body, which collapsed to the ground.

A heavy silence settled over the battlefield.

The Iwa ninjas, who had just witnessed the scene, were frozen in place.

Their instincts screamed at them to move. To flee. To fight back.

But none of them dared take a step.

Before them, Naruto stood alone.

His silhouette, partially obscured by the dissipating red mist, radiated an overwhelming aura.

His tattered ANBU uniform billowed slightly in the night breeze. His cracked mask, split on one side, revealed a single crimson eye—still carrying the ferocity of the demon within.

He said nothing.

He simply walked…

Towards them.

"Tch… Back up," one of the Iwa ninjas muttered to his comrades, his hand trembling over his kunai.

But no one moved.

Their eyes were locked onto Naruto's gaze.

A gaze that told them…

If they made a single wrong move, they would die.

Naruto didn't stop. He walked slowly through their formation, like a king striding through his enemies.

No one attacked.

No one even dared breathe too loudly.

Then, finally, he reached Temari.

The kunoichi stood motionless, her fan still gripped tightly in her damp hands. Her heart pounded wildly in her chest.

Even she…

She was afraid.
