As Ino walked home with her parents, her worry lingered. Finally, she turned to her father and asked, "Dad, why aren't we allowed to visit Brother?"

Inoichi's expression softened as he looked at her. "You know your brother fought a powerful rogue ninja," he explained. "That ninja hasn't been captured yet, so additional security is necessary until Inoiki's treatment is complete. Once he's healed, he'll be capable of protecting himself."

Shikamaru, walking alongside them, spoke up thoughtfully. "If that's the case, wouldn't it make sense to deploy a ninja team to ensure Inoiki's safety in the meantime?"

Inoichi gave a small nod, a faint smile playing on his lips. "Don't worry," he replied. "I've already discussed it with Shikaku and Choza. We've deployed a team of Special Jonin from the Ino-Shika-Cho to guard Inoiki. Every precaution has been taken to ensure his safety."

Hearing this, Shikamaru nodded in approval, satisfied with the answer.

Ino felt a little more at ease, though her concern for her brother still lingered. The group continued their walk home, the conversation fading into a comfortable silence as the weight of the day slowly lifted.

----

Three days later, in a quiet room at Konoha Hospital, Inoiki stood in front of a chair, removing his hospital gown and slipping into his freshly laundered clothes. The soft rustle of fabric was the only sound in the room as he fastened his attire, his movements deliberate but steady.

Having dressed, he sat down and flexed his left hand, clenching and unclenching his fist a few times. The once-broken arm moved without resistance, and he nodded to himself, satisfied that his body had fully healed.

Leaning back in the chair, Inoiki's gaze drifted toward the window, though his thoughts turned inward. After coming so close to death in my fight with Orochimaru, something within me has changed. My mental strength has grown drastically.

He glanced at his hand, faint traces of a glowing aura flickering momentarily before vanishing. I can now control all the natural elements as easily as if they were an extension of my own body. That's why Orochimaru mistook my abilities for no hand-seal jutsu.

A small smile crossed his lips as he considered the irony. In a way, he's right. My abilities now function like that.

Closing his eyes, Inoiki sank deeper into his thoughts. But there's still work to do. My spiritual power has grown immensely, far surpassing my physical body's current capacity. I need to balance the two. If I can achieve that equilibrium, my chakra reserves will multiply—at least five times what they are now.

His expression sharpened with determination. When that happens, fighting Kage-level powerhouses will be well within my reach. Orochimaru… He paused, considering the name that had haunted his recent battles. I can't say I'd defeat him even then. But one thing will be certain—he won't be able to harm me. Not in the slightest.

Inoiki's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the door to his hospital room opening. He looked up to see Team 7—except for Sasuke—entering the room, accompanied by Team 10.

Sakura stepped forward, a bouquet of flowers in her hands. She presented it to Inoiki with a soft smile. "Thank you so much for protecting us," she said sincerely. "And I'm glad to see you're doing well."

Inoiki nodded, accepting the bouquet with a small smile of his own. "Thank you," he said. "But there's no need to be this serious. I'm fine now." He gestured to his bandage-free arm for emphasis. "You should focus on your training instead of wasting time visiting me. After all, you all have to prepare for the third round of the Chunin Exam."

Just then, a voice interrupted from the direction of the window. "You're quite impressive, kid. Injuring Orochimaru not once, but twice—that's a remarkable feat for someone your age. I just had to see you for myself."

All eyes turned toward the source of the voice. Standing casually by the window was a man in his forties with spiky white hair. He wore a horned forehead protector adorned with the kanji for "oil" and carried himself with an air of confidence.

Inoiki immediately recognized him but decided to play along. "Who are you?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

The man laughed heartily. "Haha! I'm glad you asked. I am Jiraiya, the Toad Sage of Mount Myoboku!"

Inoiki simply smiled, clearly amused, but the others in the room couldn't hide their reactions. Naruto groaned, and the rest of the group exchanged uneasy glances, their faces twitching at the over-the-top introduction.

Naruto pointed an accusing finger at the man. "Pervy Sage! What are you doing here?"

Jiraiya chuckled softly, brushing off the insult with ease. "As I said, I came here to meet him." He nodded in Inoiki's direction, his expression momentarily serious before softening again.

Inoiki tilted his head slightly, studying Jiraiya. "Do you need something from me?"

Jiraiya shook his head with a smile. "Nah," he replied casually. "I was just curious, that's all."

Inoiki smirked faintly, his sharp eyes glinting with curiosity of his own. The others, however, were left scratching their heads, unsure of what to make of the unexpected visit from the legendary Toad Sage.

Inoiki nodded as Jiraiya gave a brief wave and disappeared into a cloud of smoke, leaving behind his usual enigmatic aura.

"What a strange person," Ino remarked, folding her arms with a puzzled expression.

Inoiki chuckled lightly. "Don't worry about it. You'll figure out who he is eventually."

With that, Inoiki prepared to leave the hospital. He headed toward the exit, walking with a steady stride. Ino moved to follow him, but he stopped and glanced back at her, sensing her intentions.

"It's time for your training," he said firmly. "I'm not going anywhere. Finish your practice, and we'll meet at home later. You don't want to risk failing in the third round of the Chunin Exam, do you?"

Ino hesitated for a moment, then nodded reluctantly. "Alright, fine," she said, though her worry lingered.

The group dispersed, each returning to their training routines with renewed focus. Inoiki, meanwhile, made his way home.

----

At the Yamanaka household, Inoiki was greeted warmly by his parents. That evening, a celebratory dinner was organized in his honor. The house was lively as Shikaku, Choza, and their families joined the gathering. Conversations buzzed around the table as they congratulated Inoiki on his speedy recovery, their camaraderie adding warmth to the night.

For the first time in days, Inoiki allowed himself to relax, enjoying the comfort of home and the support of those around him.

-----

The following day, life returned to normal. Inoiki resumed his rigorous training routine, his focus sharper than ever. His goal was clear: to fully digest the recent growth in his strength and achieve complete mastery over his current abilities.

Days turned into weeks, and the countdown to the third round of the Chunin Exam steadily ticked away. The anticipation built as each candidate honed their skills, preparing for the decisive battles ahead.

-----

The day before the third round, Inoiki sat in the quiet of his courtyard. The air was still, save for the faint hum of kunai slicing through it. Several kunai floated around him, weaving intricate patterns in midair, guided by his Psychokinesis.

Each blade moved with precision, zigzagging smoothly under his control. Inoiki's eyes followed their movements, his expression calm but focused. The faint glow of his aura shimmered faintly around him, a testament to the strength he had cultivated.
