Naruto: I'm Really Not an Evil Uchiha!

Chapter 78: Super Chakra Infernal Sword!

"Lord Daimyo…"

Miroku tilted her head back, gazing at the Daimyo of the Land of Demons, who stood atop the black mist dragon's head.

Her eyes flickered with a trace of complexity and reluctance, quickly buried beneath her calm exterior.

The Daimyo before her wasn't yet the paranoid, distrustful figure he would become years later.

To Miroku, he still remained the best childhood friend she had ever known.

Determination flared in her eyes.

"Activate! Seal! Release!"

Beneath Miroku's feet, a massive purple sealing formation—nearly fifty meters wide—unfurled.

The purple patterns hovered in midair, emanating a series of glowing purple spheres.

In the movie, even Ziyuan, who barely understood the priestess's sealing arts, could create a barrier spanning several meters.

Now, with Miroku's mastery of these techniques, her barrier extended to fifty meters.

Moryo's massive form was enveloped within it. Realizing that it was about to be sealed, Moryo struggled to regain control.

"Damn it! If I'd only had more time, this body's soul would never have been able to resist me like this," Moryo cursed internally.

If it hadn't been for Biwa Juzo's insane interference, his plans would have gone much smoother. How could he have ended up in such a miserable state?

Miroku chanted her incantation, summoning the priestess's unique purple chakra, which transformed into chains that bound Moryo tightly.

Zzzz...

The dense, purple-black mist surrounding Moryo was pierced and burned wherever the chains touched, releasing white smoke with a sizzling sound.

"No wonder the priestesses of this land are held in such high regard," Minato Namikaze remarked, watching Moryo thrash in pain.

It was clear—each had their strengths. His ninjutsu was ineffective against Moryo, but the priestess's techniques left the demon in utter disarray.

On the shrine, Miroku let out a quiet sigh of relief. Binding Moryo had been easier than she'd anticipated.

She had initially thought she'd need the help of Shimizu or other shinobi to complete the seal.

But now, it seemed that by unleashing the life-sacrificing sealing technique, she could imprison Moryo on her own.

"The priestess's lineage… it may end with me," Miroku murmured with a frown.

Moryo had emerged too soon. She hadn't had the chance to bear children or leave behind an heir.

Casually, she glanced at Shimizu. If only the Daimyo had been as assertive—or as devious—as Shimizu, she mused bitterly, a faint blush coloring her cheeks.

The thought was fleeting, blown away like dust as Moryo's violent surge disrupted her focus.

From its draconic maw, a torrent of purple-black flames spewed forth, corroding the deep purple barrier and snapping chain after chain.

The Daimyo's once-black hair sprouted streaks of white, which rapidly multiplied, spreading across his head.

His facial skin sagged as his youthful appearance of thirty transformed into that of a frail seventy-year-old.

Moryo was burning through the life force of this body with reckless abandon, shattering Miroku's barrier in the process.

Bam!

All of Moryo's tentacles slammed into the ground simultaneously, launching its massive form into the air toward Miroku.

A thread of blood trickled from Miroku's lips as the backlash from the shattered barrier hit her.

Reflexively, she wiped the blood from her mouth, only to notice a twisted strand of hair in her palm.

Her expression shifted to a mix of anger and embarrassment as realization struck her.

But the winds stirred by Moryo's approach blew away her thoughts.

The twenty-meter distance between them was nothing for Moryo's massive frame. It would take less than a second to reach her.

Miroku had no teleportation jutsu and no time to recite an incantation.

She would die.

The thought flashed through her mind, but her body remained frozen, ordinary human reflexes incapable of reacting in time.

"Flying Thun—"

Minato began gathering chakra, preparing to use the Flying Thunder God technique to teleport to Shimizu and save Miroku.

But someone else moved faster!

Shimizu stepped forward, pulling Miroku into his arms as flames erupted around them.

Boom!

Moryo's massive body crashed into the shrine, collapsing half of its structure and leaving the remaining ceiling precariously swaying.

Where Miroku had stood just moments ago, only a few stray embers remained, quickly extinguished by Moryo's movements.

Moryo instinctively looked up, spotting a fiery trail arcing through the sky.

Minato and Kakashi also looked upward, realizing it was Shimizu who had saved the priestess at the last possible moment.

Hundreds of meters above the ground, Shimizu held Miroku in his arms.

By releasing the majority of his chakra in a fiery teleportation jutsu, he had propelled them high into the air.

The fierce wind howled past Miroku's ears. When she opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was Shimizu's handsome face.

"Aah!"

Seeing the shrine below reduced to the size of a toy, she let out a startled scream and instinctively wrapped her arms around Shimizu's neck.

"Now, give me your chakra," Shimizu said, his right hand forming a loose grip as a fiery blade—the Infernal Sword—materialized in his grasp.

This jutsu was extraordinarily useful. Aside from the Uchiha clan, only its creator—a certain warden from Hozuki Castle—could use it.

"You won't withstand my chakra," Miroku protested, regaining her composure after her initial shock.

In the past, others had attempted to merge priestess chakra with their own for ninjutsu, but all had failed.

It required a medium and perfect synchronicity between the two. Their emotions had to resonate and align completely.

Given the lingering tensions between her and Shimizu, such harmony seemed impossible.

"That's not your concern—just channel your chakra into me," Shimizu commanded firmly.

"…Fine," Miroku relented, seeing his unyielding resolve.

Both of them spoke quickly, their words compressed into the fleeting moments they had while suspended in the sky.

She channeled her chakra into him through the nape of his neck.

A cool, soothing sensation coursed through his veins as her chakra flowed into his system. Shimizu could feel the unique energy, entirely different from his own.

The Uchiha clan was born with naturally abundant chakra, their pathways wider and more robust than the average person's. Shimizu's were even more so, amplified through intense training.

For anyone else, attempting to harness the priestess's chakra so abruptly would have resulted in immediate death.

Even Naruto, in the movie, had required the use of a bell left by Miroku as a medium. Only by fusing his and Ziyuan's chakra within a Rasengan did they achieve synchronicity and unleash the "Super Chakra Rasengan."

But Shimizu didn't need such measures—he could do it alone!

Buzz!

The air hummed as the fiery blade in Shimizu's hand intensified, emitting a dazzling purple-white light.

A pillar of crimson fire shot skyward, growing larger and larger, illuminating the twilight sky.

It was a striking sight—like a slender, purple sun rising on the horizon.

"What kind of jutsu is this?"

The spectators on the ground couldn't help but wonder.

Shimizu had used a fire-based sword technique in previous sparring matches, but its power paled compared to this.

The difference was akin to that between a basic clone technique and the Shadow Clone Jutsu—similar in appearance but vastly different in essence.

"Super Chakra Infernal Sword!"

A streak of purple-red light swept across the heavens and the earth.
