Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Kushina?
Chapter 2: Kushina?
Uemura Kazuki suddenly felt a headache, but the Third Hokage had personally told him that Kushina's status was extraordinary and asked him to take extra care of her. As a result, Kushina had hit someone—more than one, actually. Nearly a third of the entire class was beaten by her.
"Nonsense! You were clearly laughing at me and giving me unpleasant nicknames!" Kushina had transformed from the weak and helpless girl she was when she first entered the classroom into a blood-red little pepper. She was now covered in thorns that pricked anyone who dared to touch her.
"Silence!" Uemura Kazuki glared at the complaining students. He knew best which students usually made the most noise. Even though Kushina was at fault, they couldn't escape blame. "Qianyue, Minato, you two come to the office as well."
"I just went to watch the show, why am I being dragged along?" Qianyue thought, but he stood up and walked to the teacher's office with Minato, following Kushina and the students who were beaten.
"Qianyue, this girl named Kushina is fierce. You're her deskmate, so be careful," Minato whispered on the way.
"What?" Qianyue, lost in thought, hadn't noticed and looked back at him.
"Did I speak too softly?" Minato raised his voice, "I said this girl named Kushina is very fierce. You're her deskmate, so you must be careful to avoid getting beaten."
"Is that so?" Qianyue suppressed a laugh and patted Minato on the shoulder with a sympathetic look, "I think you should worry about yourself first, because I think you're going to get beaten."
"Huh? Who would beat me?" Before Minato could react, he felt someone glaring at him. He looked up and was startled to see Kushina, who had stopped walking, clenching her fists and staring at him with fierce eyes. Her long red hair floated menacingly.
This was the prelude to Kushina's rage.
"Take care of yourself!" Qianyue ran away quickly.
"Damn it! You're not loyal!" Minato felt like crying, feeling betrayed by Qianyue. Why couldn't he control his mouth? It's over now!
In the teacher's office, Qianyue summarized the situation: "These troublemakers laughed at Kushina and gave her nicknames, so she retaliated. That's basically what happened."
"Right, that's it," Minato echoed, no longer daring to speak nonsense after offending Kushina. He was afraid she'd block the door after school and beat him up.
Uemura Kazuki rubbed his temples with a headache and said, "Qianyue, you can't talk about your classmates that way."
"They're incompetent troublemakers. They're nothing but trash." Qianyue glanced at the students who had been called into the office. Everyone who met his gaze lowered their heads in fear, not daring to refute him.
"Qianyue, you…" Uemura Kazuki was helpless. It would be fine if it were anyone else, but Qianyue was indeed qualified to say this. Moreover, his relationship with these classmates was not friendly—similar to Kushina's.
He too had been nicknamed and had resorted to blocking the door after school to beat everyone he caught. Over time, the students began to fear him.
"You and Minato can go back to the classroom now," Uemura Kazuki said, waving them off before turning to Kushina, "Kushina, today's incident was quite serious. I hope you can ask your parents to come in and address it. What do you think?"
"Hah!" Outside the office, Qianyue laughed at the idea of calling parents. Minato blinked in confusion; was there anything wrong with asking parents to come in after a fight?
Who to call? Tsunade? That would certainly be interesting.
"Tsunade will be thrilled to be called to the school," Qianyue said, and Minato and Qianyue discussed dinner plans as they left. "Qianyue, can I come to your house for dinner tonight? I'll buy groceries after school."
"Sure, you take care of the groceries, I'll handle the rest," Qianyue agreed.
"No problem!" Minato said. They were neighbors and classmates, so they had a closer relationship than most.
After an accidental invitation, Minato always enjoyed having dinner at Qianyue's house.
Meanwhile, Tsunade scratched her messy golden hair irritably after being woken up by Kushina, who explained the situation.
"Who asked you to call parents?" Tsunade exploded. "I've been fighting all my life, and no one ever dared to ask me to call my parents!"
"Wait here for a few minutes while I go find a place!" Tsunade said, determined not to let Kushina be bullied. She didn't think there was anything wrong with Kushina's actions; instead, she felt it was justified.
After a quick wash, Tsunade, still reeking of alcohol, led Kushina to the ninja school and kicked open the office door, catching Uemura Kazuki off guard. Seeing Tsunade's face, he shrank back in fear and jumped up to offer his seat.
"Who asked Kushina to call her parents?" Tsunade demanded.
"Me…" Uemura Kazuki muttered, regretting his bad luck.
"I'm here now. Let's resolve this quickly. Don't waste my sleep time. You too," she said to the students' parents, "Your children bullied my sister on her first day. If this isn't handled properly, I'll have my sister block the door every day!"
Tsunade's bad temper and status made her famous in Konoha. She was the only one among the future Sannin who dared to openly challenge authorities.
In the classroom, Minato was excited at having seen Tsunade, a famous figure in Konoha. Qianyue, on the other hand, yawned and warned, "Don't get too excited. Think about your own safety. Tsunade is Kushina's guardian. You offended Kushina; do you think she won't beat you?"
Minato's excitement faded, replaced by dread. He hoped Kushina wouldn't notice him and treat him like air when she returned.
Fortunately, although Kushina had a bad temper, she didn't hit people without reason. Even though she was angry with Minato, she didn't plan to block the door after school.
After school, Minato and Qianyue quickly left, fearing Kushina might confront them. Minato, embarrassed at the idea of facing his future wife's wrath, ran away.
Over time, Kushina integrated into the class, and those she had beaten avoided her. Minato was among them.
"Kushina, can I invite you to lunch with me?" Kushina asked Qianyue after school, offering a large lunchbox.
Minato, who was about to join them, decided to leave the classroom, still wary of Kushina's temper.
"Sorry, I don't really like rice balls and sashimi," Qianyue replied, taking out his own lunch and chasing after Minato.
Let me know if there's anything else you'd like me to do!
