After being knocked away, Neji quickly landed, rolling several times on the ground before stopping.

However, the spinning top was caught by Natsuki's chakra threads, and with a forceful tug, he pulled it back, sending it crashing down right next to Neji, spinning again and launching Neji into the air once more.

For a moment, everyone watching fell silent.

They had expected Natsuki to win, but not in such a ridiculous manner.

The battle concluded with Neji and Sasuke both sustaining minor injuries. Sakura immediately seized the chance to perform, rushing to heal Sasuke first.

Neji, on the other hand, stared at the still-spinning top with a complicated expression. "Why do I feel like my Kaiten is just a small spinning top, and this top is bigger, so I got knocked away?"

Everyone: ... That… actually makes sense, but this isn't some spinning top game!

Luckily, expert Kakashi analyzed calmly, "Neji, you should remember Natsuki's Doton: Chouten Tenten (Earth Release: Rising Spin). This top is a miniature version of that technique. It's one of Natsuki's signature moves – a top-shaped chakra construct fused with earth nature, giving it incredible hardness and a spinning speed several times faster than Kaiten, with shock force that's far from ordinary.

"In reality, both you and the top were knocked away by each other's force. Natsuki simply used this move to interrupt your Kaiten Spiral Shot. As for you getting knocked away in the end, that was just Natsuki following up with another attack."

Neji understood.

So, his Kaiten Spiral Shot wasn't broken, it was interrupted – knocked off its intended path.

This exposed the weakness of his technique: his launch force wasn't strong enough, and his Kaiten's rotation speed was insufficient, which was why it was deflected. If his Kaiten Spiral Shot was stronger, he wouldn't have to worry about being interrupted, and Natsuki would only be able to dodge.

Thinking of this, Neji exhaled deeply.

He had finally come up with a new move, but he didn't expect it to have such a glaring flaw.

Sasuke looked at Natsuki at this point and asked, "Is your 'Line Release' meant to be a joke?"

Tenten glared at Natsuki. She had clearly handed him an unopened drink, but he deliberately took the one she had already drunk from… wasn't he afraid of being laughed at by everyone?

Shino nodded. "Yes. Let's head out."

"Alright everyone, we're off!" Natsuki waved as he left with Tenten and Shino.

After watching them leave, Neji immediately turned to Guy. "Guy-sensei, please help me perfect my Kaiten Spiral Shot!"

Guy gave a thumbs up with his shining teeth. "Oh! Leave it to me, Neji! Your youthful and passionate Kaiten Spiral Shot will become the ultimate cannonball under my guidance!"

Sasuke didn't hesitate either, saying to Kakashi, "Kakashi-sensei, if you have time, help me train my Body Flicker Illusion too!"

Kakashi sighed helplessly, unable to refuse. "Alright, I'll make some time."

Sakura finished treating Sasuke's wounds at this moment and showed him a bright smile, seeking praise. "Sasuke-kun, your wounds are treated. Make sure to rest well."

"Mm. Thanks."

Sasuke replied indifferently, leaving Sakura feeling disappointed.

Kakashi couldn't stand it anymore and sighed. "Sakura, you should probably go train. The Chuunin Exams aren't far off, and I'm sure you don't want to fail. If Naruto passes and becomes a Chuunin while you remain a Genin… you wouldn't want that, right?"

Sakura opened her mouth, then looked up at Sasuke's cold face, and finally nodded.

Of course, she didn't want to remain a Genin. She wanted to return to Team Seven, to be in the same team as Sasuke again, to see Sasuke every day.

Yeah… she probably should go back to training.

Meanwhile, Natsuki and Tenten followed Shino to where Naruto, Kiba, and Hinata were training.

Or rather, it looked more like Naruto and Kiba were fighting, while Hinata stood off to the side helplessly. Perhaps it had started as a proper sparring match, but these two hot-headed guys quickly escalated into a real fight, naturally devolving into this mess.

"What's going on?" Shino asked.

"Shino-kun, Natsuki-kun, Tenten-san." Hinata greeted them softly and explained, "At first Naruto-kun and Kiba-kun were sparring, but somehow things got weird, and they started fighting for real, even yelling insults at each other… Akamaru is barking too… I don't know what to do anymore."

Just as expected!

And at this rate, there was no way their team could pass the Chuunin Exams.

Shino released a swarm of insects to finally separate them.

Naruto immediately complained. "Shino, look at Kiba! He called me an idiot, isn't that reason enough to beat him down dattebayo!"

Kiba retorted, "You still say you're not an idiot? Last mission you messed everything up!"

Akamaru: "Woof woof!"

Naruto yelled back, hands on hips. "It wasn't all my fault! You and Akamaru were at fault too! Don't put everything on me!"

Kiba shouted back, "It was your fault! Because you're an idiot!"

Naruto stepped forward, ready to fight again. "Kiba, you wanna go? I'll fight you three hundred rounds dattebayo!"

Hmm, no one understood what mission they were arguing about, but it was obvious that their team lacked harmony… or rather, lacked unity. Naruto and Kiba seemed naturally incompatible, while Hinata was left out.

How could such a team complete missions? How could they participate in the Chuunin Exams?

Shino felt deep worry.

His tone turned unusually stern. "You've been a team for quite some time now, yet you still haven't coordinated well. You can't even complete your missions properly, and you think you can pass the Chuunin Exams like this? You think you can become Chuunin?"

Naruto and Kiba opened their mouths but couldn't say anything.

Moreover, a stern Shino was kind of scary.

Shino continued. "Kiba, Hinata, you both performed well when you were on missions with me. Has everything fallen apart just because I'm gone? Your performance disappoints me… and it disappoints Kurenai-sensei too."

Both Kiba and Hinata lowered their heads in shame, and even Akamaru looked sad.

Shino sighed helplessly. For a moment, he didn't know what to do.

He turned to his friend. "Natsuki, you're always smart. Do you have any way to help them?"

Naruto, Kiba, and Hinata all looked at Natsuki with hopeful eyes. Because Natsuki was always so strong, surely he would have an idea!

Natsuki adjusted his sunglasses. "Then… let's do a mock exam."
