Naruto: I Have a Gravity Training Room

Chapter 188

Three days passed in a flash.

When the secret chamber door was opened, Natsuki was lying face down in a pile of scrolls, his hair a complete mess.

Seeing this, Tsunade looked a bit awkward. "Ahem! Time's up, Natsuki, you can come out now."

Natsuki couldn't help activating Byakugan out of annoyance. "Tsunade-sama, don't make it sound like I'm some prisoner. Besides, you locked me in here without even giving a warning. Good thing I brought a light, food, and water myself, or I'd have starved to death in here!"

"Uh, ahem, that was my oversight this time."

Tsunade scratched her cheek in embarrassment. "But you must've enjoyed reading, right? Since you gained so much, don't complain."

Natsuki couldn't be bothered to argue. With his hair still like a bird's nest, he stepped out without saying more to Tsunade and left the Senju compound, only to find Tenten, Neji, and Sasuke waiting outside.

"Natsuki? What happened to you?" Tenten almost didn't recognize her boyfriend.

"Ugh, don't ask. I went to read the Senju library and got locked inside by Tsunade-sama. Thankfully, I prepared ahead of time. Otherwise, the place was pitch dark and I would've starved and dehydrated in there!" Natsuki still couldn't hold back a complaint.

Hearing this, Tenten felt heartache and silently cursed Tsunade in her heart.

Natsuki then warned Neji and Sasuke. "Neji, Sasuke, if you guys ever go to read the library, make sure to prepare properly. I've tested it out for you in advance."

The two immediately nodded. "Understood. We'll be ready."

They had come because they heard Natsuki had completed three S-rank missions and was visiting the Senju library, so they wanted to check on him. Good thing they did, or they'd suffer the same fate someday.

Sasuke couldn't help asking, "So? Was the library good?"

Natsuki nodded. "It's very extensive. There's not only the history of the Senju and other clans, but also many training notes. I only read some of the notes; there's still a lot left."

Histories of various clans? Training notes?

Neji and Sasuke's eyes gleamed instantly.

Wasn't this exactly what they were aiming for? Their breakthrough lay within the Senju library!

At that moment, Tsunade came out, and they hurried forward. "Tsunade-sama, are there any S-rank missions suitable for us? We want to complete three as soon as possible!"

Tsunade smiled. "Seems like this library is quite attractive, huh? Since you two are so eager, I'll accommodate you. However, S-rank missions are rare and dangerous, not suitable for you yet. How about this instead: six A-rank missions equal one S-rank. How does that sound?"

Neji and Sasuke's eyes lit up instantly. "That's great! Thank you, Tsunade-sama!"

Natsuki also said, "Thank you, Tsuna—"

Unexpectedly, Tsunade raised her hand to stop him. "No need for thanks from you, Natsuki. This special rule is for Neji and Sasuke only, not for you. You'll keep doing S-rank missions as usual."

Natsuki protested, "That's not fair! Tsunade-sama, you're being unfair!"

Tsunade smirked proudly. "You're a jonin, they're chunin. You do S-rank, they do A-rank. It's perfectly fair."

Neji and Sasuke silently agreed with her logic but didn't dare speak up. Although they felt bad for Natsuki as their friend, this special rule was simply too beneficial to refuse.

Natsuki couldn't be bothered to argue further. He'd read enough for now.

Once he finished his experiments back home, if he failed, he could always come back for more reading. The library wasn't going anywhere, so there was no rush.

Afterward, Neji and Sasuke followed Tsunade back to the Hokage tower, eager to tackle A-rank missions. Clearly, they were extremely motivated.

As for Natsuki, he went home with Tenten.

That night, after Tenten helped him bathe and eat, Natsuki collapsed onto the bed.

During those three days in the library, Natsuki hadn't wasted a single second sleeping. The moment his head touched the pillow, he fell into a deep sleep.

Seeing this, Tenten's heart ached even more. She decisively climbed into bed too. But instead of sleeping, she held Natsuki close, staring at him without blinking, as if she could never get tired of looking at him.

Then, she lowered her head to kiss him once, then again, feeling she could never kiss him enough.

Her hands also started getting a little mischievous.

After reading the Senju library, Natsuki updated his training plans once again. He had learned from the experiences of many elders – how to train for faster bodily growth and how to enhance his ninjutsu.

More importantly, he planned to delve deeper into understanding chakra nature.

To fuse different chakra natures, he had to thoroughly comprehend them first. Otherwise, it was like a blind man feeling an elephant – there was no way to succeed through random trials.

During this period, he barely took any missions, and Tsunade didn't assign him any either.

She probably felt it was better to keep Natsuki in the village in case of emergency missions, while ordinary missions could be handled by others – like the now extremely motivated Neji and Sasuke.

This gave Natsuki a lot of free time. Every day, he immersed himself in researching the properties of water, lightning, and earth chakra, as well as the possibilities of fusing them.

In the blink of an eye, another month passed, and the first of the month arrived again.

Entering the special laboratory, Natsuki began conducting experiments based on the hypotheses written in the elders' notes.

He first attempted to fuse lightning and water chakra natures within his body. The fusion method also came from the notes. Perhaps his predecessors had failed, but his experiments now were also to accumulate experience.

Lightning and water fusion was likely to result in Storm Release.

Those who used Storm Release in the shinobi world included Darui from the Hidden Cloud Village, and in the movie, there was Hiruko. Even Six Paths Madara seemed to use Storm Release as well.

In simple terms, Storm Release gave unstable lightning the stable flow of water, becoming what was commonly called "laser release." It had tremendous destructive power and could easily control direction and range.

If Natsuki could truly create Storm Release, his strength would reach another level.

Perhaps thanks to the elders' guidance in the notes, after several experiments, Natsuki had accumulated a lot of experience and grasped many key points.

He believed that as long as he kept trying, success was inevitable.

"...The Senju Clan elders included geniuses like Tobirama. Their theories on chakra nature fusion might have some flaws, but they're excellent regardless. The only reason they didn't succeed was because they lacked the experimental conditions I have. Otherwise, the Senju wouldn't have only had Wood Release as their sole kekkei genkai!"

One could only say that Natsuki was fortunate.

He had his golden finger, he knew how to learn from the wisdom of predecessors, and he wasn't lacking in talent. With all these buffs stacking together, his success was almost inevitable.

Moreover, he carried Senju blood himself. If he succeeded, it would be like fulfilling the wishes of his ancestors.
