Unlike ordinary spore clones, Number One's abilities significantly surpassed them. By his estimation, it should indeed be capable of Jōnin-level performance.

Dodging to the side, Uchiha Fugaku evaded the punch. Then, he quickly extended his hand and struck Number One, pushing it backward. Number One was sent several meters away, flipping to land steadily. It then formed hand signs and pressed its hand to the ground.

Number One froze. Uchiha Fugaku retracted the kunai and released the genjutsu.

"It truly possesses Jōnin-level strength!" Through this practical test, he confirmed that Number One was indeed comparable to a Jōnin within the village.

"An accidentally created special individual... this must be the secret behind Spiral Zetsu's creation!" By now, he understood how Spiral Zetsu came into being. While spore clones created using the Spore Technique appeared identical, there were subtle differences between each one. Number One was a special individual born from these subtle variations, possessing strength far exceeding that of ordinary spore clones.

"As for what circumstances lead to the creation of a special individual, that depends on luck!" Some people are lucky and occasionally win the lottery, while others never do, no matter how many times they play. His luck seemed pretty good; he had only created a few dozen spore clones and already produced a special individual. While this special individual's power couldn't compare to Spiral Zetsu's, it was still a special case. After all, Uchiha Obito, that "unlucky" guy, created a hundred thousand White Zetsu clones and never produced a single special individual. If he had, they wouldn't have been absent from the Fourth Great Ninja War battlefield.

But Number One was different. He remembered that White Zetsu clones had previously been transplanted with Sharingan without any side effects. Since his spore clones shared the same origin as White Zetsu clones and possessed Uchiha clan blood, they would undoubtedly be able to successfully receive Sharingan transplants.
