Sato vs Seven tails
Shibuki had fallen to the ground with fear; he didn't think the situation would degrade to such a level. Suien betrayed him, Sato killed Suien, and now they needed to face the seven tails.
"Are you okay, Shibuki Sama?"
Sato meanwhile patted his hand carelessly. He crouched down before Shibuki, and he gave the cowardly leader his hand with a smile. It was very different from his serious expression a second ago.
"Thank you."
Shibuki stuttered and held Sato's hand. Getting up from the floor, he stared at Sato, not knowing how to speak.
*GROWL*
Suddenly, a loud beastly growl was heard throughout the waterfall village. Shibuki's eyes shrank, and Sato frowned. He knew only one beast here who could make such a loud sound.
"You guys leave this village. This is a matter for our hidden waterfall village. There is no need for you to put yourselves in danger for us."
Sato silently watched Shibuki as the cowardly leader tried to put on a brave face for them. He acknowledged Shibuki's courage, even if the man was about to get himself killed.
Sato folded his hands thoughtfully; the seven tails was out, and for some reason, he was roaring angrily. Such a thing shouldn't have happened; Fu and Chomie have a good relationship.
Something must have happened to make Chomie act this way. Suien probably told his subordinates to do something, which made Chomie go berserk.
Sato took a deep breath. He knew what he should do. Staring at Hinata, he gestured to her. He needed to make this quick.
"Hinata, see if you can do something about this situation; try to find out why Fu went berserk. I will be right behind you. I need to make something clear first."
Hinata nodded with an understanding expression. She knew their identities, which made it impossible for Sato to rush in headfirst. He was the next Raikage. He had to make his position clear before taking action.
"Yes, Sato Kun. I will try my best to bring Fu back to her senses."
Hinata vanished with a body flicker. Sato then turned towards Shibuki. His eyes had a glint to them. Sato had thought of a way to get what he wanted, and to make the hidden waterfall owe him on top of that.
"You are right, Shibuki Sama; this truly isn't our problem, but how do you plan on stopping the seven tails yourself? As far as I know, the only hope you have is that hero water Suien mentioned."
"But even if you drink such a thing, you aren't going to become stronger than the seven tails. I have seen more than one tailed beast; I know how outrageously strong those things are."
Sato spoke from experience; he lived with the two tails and regularly fought the eight tails. Sato knew how unfairly powerful tailed beasts were.
"Shibuki Sama, I have a proposal for you. I am interested in this hero water Suien talked about. Let's make a deal; I will defeat the seven tails, and you will give me a little hero water and whatever research your village has on it."
"I believe I am capable of completing such a deal; as a show of sincerity, I will tell you our identity. I am Sato Nii, the future fifth Raikage. That girl was Hinata Hyuga, my wife."
Shibuki's mouth opened wide; for a second, he forgot the raging seven tails and Fu. He had no idea he was trying to recruit the fifth Raikage as their village jonin.
'How shameful!'
Shibuki felt ashamed; he would have tried to hide himself if not for the loud buzzing roar of seven tails. Which made Shibuki come back to his senses.
"We don't have time to waste; I accept the offer, Raikage Sama. Please stop the seven-tails. And if possible, try to save Fu."
Shibuki bowed to Sato, and Sato nodded with satisfaction. With the village relations taken care of, it was time to support Hinata. She was not ready to fight something that strong.
*Bzzzt*
Sato turned on lightning release Chakra mode, after grabbing Shibuki he vanished faster than the man could see.
*Bzzzt*
"We are here."
Sato dropped Shibuki and looked around. There was destruction all around the place; the battlefield was in the center of this village, on top of a giant lake.
"Twin-lion fist!"
Sato watched Hinata attempt to hit a version-two transformation Fu. This was the stage where the jinchuriki becomes a red humanoid creature, resembling their beast.
*Thump*
Surprisingly, the twin lion fists did nothing but stagger Fu a bit. Fu pretty much ignored the attack and lunged at Hinata.
"Revolving heaven!"
Hinata quickly started rotating, and a dome-shaped Chakra shield took shape.
*Thwamp*
"Gah!"
Weirdly, even the hyuga's ultimate defense couldn't block a claw swipe from Fu, and Hinata was blasted back with blood flowing out of her mouth.
*Bzzzt*
Sato vanished from his place and swiftly caught Hinata mid-fall. He was shocked; he didn't think she would lose so quickly.
Hinata was a special jonin, and her specialty was her gentle fist. Which means that when it comes to pure fighting, Hinata could be considered a jonin in that regard.
"Defeating a Jonin in two to three moves? This is way too strong for a version two transformation. I would expect something like this from the nine tails, not the seven tails."
Sato murmured and vanished once more, putting down the unconscious Hinata on a soft patch of grass. Sato spoke with his eyes glued to Fu.
"Shibuki sama, protect Hinata for a bit. She has received some internal injuries."
Hinata was knocked out with Fu's last attack; Fu was hitting way too hard and screaming like she was in great pain.
Sato would have liked to ask Hinata what the hell happened to Fu, but she lost before she could tell Sato anything.
"Guess I gotta do it the old-fashioned way then; I will try to knock some sense into the seven tails, or Fu, whoever is in control."
Sato's eyes narrowed, and his lightning-release chakra mode buzzed to life. He wasn't showing many emotions currently because he was in a fight, but Sato was upset at the seven tails for hurting Hinata this badly.
Sato wasn't going to pull his punches against this out-of-control jinchuriki.
"Prepare yourself, Fu. I am not going easy on you."
Sato crouched down and vanished; his eyes were viciously staring at the red humanoid beast. Even then, version two Fu sensed Sato from pure instinct and counterattacked immediately.
*Boom*
Two attacks met mid-air; Sato's lightning lariat struck Fu's claws. The air around them was rumbling like a thunderstorm. But Sato's face was hard to look at.
'She didn't even stagger; what is this strength? It's like I am fighting the complete eight tails.'
*Bzzzt*
Sato vanished once again, but this time he didn't attack instantly; he kept appearing and disappearing around Fu before he struck her from behind, his lariat aiming at the head.
*Clang*
Sato's trick confused Fu; she couldn't react instinctively this time and was hit hard on the back of her head. Version two Fu went crashing down into the water, but Sato was staring at the lake with irritation; he felt his fingers had stuck an insect shell.
"She is armored; that's the seven tail's rhinoceros beetle armor. I can't crack this with a regular lariat. I'll have to use the hell stab."
"Shit, I need to end this quickly. Her strength is increasing to ridiculous levels even in version 2 mode. If she keeps improving and truly transforms.."
"She's going to be stronger than the eight tails, maybe even the level of Yang Kurama. How on on Earth did Suien do this? There's got to be a reason behind this. Think Sato, Think."
Sato was trying hard to think of a solution while looking around. He could see Suien's men were already slaughtered by Fu; asking them was impossible. Hinata likely knows what happened to Fu, but she was knocked unconscious.
He had to think of a solution himself. He could win as long as he knows why Fu is acting like this and how she became so darn strong suddenly.
