Forbidden jutsu
Hiruzen took as much time as he could, but he knew he couldn't deny Sato any longer, so he took the next best option, taking the minimum loss.
"This is a bit difficult; not everyone will like the hidden cloud owning such a large piece of land in the middle of Konoha."
"It's like having a foreign army stationed at Konoha's center; nobody can be sure if those shopkeepers are really shopkeepers or hidden cloud Ninja."
Sato smiled, and he told the hostage to go on. The Hokage smiled wryly; he knew this too; he knew he couldn't refuse Sato's request.
"I can allow this, but the shopkeepers have to be trustworthy; they must be people Konoha can trust to a certain extent."
"It would be best if both Konoha and Cloud ran those shops together; that way there would be no cheating."
Sato nodded. This was fine; they could discuss the details later. There were a lot of capable people in Konoha anyway.
Most importantly, they would still need security, which means he can still place hidden cloud Ninja guards in the center of Konoha, just not too many.
"I agree. Now, let's talk about the next thing. I want two jutsu from your scroll of seals. I was going to have one, but Danzo's actions have increased my price."
The hokage clenched his fist. Sato was talking as if it wasn't him who manipulated Danzo to take action. Sato purposely let Danzo know about the scroll; otherwise, Danzo wouldn't have been so desperate to stop Sato.
"We can do that, but we cannot give up flying thunder gods; this is our bottom line."
"In exchange, you can ask for any other jutsu, and I would not raise any objection."
Hiruzen said seriously, there were a lot of jutsu in Konoha's scroll of seals, but the thing is, Hidden Cloud didn't know the most important ones!
Hiruzen was playing a trick; he knew Sato would know about the flying thunder god; that jutsu was why Hidden Cloud lost the previous world war, so he simply made that one jutsu impossible to get.
As for the remaining strong jutsus, the hidden cloud had no idea what was in the scroll; he could just show Sato a fake scroll that had the worst jutsu selected from the real scroll.
That's why, when Sato said the following, Hiruzen almost started cursing on the spot.
"Weird, I didn't want thunder god in the first place; the hidden cloud has its own space time ninjutsu. But thank you for your generosity, I guess."
Sato laughed loudly, ignoring Hiruzen's angry face. Sato raised another finger.
"The two jutsu I want are the impure world reincarnation and the spiritualization jutsu."
"The justu of the Jonin named Dan Kato; I am very interested in that jutsu."
Hiruzen's lips were trembling. Impure world reincarnation? Who the hell leaked Konoha's most important jutsu? How did the hidden cloud know about this jutsu?
"How did you know about impure world reincarnation?"
Hiruzen couldn't help but ask, to which Sato folded his hands and smiled.
"That justu? It's information is fuzzy, but the gold and silver brothers sent us one last message before dying; they told us about the second Hokage's impure world reincarnation."
"We still don't know if the second Hokage used that jutsu to kill them or if they simply heard about it from him."
Sato told a made-up story, and Hiruzen's face turned ugly. He was confused: why did his teacher leak such an important jutsu's information to the enemy village?
Now he was powerless to change the past, and the present was beyond his grasp as well.
"What happened? You said you wouldn't hesitate to give us any other jutsu; what's the problem?"
Sato smiled a warm smile, but it looked mocking in Hiruzen's eyes.
Hiruzen hadn't felt this powerless since the third great ninja war; back then, he had fumbled so hard that he had to give up the Hokage's position.
And now, his Hokage position might be under threat once again; he was going to sell two important jutsu to the enemy village after all.
"I will get the jutsu for you."
In the end, this was all Hiruzen could say. Going to his desk, Hiruzen took out the real scroll.
No use hiding this anymore. Taking out another empty scroll, Hiruzen made three hand signs and patted the two scrolls.
*Wiggle*
Handwriting started appearing on the empty scroll, and within five seconds, the two jutsu were copied.
Folding the new scroll, Hiruzen handed it to Sato.
"Excellent, it was nice doing business with you."
"The next time we meet Hokage Sama, it will be after my graduation; goodbye!"
Sato turned around and neatly left the office. Someone from his company would come to talk about the exact business deals; he no longer needed to worry about that.
This was the charm of being a big boss; this was how Sato managed to control 30 percent of Lightining's economy in two years; he had other people do it for him.
Fugaku and Itachi left with Sato one after the other, and Tsunade gave her teacher one last expressionless look before leaving with them.
Her relationship with her teacher was broken after this incident. Danzo's men were stabbing her, and he just stood there, letting it happen. There was no way Tsunade could call Hiruzen a teacher any longer.
"The sunlight, the sunlight! I can see the sun again. I thought my end was near. Danzo almost killed me."
Sato stretched his body in the sun, his bloody clothes drawing the attention of passersby, but he didn't care; he was celebrating Danzo's death.
Such a happy occasion!
"Huh, you are celebrating? Wasn't it you who manipulated Danzo so he attacked you?"
"Tell me, did you use me as well? Was I also within your plans? Was I also a pawn?"
Tsunade said from behind while walking towards Sato with a blank face.
Sato was startled, then shook his head with a wry smile.
"That was nonsense; the third Hokage was lying; I didn't think Danzo would almost kill me."
"In fact, I had no idea Danzo might attack us until Itachi used the seal on me."
Tsunade looked at Sato's face blankly, and then, after a whole minute of looking at Sato's innocent eyes, her lips trembled.
"Sorry.. After what the teacher just did to me, I am having trouble trusting someone; I shouldn't have doubted you."
Tsunade bent down and hugged Sato, her eyes watering. Fugaku looked at the warm scene and had a small smile as well.
Only Itachi was unconvinced; Sato sama was sharp, much smarter than them; he was like a supreme being who could do no wrong. The more time passed, the more Itachi was convinced of Sato's greatness.
Sato must be thinking 10 years ahead of them—no, 100 years ahead of them! Even now, Sato Sama must be smiling internally, playing with the world in the palm of his hand, like a child would play with a marble.
Sato sama was a god walking on earth, a true supreme being!
'What's his deal? Why is Itachi looking at me with such worship in his eyes? I swear Itachi and Hiruzen always have misunderstandings about me.'
Sato, meanwhile, grumbled internally. He was so scared, he almost went to pure land a second ago. After this incident, he decided to hide inside hidden cloud until he was strong enough to protect himself!
