Chapter 133: Chapter 133: Infinite Tsukoyomi Plan

"Young man, thank you for waking me up from my ignorance," Otsutsuki Hamura said, eyeing Shin with curiosity and surprise.

"By the way, whose descendant are you? Is it a reversion? I sense a faint similarity in your aura to that of my mother."

Shin felt slightly uncomfortable. After all, his bloodline was derived from the descendants of the Otsutsuki brothers. He quickly steered the conversation in another direction.

"We can discuss that later, Elder Hamura. For now, I'd like to talk about the Tenseigan."

The Tenseigan wasn't just the eyes of the Otsutsuki clan's branch; on the moon, where the Otsutsuki clan existed in isolation, it was a potent force. While recent conflicts had escalated, Tenseigan was actually an ancient relic, designed long before the current crisis. It provided the moon with a source of sunlight, showing its power.

"Tenseigan… I intended it as a countermeasure for my mother's possible return… What is your plan for it?"

Dark mist emanated from Shin's hand, revealing a miniature Tenseigan, now the size of an apple. The sight was uncanny, with numerous white-eyed stares gathered within—eerie enough to send chills down one's spine.

Though smaller, its power was now condensed. This Tenseigan's strength had nearly doubled, its purity and flexibility unmatched by any previous version.

"Incredible," murmured Otsutsuki Hamura, transfixed. "This power rivals my mother's in her prime!"

"Ordinarily, it would take tens of thousands of years for Tenseigan to reach this strength."

The fusion of Tenseigan grew increasingly challenging as it required tremendous chakra. Shin's Munch-Munch Fruit, however, merged all these powers seamlessly, channeling some of the Byakugan's strength into his own bloodline, though he avoided over-absorption to prevent drastic physical changes.

Shin knew he'd become unbeatable in the ninja world, so he refrained from sacrificing his appearance just to boost his power. He'd devised other uses for the Tenseigan; otherwise, he might have considered integrating more to transform himself into something beyond human.

Observing the artifact in Shin's grasp, Hamura raised his head. "Tell me, what is your plan?"

Shin's expression turned thoughtful. "Elder Hamura, are you aware of the current state of the ninja world?"

Hamura shook his head slightly, though his brow furrowed with worry. "I imagine it hasn't improved... seeing that only two descendants of my line remain."

Shin nodded. "The Sage of Six Paths originally introduced chakra to foster understanding among people, didn't he?"

"Yes," Hamura confirmed, nodding. "Chakra was meant to help humanity communicate and survive in a war-ravaged world. My brother shared it so that the people could manage the harsh environment. Unfortunately, after his death, chakra became a tool for killing."

Unlike the Sage of Six Paths, Hamura did not become the Ten-Tails' jinchuriki as his brother did. The Sage divided the Ten-Tails' chakra into nine Tailed Beasts, shortening his lifespan, while Hamura continued observing the world's descent into chaos from the moon. Perhaps his frequent laments over the state of the ninja world had misled his descendants about his intentions.

Shin's face brightened. "Well then, if a new method were available to help people understand each other, would you consider trying it?"

Hamura hesitated, eventually smiling faintly. "A new method? I fear I am but a remnant of chakra. My soul has likely entered the Pure Land already, leaving me unable to provide much help."

"It's all right; I can ensure you continue to exist in the world," Shin assured him with a grin. "And I'm more interested in your wisdom than your power."

Despite Shin's respectful tone, Hamura's cautious expression grew. "Young man, what exactly are you planning?"

Shin rubbed his nose thoughtfully. "Tell me, Hamura, have you ever heard of the Infinite Tsukuyomi?"

Hamura's body flickered uncontrollably momentarily, almost as if the suggestion had shocked him.

"How do you know of that jutsu?" Hamura's voice sharpened. "You possess the Rinnegan… Are you perhaps one of those beings from beyond my mother spoke of?"

Shin quickly shook his head. "No, no, I'm not from the 'beyond'. I'm a native of the world, just like you."

Hamura remained wary but calmed, sensing sincerity in Shin's answer. "Perhaps the celestial beings are mighty, but the Infinite Tsukuyomi's power is dangerous. Do not pursue it, for it could spell the end of everything."

Shin shook his head earnestly. While he considered himself pragmatic, destroying the world was far beyond his moral compass.

"No, you misunderstand," Shin explained quickly. "What I have in mind is a modified form of the Infinite Tsukuyomi, designed to create an illusionary realm where people can enter freely, interact, and connect at will."

Hamura's gaze softened, his posture loosening as he grasped Shin's intent. Shin wasn't interested in trapping the world in an illusion for conquest but instead sought a place where understanding could flourish in safety.
