Chapter 155: The Revival of the Ten-Tails, Infant Form

"Interesting, it seems Obito actually made a move against Kakashi," muttered Uchiha Yan as he observed the battlefield from his fiery throne.

Seated on a chair imbued with hellfire that hovered mid-air, Yan had a clear view of the events below. His lips curled in amusement as he analyzed the situation.

"Without the threat of the second Kamui Mangekyō Sharingan, the outcome of this battle is more uncertain. Obito can't take down Hashirama and the others, making it nearly impossible for him to obtain the Nine-Tails. On the other hand, the Five Great Nations will find it equally difficult to kill Obito."

As the chaos unfolded, Yan refrained from intervening, content with silently harvesting the souls of the fallen. The longer the battle continued, the more he could gain without lifting a finger.

His eyes glinted as he pondered whether to "add fuel to the fire" when the leaders of the Five Great Nations, along with Hashirama Senju, launched another coordinated attack on Obito.

---

Now aware of Obito's Kamui ability and its limitations, the Allied Shinobi Forces changed their tactics. They ceased wasting chakra on ninjutsu and instead focused on relentless taijutsu strikes, forcing Obito to maintain his intangibility.

Obito, despite his sharp reflexes and mastery of the Mangekyō Sharingan, began to feel the mounting pressure. Surrounded and under constant attack, he realized that his Kamui couldn't sustain him indefinitely.

"Damn it!" Obito growled.

"Shinra Tensei!"

Using the Rinnegan, Obito unleashed a powerful repulsive force, flinging away the attackers clustered around him. Taking the brief reprieve, he retreated to the top of the Gedo Statue.

Obito clenched his fists as he analyzed the situation. It was clear that capturing Minato's portion of the Nine-Tails was an almost impossible task. The coordinated efforts of the Five Great Nations had nullified his previous advantages.

Realizing his precarious position, Obito made a decisive move.

Without hesitation, he used Kamui to transport himself into his pocket dimension, vanishing from the battlefield.

---

"Where did he go?"

"Did he flee?"

The abrupt disappearance left the Allied Forces bewildered. They scanned the battlefield anxiously, unable to detect any sign of Obito.

"If he truly ran away, we might as well end this farce," Tobirama muttered, though he didn't lower his guard.

His irritation grew as he considered Obito's Kamui ability—a skill that allowed the user to fight or retreat at will.

"I'll need to develop a countermeasure specifically for spatial ninjutsu," Tobirama mused, his tone laced with frustration.

Hashirama, however, wore a serious expression. "I doubt Obito has given up. He may be regrouping or preparing his next move. We must remain vigilant."

Tobirama sighed but acknowledged his brother's insight.

Hashirama then asked, "By the way, where is that other Uchiha—the one responsible for the destruction of Konoha? His attire resembled Obito's, so he might also be a part of the Akatsuki."

"Why bring him up now, brother?" Tobirama snapped, his expression darkening. "If that brat dares show his face, I'll personally make him pay for what he did to Konoha."

Despite his anger, Tobirama couldn't ignore the strategic importance of preparing for Uchiha Yan's potential involvement.

---

Meanwhile, Obito reappeared at the opposite end of the battlefield, away from the Allied Forces.

With swift precision, he targeted and killed several shinobi, confiscating a sealing scroll containing Edo Tensei reanimations of Kinkaku and Ginkaku.

Both brothers had once consumed the flesh of the Nine-Tails, gaining a portion of its chakra. Though this chakra alone wasn't enough to fully revive the Ten-Tails, Obito had anticipated this and prepared accordingly.

He retrieved another captive from his Kamui dimension: Sora, the pseudo-Jinchūriki. Sora contained remnants of the Nine-Tails' chakra, planted within him by his father, Kazuma.

Combining the chakra from Kinkaku, Ginkaku, and Sora, Obito now had enough to complete the Gedo Statue's transformation.

"Summoning Jutsu!"

Obito summoned the Gedo Statue to the battlefield, its imposing form casting a shadow over the war-torn land. Without hesitation, he fed the bodies of Kinkaku, Ginkaku, and Sora into the statue's maw.

The statue groaned ominously, its body convulsing as it absorbed the remnants of Nine-Tails chakra. The ground trembled as its transformation began.

---

Back on the main battlefield, Hashirama and the others felt the earth quake beneath their feet.

"What's happening now?"

Before they could react, the Gedo Statue reappeared, but it had changed. Its body had grown, resembling a massive beast with coarse skin and a terrifying aura. Its eyes bore the Rinnegan, and ten tails lashed behind it in a frenzy.

The Ten-Tails had been reborn in its infant form.

"That's... the Ten-Tails!" Hashirama exclaimed, his voice tinged with shock.

Minato's expression turned grim as he tightened his grip on his kunai. "Even in this incomplete state, its power is overwhelming."

The allied shinobi forces stared in disbelief as the monstrous beast loomed before them.

Obito stood atop the Ten-Tails, gazing down at his enemies with a mixture of triumph and disdain.

"My plan is already in motion," he declared. "You're too late to stop it."

The resurrected Ten-Tails roared, its deafening cry shaking the heavens and earth. The final phase of the Fourth Shinobi World War had begun.
