Kurenai carefully pondered her mother's words, feeling that perhaps her mother was overly concerned. "Mother, our Third Hokage is a reasonable and kind person with a great reputation. Kurenai's mother continued explaining patiently, "Even though you haven't betrayed the village, upsetting them is already the greatest crime you can commit."

"They might not act overtly against you, but they can still sabotage you in secret. This world is very complicated. You need to learn how to deal with people and avoid offending others, especially since our Yuhi clan is no longer a powerful one."
